I’ve had expensive systems in the past and the Ring system is just as good or better for a fraction of the price. The sensor works as expected and has two settings...one is less sensitive if you have small pets moving around. The sensors are quite easy to setup.

FIrst of all, I love the Ring security system. Its much less expensive than a system installed by, say ADT. The motion sensors work great. You can create zones or utilize it as an entry monitor. Easy to use, zero problems so far.

The installation and setup was simple: drill (or stick with included command strips) the bracket to the wall, pull the tab that sits on the battery off, and stick the detector on the bracket. The motion detector connected to the alarm base via the app within seconds, and was up and running. The motion detection has been excellent. It practically always catches motion when we walk through the space it monitors, but doesn’t seem to have trouble ignoring the cats. That said, just two issues to touch on. First, because it is so good at catching motion I worry the battery may not last long. You can decrease the sensitivity but it still seems to note motion every time we enter the room. Second, and tangential to that issue, there is no turning it off. Even when the alarm is disarmed the app still shows it is recording motion events. This makes me slightly disappointed as I figure it will continue draining the battery when we have no need for it to be monitoring. Overall very happy with it and I will continue to be so unless we end up constantly needing new batteries.

They do what they are supposed to. No false alarms. Triggers when movement. The sensors are not very sensitive. I have found that the range is not as wide as other motion sensors that I was previously familiar with. I needed 2 so the two-pack was relevant albeit no discount benefit for buying the multi-pack.

Great, very sensitive battery-powered units. Bought them on sale, and very happy with the quality and ease of setup.

These detectors are easy to install and work great. The Ring system is well designed so adding sensors to the system is easy. I’ve installed a motion detector in our main living area instead of using 8 window (contact) sensors. It seems to work fine, but it seems to trigger at about 15 feet, so it may not be ideal for this room. The system has been working now for about 6 weeks and the batteries show as fully charged, so I expect about a year of use.

Works well. Installation is easy. These motion sensors can be installed using the double stick tape, or screws, both supplied by manufacturer. However the double stick tape is not reuseable, if ditached from its surface its mounted on, and can be dislodged easily by any small impact, and there is only one supplied per sensor. They sometimes go off line for no apparent reason, app based instructions require some searching and telepahy to figure out how to reset them

The Ring System is a DYI system that is pretty easy to install. If you have basic handyman skills, you should be done in no time. The monitoring service is inexpensive. I have many systems installed on my properties but think I will be using Ring from now on. The app allows me to Arm and Disarm the alarm and offers a lot of options for setting up users. Only drawback is that you need an Internet connection, which is a monthly cost from your service provider. I use it on my investment properties but, if this is for your own home, then you probably already have service, so it is no issue. It is simple and straightforward and I have to give credit to the support at Ring, they have been awesome.

Easy to install and the adhesive sticks well. Battery life is very good and sensors aren’t too big.

Simple to use and easy to set up. Not much to it. Just use the included adhesive or screws and put it where you need it and scan the QR code. That's it. Simple setup and the battery on this last! (I have not replace mine yet and it's more than a year!)

These motion sensors are just like the one included with the basic Ring alarm. They install easily and work quite well. You do have to have a Ring alarm to use these. Just in case anyone was wondering if you could use these on there own. You can mount these anywhere with the included sticky tape. Or use the included screws to secure them a bit more. I have mine secured with the tape and they haven't fallen down over the last few months. I also have one in my garage where it is quite hot and humid and the sensor still works without issue. I also have one just sitting on my fireplace mantle and it works perfectly without being noticed.

I added two of these to my Ring system, and they both have worked great. Easy setup, and the monitor well. Almost too well thus far, as they caught a plant leaf moving after the vent turned on! Talk about an exciting night!

Purchased to replace an existing system that was too expensive and prices being raised every year. Installation and set up was very easy. This works just as good as more expensive systems.

Despite the cost to purchase this dual pack, it syncs and works really well with the ring alarm system. It does it's job: sounds the alarm when triggered, sends a notification to your phone and a ring representative calls you right away when the alarm is triggered. I enjoy the ring ecosystem because it's monthly subscription is affordable and great perks ($10 a month for unlimited cameras, cloud storage for recordings, ring alarm professional monitoring/police dispatchment, extended lifetime warranty for all their products, etc)

Once you have the Ring system, these are plug and play. Just scan the code, pull the tab and they are up and running in a minute. Easy to install on a wall or shelf.

The motion detectors work as designed and when placed at the suggested 7-foot height do not seem to cause any false alarms, even with small pets in the house.

So far so good! Easy to install and integrates with our doorbell system. The monitoring price can't be beat, and we get to cut ties with Comcast! Yay!

for the money a good value relatively easy to set up and provides a great deal of motion detection coverage at a very low price.

Overall, the Ring setup is very easy to use. These detectors just plain work, which is refreshing.
