Prior, I had a Roku stick that finally burned out after a couple of years of heavy use. I bought a another Roku stick, but got 2 overheat warnings within 3 days of ownership so I returned it. I went with Roku Express because if its low sale cost of $25 and the small size. I stuck with Roku because of the Spectrum app. With the included double sided tape, I mounted it under my 32" Samsung TV. I used the USB port behind the TV for power and used the included short HDMI cable to cleanly not have any wires showing. Also, I like being able to shut off the TV and having the Express be off with the TV instead of staying on. After almost a couple weeks, there has been no issues. The sales rep let me know that the Express has a slower processor than the other models and that you have to point the remote directly at it, but so far I do not notice much difference with my experience with Roku stick and the remote issue does not bother me at all. I am happy and hope it will last.

Purchased this updated express model because Apple TV/TV Plus is, for some reason, not available on my 3 y/o 4K TV with Roku and a 3 y/o express device and also because I wanna be able to see the above app's contents on my TV sets without having to plug in my iPhones, iPads or MacBook Pro...and Lord knows I ain't gonna spend on the overpriced Apple TV box. I must say this doesn't disappoint for the above reason and also because this feels a lot snappier and produces better picture than my old express device. Setup is as easy as ever without any hiccups. Definitely highly recommended for cord cutters, future cord cutters and those like me who have all their TV/movie entertainment online.

With my new Roku Express, I was able to turn my Dad's 10 year old Samsung into a Smart TV---it's a fantastic device, quite easy to install and a very economical investment that has exceeded my expectations. Thank you Best Buy!

Love it easy to use and understand. It was very easy to set up download your apps it was very easy to stick the Roku to the bottom of my TV it came with it adhesive you can put it anywhere you like but I chose the bottom of my TV overall it's a great product is a good upgrade. It was so nice.

Perfect for my son's tv! Has all the apps that are popular and if you want to add another you just search n add it. Glad I got it, n it took 2 minutes to connect it. Also the sign in n set up was very easy. It's really small n cute, so it take up a lot of space.

This really is all ya need for a bedroom or garage TV. Spectrum has a built in app on this little device which saves $12 a month on renting a cable box. Also has IHeartRadio so I use it for background music in the garage / patio. Money well spent!

I have an older Sony TV which had built-in streaming apps. However, I recently discovered that the Hulu app is no longer supported on my TV. So I was looking for a device that would let me continue to watch Hulu. While walking around at Best Buy, I saw the Roku display and found the Roku Express on sale for $25. I figured it was worth a try. Now, I can watch Hulu again, plus it has many other streaming services. There is also the Roku channel which has lots of good stuff to watch, as well. I was so happy with my Roku Express that I even went back and bought a second one to use with an older TV in another room that never had any built-in streaming apps.

Love these things always have. They make streaming your favorite shows through your favorite provider a blast. I have smart tvs and still have these hooked to everyone of them. And it can make any non smart tv smart hypothetically.

This is a great, inexpensive streaming media player. Good choice for non-smart TVs. The applications are fast and responsive, and quick to load. The Roku Channel offers lots of good free content to watch.

This is my second Roku streaming stick but the first of the express version that I have purchased. This Roku express will be used in a guest bedroom and it will work well for this purpose but as a primary tv device in the home I would opt for the next level Roku streaming stick because the express has a very basic remote- no power button & no volume control.

I can’t believe I waited so long to convert from DIRECTV!! East to install (64 y.o. Female), did it myself. You don’t need a smart tv. This makes your tv ‘smart’. Great selection of channels and I’m saving a ton of money!!

Excellent product. Does everything it advertises. Easy to setup and use. Remote power the tv and controls television volume.

Very simple to set up and adding steaming apps. You can even use it to mirror screen from samsung Galaxy S10+ smartphone.

Switched to hulu for cable shows these things are great to stream. Netflix hulu and more very happy have 6 of them in my house.

I have bought several of the Roku Express over the months to escape the charges of the cable company for their cable box. You will still need the initial hook-up to cable, but you do not need their box. I am delighted in all the FREE movies and shows that are now at my finger tips. There are many features to this little gem that gain favor with the viewer.

Love the Roku Express, own two now and all the family loves all their favorite Apps. Getting another one soon for my guest room, so my guest can connect their own apps.

So for some reason, we keep having to re-sign in to apps on this unit. Our older Roku in another area of the house does not have this issue. At first I thought it was due to an update or a power surge, but now I am at a loss. It’s time consuming and annoying to not be able to enjoy our services when prompted. The receiver is compact which I like. The included double-sided tape has not survived the first two months of use- it consistently falls down- and needs replaced. Overall, it has been a joy to have in our area. We are just dealing with some consistent kinks after the initial set
