I've always been wary with PC games getting ported to a video game console. Mouse controls don't always translate well onto a controller. Not so the case with RollerCoaster Tycoon Classic. Yes, it still uses a mouse pointer, but the pointer moves smoothly across the screen. It never misclicks, as I have seen with so many PC games ported to video game console. This game is well aware of the most common controls needed that they are mapped to simple and easy button controls. My only complaint is that there is no undo button. It is technically playable with touchscreen controls, but you'll find it easier to play with a controller, as your fingers might be too big to touch with pinpoint accuracy. I was more impressed with this game than I thought.

Dont let the title fool you. I play this to help me fall asleep because its honestly quite relaxing to play. Its hard for me to recommend this for children as financial knowledge does help you manage the money of the theme parks, but its a great game for both men and woman to enjoy. Plus a proper blast form the past is always nice when its made well. Also can't go wrong with the price. If you like games like SimCity I'd highly recommend this classic!

The one that started it all… or at least is the most remembered. This is Roller Coaster Tycoon 1 & 2 and you don’t need a PC to play. Remake the deifying rides where the riders go air born only to land safely… or not.

I love that they kept this game exactly the same as the original. Really brings me back to my childhood. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who loved the orignal game!

I used to play this game when it was on the PC only. I own the orignal discs for this. This port is a great version of the classic game. It now has touch screen support. It runs well. It is exactly what I remember.

Fun throw-back for those who played the original games. Pros: All expansions packs included it seems No slow down like the original Fun for those who like the genre Cons: Barely any graphic improvements Controls are a bit clumsy

Truly brought me back to the good old days. Controls are a bit funky need to play with it but once you get used to it not bad one thing I don’t like is it doesn’t seem like there are too many options with creating the pathways with different handrails.

I'm a 36 yo who used to play Roller Coaster Tycoon on a PC when it first came out. The nostalgia blew my hair back! The game is essentially the same just with different controls. My 6yo and 8yo love it too!

Just like playing on the computer, but not able to zoom in. Overall it’s a fun game.

Excellent remake of a classic game. I was looking for a similar remake to Roller Coaster Tycoon that felt like the original Xbox release and this one is better in every way. The controls are perfectly optimized for the Switch. The scenarios that were added to this release makes the replayability even higher than the original release back on PC.

if you like sim managament style games , this game is highly recommended.

My son told me not to get this for him at first. Now all he talks about is this game. Really great and takes him away from social games minimizing his exposure to strangers.
