I absolutely loved this version of Robin Hood! Still the same old premise but a different take on location and the style of previous Robin Hood movies. This is one of my favorite all-time Robinhood versions! A must-see in a must-have for your collection! Full of action, suspense, Romance, fighting, strategy, and protecting the poor from the rich and greedy government!

This movie was filled with drama, suspends and thriller. It was very intertaining and will satisfy all movie goers including children. I’m very happy with my purchase, and will share it with all my friends, and associates. All the actress and actors did an excellent job in protraing their parts.

The movie is great and definitely worth watching. Unfortunately, my copy arrived with a disc loose and scratched. Plus, the steelbook was also dented on the front. Very disappointing when you collect steelbooks.

This movie was a lot better then I expected & the 4K version made the movie so much more enjoyable. Fast delivery as well

I purchased the 4k steelbook version of this movie blind. Not seeing a trailer or knowing much about the title othan it being about Robin Hood. Essentially, this is a retelling of the classic story of Robin Hood told in a fresh new way. Essentially it the origin story of the Hood. Following Robin of Loxley as he is drafted into war by the Sheriff of Nottingham. There he tries to stop a beheading that ultimately leads to the friendship of an enemy known as John. Together they fight to stop the war effort while running into the formerly known merry men and create a rebellion. The movie was action heavy with an interesting take on the tale. It feels like this was meant to start a series of films, but still ends at a satisfactory point. The movie looked great and sounded good on 4k. Well worth picking up.

Never been a big fan of Robin Hood so I had low expectations of this movie. It surprisingly surpassed all of them. Rented it from redbox first, then ordered the steelbook as soon as it was over. Nice twist on a classic story. You can tell the scenes which are clearly green screen or cgi, but the cast and acting are great and there is plenty of great action. This is not your typical RH movie, so even if you haven't like any of the past RH movies, this one may surprise you. Highly recommend.

Like other reviews have stated, this is not a classical take on the "Robin Hood" tale. It even makes it clear at the beginning of the movie. If you just watch the movie without ant preconceived ideas, I believe that you will enjoy this movie. The acting is great. The action sequences are great. There is both a bit of humor as well as romance. Overall, it is a very entertaining movie. As far as the picture quality, sound quality and special features are concerned, they are all excellent.

The visit by the Best Buy Geek Squad man to my home to set up and transfer data from my old CPU to my new CPU was outstanding, …….. However, my earlier attempts to talk to a human by the call 1 - 888 - BEST BUY number was a horrible experience of listening to music, ads,. delays, BEST BUY "corporate" needs to correct this disaster of very poor communication. As far as the Blu Ray of Robin Hood - I have not watched it yet.

The Robin Hood story has been told on TV and in multiple retakes at the movies. This maintains the essential idea of an incredible bowsman and fighter but provides a new take on the why and how he got there and depicts a more vulnerable and at times reluctant hero. The costumes and sets are both elaborate and beautiful. The action sequences well choreographed with appropriate touches of humor. The acting is balanced and good.

I grew up watching the classics of the Hood by Fairbanks, Disney Prince and Princess takes, Elwes, Costner and many others. Each version has brought a different perspective of this English folklore crusader. Egerton adds his charismatic signature to this beloved character who evolves through being on the warfront of the Crusades to escaping in trappings of the Sherwood Forest. Here’s to seeing more of his spin on Rob!

This is not a classical tale as this film depicts the tale of Robin Hood from a fresh perspective. Taron Egerton and Jamie Foxx lead the way to an entertaining movie with great action, bits of humor and romance. The timeline of movie was during the medieval era, the use of semi auto bow and molotov cocktails is a little far fetch. The action sequences are well put together to make an entertaining movie.

I have been blessed to see the original Errol Flynn Robin Hood, then the 2010 version with Russell Crowe, which were the two best of all time, and though this is not one of those 2, in its own way it is an Excellent Movie, that has a new story, twists, characters, some similar characters, but several different, and with action throughout it keeps you into it and was a pleasure to see...! Very fun to watch, and hope you can enjoy this as much as I did...

Ignore the semi technology here and just take it for what it is, a re-imagining of a classic tale with an actor that can pull some awesome action sequences. It's Robin Hood, nothing surprising in the story (although they did show Robin in the war and not to many films/shows have done that, it's typically starts when he gets home), but the action is pretty awesome.

I didn’t know what to expect with this movie, but I was encouraged that Jamie Fox was starring in it because he is a very good actor. I was pleasantly surprised that this movie exceeded my expectations being full of action, cinematic splendor, and a solid story line. Also the sound track is perfect for a high end home theater demo! I highly recommend this movie!

I'm not sure why this movie is getting such terrible reviews - I really enjoyed it. I think it's a great take on the story. I also enjoyed the Russell Crowe version though which nobody else seemed to like, so perhaps I'm just a sucker for robin hood stories.

Didn't know what to expect with yet another Robin Hood movie, but I will admit that I was happy with this movie. I really liked the actors and Robin Hood and John worked well together. Jamie Foxx surprised me and was very good in this movie. I recommend it to all and think you will love this version. Maid Marion is very, very hot in this movie, too. It all worked for me.

This was a total surprise after the terrible reviews it received. I loved it. Very exciting and never a dull moment. A very different look at the legend of Robin Hood! Extremely well acted and beautifully filmed. A must. Totally ignore the critics!

1st of all, I love all these great actors in this movie. 2nd, was greatly surprised at the somewhat 'modern' approach displayed. Generally, follows the idea of Robin Hood, with flashbacks to the violence of the Crusades; yet, with a new twist. Fast paced, interesting concept, still has a love theme. All had modern haircuts. Enjoyable.

This is a new take on the age old story of Robin Hood and, this is just the first in what I believe will be a series of movies (likely 3). It had a lot of action, the usual love story, a villain, a hero and of course, when you think the hero has conquered all, a new villain rises which is why this will be a series. Can't wait for the next movie!

For another Robin Hood movie, this was pretty good in terms of action and adventure. Better than the last two. Plot a bit convoluted for a simple story. Marian as an action figure suits the times and mores. Fox very good in his role, and barely recognizable. Great 4K, sound terrific.
