This is the perfect upgrade for a Ford Sync3 system that requires a wired connection for Android Auto and CarPlay. This device is low profile, completely blending in to my truck's infotainment dash. The intial setup was super easy and my phone now automatically connects to the device and AA automatically boots when I start the truck. Completely seemless experience!

Excellent simple to use product. I appreciate that it came with both USB-A (the big square plug) as well as an adapter for USB-C (rounded symmetrical connector). Worked well for me!

I tried buying $200 devices that have all sorts of features like Netflix and screen mirroring and a bunch of fancy features that I never really used. After a car accident, I rented a car that had built-in Wireless CarPlay and I LOVED it. Automatically connecting, fast connecting, and always just there on and waiting. I returned my fancy $200 wireless carplay adaptor that ran on Android, required updates and frequently overheated and shut down and thought that I would just have to live with plug in CarPlay. This Rexing CPW-52 is the experience that I wanted from the beginning. Simple, quick and easy to setup, I'm so happy that I found this. I have always trusted Rexing for my dash cams so I knew when I saw this wireless carplay adapter, I could trust that it would be a quality, well-built product.

I have been using Rexing Wireless CarPlay adaptors for several years in my “summer” vehicle (FJ Cruiser) which has an aftermarket corded CarPlay-enabled radio head unit. Each version of Rexing’s CarPlay adapters continue to impress – the connectivity and speed to connect has gotten down to less than 10 seconds from starting the car. The ability to be fully hands-free (and practically eyes-free) use of CarPlay via Siri is responsive, and music streaming is excellent. No noticeable buffering and the size of the device is so small, it’s almost hard to see. An absolutely outstanding addition for vehicles which do not have native wireless CarPlay functionality. A couple of notes – not necessary cons – but notes. The device gets very warm, so placement with room for air should be considered. Also, the nature of CarPlay is flawed no matter what device you use if you have multiple devices that utilize a wireless network. I have a cellular-enabled dashcam setup that utilizes WIFI for real-time coverage from the camera to my phone and this interferes with the Rexing CarPlay adapter. They both initially connect via Bluetooth and then via WIFI and it confuses my phone. So, I just had to adjust the dashcam to record to the card and download clips when the radio and CarPlay adapter are powered off.

Started using a usb cable and when that went out, used a wireless dongle from another brand. That didn't last long either. It would connect and disconnect making it very frustrating and the initial set up was a nightmare. Went back to a cable and after constantly changing them out decided to see if this Rexing would do the trick. So far, it's been outstanding. Set up was a breeze, didn't even need to look up any videos. Set up both IOS and Android because I have both phones. Interface on both was the same but realized you can't easily switch back and forth. So I decided to stick with my android. There is very little lag unlike the last wireless dongle I had. I do recommend that you keep your phone stationary on a holder while driving or the gps goes kinda all over the place with the map.

Got CPW-42 for me before and love it. So my wife required one as well. I don't know why Toyota and Lexus are so conservative so that their 202x cars still have to use a cable with carplay. However, Rexing products help cut the cable.

This is probably the best wireless adapter for Android Auto that I have used (I don't have an iPhone currently, so I wasn't able to test CarPlay). Audio playback is smooth, my phone connects quickly, and it mounts very nicely. I like that it is not a dongle on the end of a short cable and instead mounts flush in the console. I ran into one issue, but I don't know if this is something Rexing could even work around as I suspect it was my vehicle causing this. I tested in a 2020 Subaru Forester and it immediately detected this as a CarPlay device. There was no option to switch to Android Auto. The workaround that I found was to connect it to a simple USB power source, pair my Android phone to it via Bluetooth, and then connect it to the car's AA USB port. Then, when my phone connected, it detected it as an Android Auto and launched AA on the infotainment. The range is VERY good. In fact, because the AA port is always powered in the Forester even when the vehicle is off, my phone will still connect to it anytime I get within 10 feet. That gets a little annoying, but that's an issue with the car, not this adapter.

The Rexing CPW-52 Wireless CarPlay & Android Auto Adapter is a game changer. Super easy plug-and-play setup, connects quickly, and makes driving so much more convenient without dealing with cables. Wireless CarPlay/Android Auto runs smooth with minimal lag, and it auto-connects every time I start the car. Definitely worth it if you want a clean, hassle-free upgrade!

I have been using CarPlay in my 2016 Honda Civic, and it works very well. Initially, I connected my phone directly with a cable; however, after several months of use, the cables frequently malfunctioned. As a result, I decided to switch to a wireless CarPlay adapter. The setup was simple—just plug it in—and the connection has been reliable both while driving and when parked. The adapter itself is compact with a sleek design. The product arrived well packaged and included clear instructions. Since this is my second wireless adapter, I did not need to reference the instructions. Previously, I purchased a low-cost adapter while traveling in China, which unfortunately melted due to sun exposure (I live in California). That experience made me hesitant to try another one. However, seeing that this adapter is manufactured by Rexing gave me confidence. I own a Rexing dash camera and have consistently found their products to be high quality and reliable. Overall, I am very satisfied with this wireless CarPlay adapter. It performs well, is well-designed, and comes from a reputable brand. I would recommend it as a useful and affordable gadget.

This links to my phone quickly and is so much easier than having to plug my phone in every time I get in my vehicle. The setup was simple and the design of the product is nice as well. I can recommend this to anyone without wireless CarPlay in their vehicle.

The Rexing CPW-52 is a plug-and-play adapter that enables factory-wired Apple CarPlay/Android Auto Vehicles to connect to your device without messing around with cables and wires. This unit makes it possible to transmit your device's signal and use CarPlay/Android Auto wirelessly. It supports iOS 10+ and Android 11+. You can use voice commands, navigation, etc without any cables in your way. Initial setup is pretty easy, just plug it into a USB port and it comes with USB Type-C to A and Type-C to C cables. Once plugged into a USB Port, just pair it using Bluetooth and you are set to go!
I’m very happy with this product. I had been using an older, slightly larger Rexing model for a long time and was already satisfied with it, but the one I purchased this time is even better. It connects much faster than the previous one, and its much smaller size makes it even more satisfying to use. I would 100% recommend it to anyone who is struggling with connecting an Android phone in their vehicle. It is very compact, extremely easy to connect, and feels like an essential item for safer driving.

The Rexing CPW-52 is a wireless adapter that eliminates the need for phone cords in the car. It plugs into the USB port and automatically connects my phone to the dashboard as soon as the engine starts. This allows me to start music and navigation hands-free while the kids are getting settled. The connection is stable, so songs don't cut out, and the console stays clear of tangled wires. It is a practical tool for streamlining school runs and family trips.

I have Android auto and carplay in all of my cars but always have to plug my phone in to use it. I never thought going Wireless would be that big a deal but I love it. This is so simple to install it's just like pairing a new set of earpods or any other Bluetooth device. I just jump in my car start it and go it remembers everything... where I was for directions audio all of it. The connection is FAST, completely seamless and works perfectly. I'm going to have to buy three or four more of these so all my cars are well equipped. Added bonus is it's less wear and tear on the charge port on your phone one less cable to worry about or to see laying about your car. You don't even have to take your phone out of your pocket or your purse. I wish I could post a video here of how seamless it works but they only allow pictures. Once I have all my cars equipped I'm thinking about buying a few for the family to have in their vehicles. Highly recommended works fantastic.

Really happy with this adapter—it’s a simple upgrade that makes daily driving easier. Setup was quick, and now it connects automatically every time I start the car. No more dealing with cables, which keeps things clean and hassle-free. The connection has been smooth for navigation, music, and calls. If you already have wired CarPlay or Android Auto, this is a great convenience upgrade.

Works great! I didnt feel any lag in touchscreen responsiveness, degradation in audio quality, or drop in performance. I did have to use a usb extendee due to the recessed design of my usb port in my car. It wasnt a problem for me, since i had one on hand, but its something to think about.

Overall, this thing is pretty solid and I get why people like it, mainly because it just works without needing a cable, which is really the whole point. Setup looks really simple, you plug it in and it connects to my phone pretty quickly most of the time without having to mess with settings. The connection is stable and doesn’t keep dropping like some of the cheaper adapters, which matters to me. It also seems to feel more like built-in wireless Android Auto which is a nice plus. There does seem to be a little bit of lag here and there but it doesn’t sound like a big issue unless I’m being super picky. Overall it seems like a reliable product that does what it’s supposed to without adding a bunch of extra features that usually end up causing problems.

Easy to install and ready to be used in couple of minutes. No other software needed and there are no glitches. No need to find a cable if you are drinking and suddenly need Google or apple maps
