The Ring Doorbell works amazing. I’ve had zero issues with it since installing. The battery lasts anywhere from about 30 to 45 days, which is impressive, and it’s very easy to remove and recharge when needed. Video quality is clear, alerts are reliable, and setup was straightforward. Overall, it’s been a great addition to my home security and I highly recommend it.

Great product and great value.

So glad I got the ring doorbell! Already looking at expanding to the home security kit. The image is crystal clear and I appreciate being able to see in color at night or day. I also appreciate being able to tweak my motion detector settings and now have it just right. Also, I love having the hard wired and never having to worry about battery life. 5/5 would recommend. Get yours now while they're on sale during the holidays.

Take Great Video

I have this for almost a year now....notification is great...picture is great. Night Vision is great, but it is in Black and White. If you want night pictures in Color, use an LED Light Bulb Daylight....not the Bright White and Neutral White. Use LED Light Bulb Daylight. Check out the pictures ...you can see the difference of one without a light .... takes Black and White Picture and one with LED Light Bulb Daylight. If only our neighbor left their lights ON and used a Daylight LED Light Bulb.....

GREAT DOORBELL!!!

This was my first Ring Doorbell purchase. I wanted to add some security to my home, so I figured I’d try the Ring Wired Doorbell Pro. It adds a great sense of relief that I can monitor what is going on around my home when I’m away. I can adjust the fields so I’m not bothered when a car drives by, but I get a notification every time someone steps a foot anywhere in my front yard. I set another field that will detect when a package is left, and I have it set so that when someone presses the doorbell that it calls me. I LOVE THE RING DOORBELL PRO!!!

Easy set up. Clear video. It doesn’t work with our 40 year old indoor Westminster chimes so we will have to switch that out with something newer. It does chime on our phones.

Great camera. It has two way talk, night sight, and is easy to set up. There is a slight delay in picking up initial movement.

Hi BelindaJK.
We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience with us. We are pleased to read that you are enjoying your new Ring Wired Doorbell Plus! At Ring, every device and service we make is designed to help give Neighbors peace of mind inside, protection outside, and a connection to what’s happening in the neighborhood.
Delays are often related to wifi connection or mobile device variables. A delay of under six seconds is expected due to signal fluctuation. You can also adjust the motion settings in the Ring app. It is important to ensure that you have the proper motion settings in place for your environment. This camera uses adjustable motion detection and runs on passive infrared sensors. The system identifies visitors via a moving heat signature and sends a notification to your smart device when one is detected. You can adjust three preset motion zones and their distances under the "Motion Settings" tab on the device's page in the Ring app. Additionally, you can choose how often the camera checks for movement in those predefined zones via the "Motion Frequency" setting. If you find that your camera is missing some motions, please set the motion frequency to "Frequently."

Seems to not work well during summer.
BertoM Posted
Had it for almost a year and worked well at first. But during the summer it kept disconnecting. And would say that its not receiving power. And now during the fall and its much cooler its working perfectly again. Maybe it gets too hot im not sure.

Hi there, I'm glad to hear that your Video Doorbell Pro is working well again. It's possible that extreme heat could have negatively impacted the performance of your Doorbell Pro, particularly if your Doorbell is receiving a lot of direct sunlight throughout the day. The operating temperature range for the Doorbell Pro is -5°F to 120°F (-20.5°C to 48.5°C). If you have any other questions, feel free to check out the Ring Community https://community.ring.com/ to see what other neighbors are saying. Best, Ashley from Ring.

It’s ok but quality of images is grainy 20ft out
Bwatts Posted
I just had to replace my previous one after 12 years. Works good. Only complaint I have is the quality of the image from the front door to the mailbox. Approx 40 ft. Very grainy and not great quality to even make out clear facial recognition. Seems my other one was better quality and I believe it was the exact same model. Don’t understand why it’s less quality. Now I’m wishing I would have gotten the next model up.

Ring devices require high-speed internet to bring you crisp, clear video and audio. Poor network connectivity can affect the performance of your Ring device. We are happy to share some troubleshooting steps to help you diagnose and fix common video issues that you may experience with Ring doorbells and cameras. Ring devices with 1080p video require at least 1 Mbps upload and download speeds, though 2 Mbps is recommended for optimal performance. In addition to ensuring that you have sufficient wifi speeds, you will also want to check the signal strength of your device. A poor wifi signal can cause connectivity with your Ring device to be unreliable.
Check the Device Health section of your Ring application to ensure the device’s RSSI is within an acceptable range. The recommended range for optimal performance is 0 to -60 for the RSSI. Turn off your mobile device's cellular data and connect to the same wifi network as your Ring device. Open the Ring app. Tap the menu (☰). Tap “Devices.” Select your device. Trigger an event on your Ring device. This could mean pressing the button on a doorbell or activating the motion sensors on a camera. Answer the event and examine the resulting video.
We have listed some possible outcomes from this test here:
1. The footage is crisp and clear.
If your video appears good when next to the router, the issue may be caused by a disruption in between your router and your Ring device’s normal location. To fix this, try moving your device closer to the router or extending your wifi signal with a wifi extender like the Ring Chime Pro.
2. The footage is heavily pixelated.
If you’re seeing heavy pixilation, even next to the router, this may be due to slow wifi speeds.
