Great Buy..!! Since there was an Upgrade for the Switch 2 and Nice Western Game to Play..!

I picked this up once it was announced it was getting a *free* Switch 2 upgrade. The upgrade process was painless - it's just an update you download from Nintendo's eShop. The game now runs at 1080p/60fps in handheld mode - meaning it runs better now in handheld than it ever did on 360 and PS3. There seems to be other upgrades like the draw distance for foliage and shadows, but nothing earth shattering. As for the game itself, it's the same game from 2010. It's aged gracefully for a 15+ year-old game. It's not as complex as Red Dead Redemption 2, but I think that's a good thing. There's no clunky inventory system and the quest system is very much what we've seen for decades from GTA Where you go to a marker on your minimap, a cutscene plays explaining the quest/mission/heist, and you go to the next marker on the map to kick it off. It's not revolutionary in 2026 but it's tried-and-true and not quite stale yet - game design just hasn't evolved that much yet. The relatively minimal interface has aged well too, so you don't necessarily feel like you're playing an older game. It may not have the horse, gun, and outfit customization of RDR2, but it's easy to play a quest a night before bed once the kids are asleep. And that's why the Switch/Switch 2 version is so great - you're not anchored to your TV to play this cinematic classic of a game.

I’ve played many games on my switch and none run as smooth or look as good as this game on it. It’s a one to one port of the original game. Get it and enjoy the classic story on the go! Does suck there’s no trophies for the hunters out there but it’s still a great game

This game is still one of the best ever made. It's a sequel to Red Dead Redemption 2 (prequel) and runs at 60 FPS on the Switch 2! A 3050Ti laptop would struggle to do the same. A definite recommended title and if it's on sale - don't even hesitate. Get it, love it, beat it, then keep it/trade it in.

I picked this up expecting to return it, thinking it would run poorly but I happily proven wrong. A must have for any switch owner. Runs great, looks amazing on the oled model. Everything you remember about this game from the 360/ps3 era fits perfectly in a portable device. Cherry on top is that it includes the undead nightmare dlc. Hours upon hours for an exceptionally good port. 10/10!

this game is really fun and addictive. it makes me want to play slow so i can enjoy it longer. i never had the chance to play it before until now and it does not disappoint. story is good, controls and visuals are good as well.

Lovers this game when playing it on the Xbox 360 back when I was in high school. One of the best games ever made period, add it to your collection and there’s even switch 2 upgrade for switch 2 users. Highly recommend both game and Best Buy.

I played this all the eay back in 2010, and expected to enjoy replayign it quite a bit. I didnt expext to fall back in love so much with the game on my repeat playthrough, and the switch port is immaculate.

One of the best weatern games ever made. Enjoy this more than any GTA game personally. Now that it runs smoother and with more graphicals on switch 2, it’s a joy to play on the go.

The game runs just fine. I just find the rock stars modern approach, a gaming, very boring and unengaging.

I only bought this because I'm addicted to buying video games. I haven't even played it yet but I needed to put it in my collection cuz it didn't update for the Nintendo switch. 2. I may have a problem!
