This version is a remake of the telenovela shown in the 1960's. Barbara Mori does an excellent portrayal of the scandalous character Rubi. The other actors also perform their roles outstandingly well. The story is a classic one, and I would recommend this telenovela to anyone who wants to see a really good story. This telenovela well deserves to be the #1 rated telenovela of all time, and this is based on worldwide viewership. Call your friends over, grab a big bowl of popcorn, unplug your phone(s), sit back, and enjoy the best telenovela ever.
