Clever gameplay mechanics make being a detective challenging yet approachable, with a well-balanced series of puzzles and a peculiar but highly compelling story. Excellent graphics.

This game is a mystery presented in a black-and-white 3D style. It is essentially a longform logic puzzle, but has a fascinating story that only gets uncovered through examining the deaths of the crew members of the ship the Obra Dinn. The game forces players to use their wits and examine all of the clues, written, audio, and visual, as well as the process of elimination to solve it. It never felt like I was totally stuck because the game had a mechanic of telling you which ones are correct after three correct guesses, meaning new information was always being given and if necessary, brute force educated guesses could work to get to the next step. If you enjoy puzzles and unique story and artwork, this game is for you. If you aren't jazzed about puzzles, the story is still good but you might not love this one.

Nintendo Switch Return of the Obra Dinn is exciting and a lot of fun. Limited Run games have done it again with something different.

Didn't know what to expect when I looked at the box. Probably in my top 10 indie games after one playthrough. Would definitely recommend to anyone who enjoys mysteries and puzzle games.

Very great mystery game with a unique way to solve it. One of the better indie titles that I've played. Surprisingly short. Need to pay attention to what's happening in the story.

Super interesting game and story. Very in depth and requires focus. Not for everyone but it’s definitely a good original game for the collection.

One of the best mystery games I have ever played, the story is amazing. I wish there were more games like this, so glad it's on the switch.

I found this game was casually paced and super fun. If you like determining that it was Colonel Mustard in the Library with the Candlestick, this game may be of interest to you. Upon climbing aboard the vacant Obra Dinn you must determine who the crew and passengers were and what happened to them through flashbacks and by matching everyone to the manifest. You can jump through chapters to piece things together, walk around the scenes to examine them from different angles and sometimes push the edges of each flashback to see what's going on with other crew on a different level of the ship. I mean, that's really it; the game is more about serious observation and inference more than anything. I played this on my handheld Switch Lite and I have zero complaints. All text was clear, large and easy to read. Controls were easy to learn, fluid and perfect for the Lite.

Graphically one of the most interesting games on switch. If you are a fan of visual Novels, mysteries or point and click games - this ones a great hybrid. Really unique and glad it got a physical release on switch.

Excellent game! It was a bit weird to get used to it, but once I got it, I couldn’t stop. The story unravels and it’s very interesting and unique.

What a game…very interesting story and setting. Very mature story, definitely not for kids. Love the art style…recommended for those who want “something different”

Great unique game worth picking up if you want to try something different. It's a great mystery and piecing together just what exactly happened is very satisfying.

Absolutely stellar and unique game. The style and concept are enthralling. The deductive puzzles are challenging, but fair amounting to a satisfying experience.

An awesome chill game to play on the go for the Switch. And a Limited Run title to boot which you don't see too often at Best Buy.
