This item was a great inexpensive solutions. I have tons of streaming services available on my phone available did not want to purchase the ott set top boxes to watch on TV set. This alows me to stream on my phone and watch the picture from my TV screen with availablendppslways neccessary simple hdmi cable. Great buy.

It is a neat device but not really charge friendly with my samsung phone...it plays great as far as picture quality and sound...but it will overheat the phone during charging process...when you are viewing more then one movie or tv series...other than that...it is alright...but not for the price. Should be $20 instead of $40.00...get samsung mhl adapter much better...for the price...

Notice the phone battery barely maintains charge when using the cable and power supply watching a movie. The phone gets pretty hot and one time discharged to red zone even though the power adapter was plugged in. Has worked fine last few movies, hope it continues to work. Using on a Galaxy Mega 6.3.

This product is great, hooked it up to my phone (HTC m8) through my stereo and had surround sound and great picture. The only thing is that I recently upgraded my phone and it doesn't work with the Samsung S7 edge. Other than that, it worked awesome. So just make sure it will work with your phone.

I bought this to save 20 buck over the Samsung version, but this one did not let me charge my phone while using it. It worked fine for my sony tablet but not on my Samsung phone. If you are planning on using a Samsung product save yourself the trouble and spend the extra 20 on the Samsung hdmi adapter.

It does what it's meant to do without a problem. Only problem I came across is that some phones don't work with this. I thought this was what you needed to play any phone on a TV. But that's not the case. My fault though

Product is easy to use and works. It shows that my phone is charging, but the battery is being used up faster than the charge. I would opt for the cheaper version that doesn't charge the phone.

This adapter allows me to upload my android to HDMI TV. I can play video games on the large screen now and it looks great!

I purchased this on Thanksgiving Night with the intention of being able to stream Netflix, YouTube and a few other apps to my TV without the need for WiFi. This product was an openbox and was sitting together with a few of its returned comrades in the Madhouse Home Theater dept. I double-dutched back and forth between buying this product or the OEM Samsung version. $35 less and 3 as "open-box should have lit off the warning lights but I figured if it doesn't work no harm, no foul. First-off, if you are not a fan of clustered cords, stop right now and go wireless with Chromecast. If you don't have WiFi, then just get the Samsung version. This adapter definitely was like a hat or belt that one size fits most but not all. Never felt like it was attached securely or that there was a good connection. The cords are a cluster and overall it's just kind of cumbersome. Samsung version has correct connections for the products that are compatible..end of story. If you're going to be using something besides a Note3, it might work great, and if so congrats and make sure to get one of the open box deals to save $12. Sidebar: Employees on hand were amazing in assisting and handling the increased traffic flow.

The product was easy to set up and use.Down part is, it only works with S5 devices.

Works well with alot of phones bit not with the note 5 would have loved to keep it make sure you know it works with a mhl compatible tv and phone before you buy. Good price at best buy tho.

This product was really easy to use. It allows you to charge your phone as you watch movies, listen to music, face time, you tube, and other great things you normally would do with your phone; which shows bigger on the TV screen. The price is also very affordable.

If your screen is broken & you need to retrieve data this is a good product. If you're trying to watch movies, your patience will be tested. It would work great for up to 60 seconds then black out. Constantly flickering. At first I thought I had a defective product but after exchanging it for another one I had the same issues. I also tried several different video options & sites but never got a consistent good lasting picture.

I previously bought one of these, it did not come with a power source. Was having problems getting it to work with my samsung galaxy note 4.. If you have a Samsung use the adapter other wise it won't work properly. **doesn't work with note 2. Still need to play with it some more.

I do not have any problems with this device per se, but unfortunately, it just does not work with the Samsung S7 Edge. A label on the box says it doesn't work with the S6 but it didn't say anything about the S7. Apparently it is an old sticker and should say it doesn't work with S6 or S7.

I got this so that I can connect my tablet to my TV and it's great!!!!!! You do have to watch it though, bc it gets hot sometimes but other than that so easy to set up and use.

The picture is great from this to my TV. Once connected the TV remote can start the videos on the phone. I like that it has a charging adapter so the phone battery doesn't run down.

Probably a good product, just did not work for me. Found out it would not work with my Galaxy S4 Active or Galaxy S6 Active when trying to hookup to my Sony Bravia TV.
