Remnant: From the Ashes is a third-person survival action shooter set in a post-apocalyptic world overrun by monstrous creatures. As one of the last remnants of humanity, you’ll set out alone or alongside up to two other players to face down hordes of deadly enemies and epic bosses, and try to carve a foothold, rebuild, and then retake what was lost.

Q: Does the physical version require a download patch?
A: I did have any patches to download when I put it in my switch, nor did I get any prompts to download anything after a week of playing. This is one of the better ports I’ve played in recent years.
A: It was just restocked and made available for pickup in store earlier today. Ordered my copy. I’d missed out on this the day it went up for preorder about two months ago; the pickup option disappearing after only a few hours- something I’d never seen happen so quickly before (really thought I’d have more time!), so Big Thanks to everyone involved! Hope it sells well enough to eventually get a portable port of the newly announced sequel.
