A: Most people do basic research on a pricey item like this before buying, and often there is information not listed in the description like here, and yes, Best Buy should update their information in the description to state what it needs. That said, it took me about 20 seconds of clicking the link to the user manual to find out it takes 5 AA batteries and if you want to save pics to a file for uploading to a computer, a Micro SD card (only up to 32GB). You are welcome.

A: No. They do not have the regular eyepieces that normal binoculars use. There is an internal viewscreen that needs to be powered.

A: Hello! It does magnification but you may need a stronger device to be able to look at the night sky.

A: Hi Vince! When it is dark, the night vision automatically applies through the lenses giving you clear vision in the dark.
