The Honeywell Home-Lyric WI-Fi water Leak and Freeze Detector is a godsend for checking for leaks in our second home. Now I can remotely check if there is a leakage problem as well as monitor the humidity in the air. The home is in a tropical environment. So I know if the humidity goes up the Air Conditioning has failed and mold can easily be produced. This product certainly puts my mind at ease.

I'll start out by saying this is the 2nd one of these I had to get, as the first had issues during setup and after hours on with tech support the false alarms wouldn't stop and they said to return it. Then these were on backorder for close to a month when i tried to order a replacement. This replacement set up correctly and pretty straight forward. I wanted something to alert me about basement water should my sump pump fail again. Its nice to get the alerts on my phone an emailed to myself and others. Also can check the device status through the app and get average temps and humidity levels. Its is pretty pricey though, but a lot cheaper than water damage!

I bought this for a basement without a sump or drain. This device gives peace of mind knowing that it will notify me on my cell phone of any possible leak or temperature issue that reaches the sensor. I did have an issue getting it synced to Wi-Fi, but after a few attempts it did work and it's worked fine ever since initial connection to Wi-Fi. Recommended.

This alarm is very easy to set up and can be easily integrated into a smart home setup. I put this alarm behind our washer and dryer, which are on the second floor. I like being able to view the temperature and humidity from the app. Extensions are available for the sensor cable. Several cables can be daisy chained together to cover a large area.

When I first read the other reviews and information, I was excited that I found the product I needed. I was wrong. One of the descriptions stated the detector could be synced with Goggle Home. It can't. When the device goes off, you cannot shut it off from your phone. You have to make sure the cord is dry and reset it. Not a good system as the alarm will keep ringing till you do this. Its an OK detector but could be upgraded. If I had to purchase again with all the information, I would look somewhere else.

I bought this to monitor our basement for any water leaks or for dropping temperature. Very easy to set up and see the temperature and humidity on the app. It gives me peace of mind when I'm gone. Luckily, we have not had to actually test it with any problems.

This item does not require a hub to work. Easy to set up with my wi fi server. Sends a audio alert when activated by water leak . Inexpensive peace of mind when I’m sleeping or away from house. Easy to set up.

It's really to hook it up! You plug it in and put the extension cable down on the floor.

I tried several products for temperature and water leak monitoring, before discovering this Honeywell product. Many required hubs. I have come to the conclusion that this is the best stand-alone option out there. I purchased two of these sensors for my dad's house and setup the Honeywell app on his phone. They are simple to setup and use. I explained the app to him in minutes. Three months later, everything is working great! I am thinking about buying some for my own house.

i purchased this to check for any leaks by my water heater. Sure enough a week later one of my circulator pumps sprung a leak. the detector alarm went off and sent me a push notification to my cellphone and and an email as well. Thankfully I was home at the time so I could shut off the system to prevent a big flood. This is a great peace of mind to use by water heater or washing machine or toilet. you can also purchase separately a device that can shut off your whole water main remotely if you get an alert about water leak if your not home at the time. Again this is peace of mind at a reasonable price.

Battery can last 1-3 years depending on how many times a day you want device to check the humidity and temperature. Has a loud alarm. Why I bought: my AC condensation line got clogged and wasnt draining, so water started backing up and drenched the ducts and held water there. This caused my AC to freeze as well. After expensive repairs, I bought this device and installed in the catch pan under the AC and fed the sensor line into the duct. Next time any water or moisture is sensed, I will assess the issue and fix the problem before it becomes a real problem.

Good valued product from Honeywell. I bought two for basement and works well. Just make sure you have wifi connection to where you plan on placing.

Pretty good addition to my connected home. Was able to get it free with Lyric purchase. I do like getting email updates and alerts through the app. It does take a little tweaking in the app to make it right.

These leak detectors are life savers! They work really well and sound early enough to prevent damage, but don't go off unnecessarily. We have several of them - near the hot water heater, by the washing machine, etc.

Works great once get set up. The set up can take a little while due to placement of sensor wire. Once installed seem to work great.

We feel at ease knowing that we can monitor our sewer area under our house in the crawl space without having to go down their periodically. Being able to check even the battery on our phones is a great feature.

Purchased this leak and freeze detector to use with my T5 Honeywell Lyric t'stat. Simple to set up and use. Simulated water leak, set off local alarm and sent alert to my smart phone. Perfect!

This device works like it should. I had a leak in my basement back in February and this let me know in enough time to get it corrected before it got bad. Only takes a little bit to dry off and be reset to used again.
