Q: where is your store locations?
A: Ffs Are you serious?
Q: Do I need Xbox to play games on this device?
A: No, you do not need a separate Xbox console to play games on the ROG Xbox Ally X, as it is a PC-based handheld that can install and run games directly from the Xbox app and other PC stores like Steam.
Q: Can another Xbox controller connect to this device?
A: Yes, the ROG Xbox Ally X supports additional Xbox controllers. You can connect them via Bluetooth or USB.
Q: Can you play supermarket simulator on this?
A: undefined
A: My brother says it only works on the cloud for him. It’s the same for nhl
A: Usually, with handheld gaming PCs, it's not very realistic to expect any AAA games to run at a locked 60 frames per second. Not to say there aren't any games that will, but inherently these devices are not designed with the best graphic performance at the top of the checklist. Portability and being able to run modern AAA games at all are priorities above framerates that bench higher than "playable/above payable."
A: It wont mirror your series x exactly, but it will utilize cross saves and whatnot. But not all titles are playable across both systems. Some games are pc only. So if anything, you will gain more access to more games you didnt have before. As far as sign in, yes, you can use your xbox sign in and your ea games sign in. Its what i do on my pc at home, and on my rog ally with the Z1E processor and my daughfers series x. Im using the same log in on all 3 devices.

Excited to experience mobile gaming with an Xbox product with the new ROG Xbox Ally. For the first time, I can take my Xbox experience on the go without settling for watered-down performance or awkward touch screen controls. The ergonomic control feels familiar, the grip, button layout, and overall feel of the device closely mirror an Xbox controller, which makes transitioning into mobile play incredibly natural. One of the biggest additions is its ability to run Windows 11. As someone who’s never been deeply immersed in the PC gaming world, this opens up a whole new doorway. Now, I can explore PC libraries, emulators, mods, and even productivity apps. The flexibility is honestly exciting and something I didn’t expect to appreciate this much. Cloud gaming is also a nice feature, especially since it helps save space on the device. Being able to stream games instead of installing them makes the device feel even more versatile. That said, latency can creep in depending on the connection, so it's not perfect for every situation or every game. I will mention that not everything is completely intuitive. Some of the extra buttons like the Command Center button, View button, and Library button can take a bit of getting used to. They don’t feel as immediately functional or natural as the standard control layout, so there’s a small learning curve. Additionally, troubleshooting and adjusting things through BIOS can feel intimidating at first, but are useful once you learn your way around it. There are also many ways to customize views, buttons, and default settings that are great but challenging. Overall, the ROG Xbox Ally is a game-changer for someone like me who’s rooted in the Xbox ecosystem but eager to explore what mobile and PC gaming have to offer. It’s powerful, flexible, and fun, exactly what I hoped a handheld Xbox experience would feel like.

I recently picked up the ROG Ally and was genuinely impressed. The 120Hz display makes games look stunning, and performance is consistently smooth with no overheating issues. It feels premium in hand, with responsive controls that make it ideal for gaming on the go or docked to a monitor. While the battery life could be better, the overall power and portability more than make up for it—this compact device is a serious gaming machine.

Almost perfect!!! I really didn’t want to spend the $1K for the X but the processing power isn’t what I thought it would be with the Z2a If the steam deck is the direct competitor, then I’d say get a steam deck instead or go for the X BUT with all that said, I’m very happy with this! It’s a fantastic little portable PC and it’s been so much fun playing my games and then picking up where I left off on my PC with steam! The newer games will run and test your system like NBA 2K26 runs so hot and at full 30 watts power But I just played a couple of hours of Sniper Elite V2 and Kingdom Hearts 2.5 at 1080p with 60 frames or more with ultra settings!!! Well KH might’ve been a little lower than ultra! But Sniper Elite ran around 90-100 FPS when I dropped the resolution to 720p and you don’t sacrifice a lot of resolution as it keeps a very well looking game on screen and the extra FPS looks gorgeous! But yeah, if you’re not looking for crazy power this system is fantastic! Oh and definitely get a SD card for more storage or buy a SSD and clone that! I’m gonna get at least a 2TB SSD to clone and leave in my system!
