The game takes a bit to get going, but the action is fun and intense. I do like the way the exposition is inserted into the game. very well done indeed. The controls are smooth and responsive. I've only payed a couple of hours so far, but I find it worth the purchase!

The action and clips are good. I love the weapons and the horse riding.

Sad that I never picked this up earlier! This is a great sandbox game set in the wild wild west. The story is a lot of fun - made even more fun by the multitude of challenges and achievements available outside of the storyline. The downloadable "Undead Nightmare" extends the fun even further.

One of the best games of this past generation, much more than just a gta4 western

You can choose to play through the main story line or you can go do your own thing. The things to do are endless.

Since there aren't many westerns available for consoles, Red Dead delivered a top notch game

Red Dead is awesome. Always a good time playing. Prefer my PS3/4 but needed something for the kids Xbox.

I did not have a chance to play the game upon its release, so purchased to play via backwards compatibility on xbox one. Great game as other allude to, and although several years old, looks and feels like a newer game still. Worth playing prior to the release of RDR2

An engaging story set on the backdrop of the dying west. A tale of coming to terms with ones past in order to preserve ones future, with plenty of action and adventure. the best part is that you're along for the whole ride.

Just a great sandbox style western. You will lose yourself in both the story and side quests.

The only problem i have withthis is how much it costt, same with the goty edition since dlc is free and its an older game. Other than that the graphics are good for an older game,good story, and decent gameplay once u get used to it.

Bought this game for my nephew for Christmas. I also own this game. Huge open world set in the Wild West. GTA of the Wild West!! Great game.. must have for any collection!
