Q: How is the unit recharged? Via the 9v input? USB input?
A: There are multiple ways to charge it. It has a DC wall adapter that comes with it for the 5mm port, and comes with a USB-C and USB-A cable to charge with as well. Another option to charge it is from solar panels, up to 110watts.
Q: Can you keep using this device while charging via solar?
A: Thank you for sending your inquiry, and our utmost apologies for the delay in response. We do not recommend since the Renogy - PHOENIX 300 Battery-Powered 337Wh Capacity Portable Power Station can power DC appliances but AC power is not available while it is re-charged or while it is charging. This will avoid damaging the unit. Hope this answers your question. Should you have any questions, please contact us at 909-287-7111, Monday through Friday 8:30 am - 3:00 pm PST, and expect long wait times as we also are migrating to a new phone system. Q: Are AC outlets pure sine wave?
A: Yes
A: Hi MrTim, Thank you for sending your inquiry. I can charge your gaming laptop for more or less than 2hrs using our Renogy - PHOENIX 300 Battery-Powered 337Wh Capacity Portable Power Station. However, if you need more to charge other small gadgets then yes, we recommend an inverter such as our 700W inverter or 1000W inverter. But aside from an inverter, a battery would be needed to supply power. You can give us a call at (909) 287-7100. We're open Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 3 pm PST. Hope it helps.

Q: What is the required solar panel minimum wattage?
A: Thank you for your questions. we recommend 50-100W solar panels for charging the PHOENIX 300. Thanks and have a nice day.

A: Hi Wekshi, If the solar panel produces about 18 watts per hour then it would take around 18 - 19 hours from 0% to 100% of charge provided that it can continuously output 18W Via a 12v car outlet, it would depend on the total wattage per hour it produces
