The Vortex 7x25 Razor HD 4000 Laser Rangefinder features a moderate-magnification 7x monocular with a 25mm objective lens, providing a wide field of view to identify and track targets. Its invisible IR laser can measure distances up to 4000 yards (over 2.25 miles), while an integrated inclinometer compensates for uphill and downhill angles up to ±70°. Multiple targeting modes include Normal, First, Last, and Extended Laser Range (ELR) mode, and ranging modes include Horizontal Component Distance (HCD) and Line of Sight (LOS). The device has a 5-yard minimum range, ideal for bow hunters, and an accuracy of ±0.5 yards from 5–199.9 yards, ±1 yard from 200–1,000 yards, and ±2 yards beyond 1,000 yards. Optical performance includes high-density extra-low dispersion (ED) HD glass, XR Plus fully multi-coated optics, ArmorTek scratch-resistant coating, 341-foot field of view at 1000 yards, 16mm eye relief, and a 3.6mm exit pupil.
