Multi-Input Efficiency Charging
The Renogy DC to DC Charger with unique dual charging options. This multi-stage, multi-input battery charger can charge the house battery from a starter battery linked to the car alternator or by connecting solar panels directly to the unit. Both ways can be charged at the same time to minimize charging time. With up to 99% MPPT tracking efficiency and 94% convert efficiency, the smart charger can fully charge a 1kWh battery within 2 hrs with solar energy.
Soft Start Circuit Design
The voltage at the input end of the 12v DC to DC charger will be rising gently, intending to avoid when the car alternator starts, the instantaneous overvoltage which may cause damage to the on-board battery charger or cause the starter battery to over-discharge and due to the vehicle can not start.
Ingenious Structure Ddesign
Removable side covers avoid contact between product terminals and the human body during transportation and daily use, which results in electrostatic damage, ensuring product stability and safety. The all-in-one NEG- terminal with partition design integrates the terminals for solar panels, the array starter battery, and the house battery, avoiding misconnection and making the simple installation.
