It has been such a fun and engaging addition to our home. Standing at 15.8 inches in height, it’s the perfect size for kids to interact with comfortably without feeling bulky. What really stands out are its diverse functions—from dancing and talking to interactive STEM learning features, it keeps my kids entertained while also encouraging curiosity and creativity. I also love that it offers multiple control methods, making it easy for both younger kids and older ones to operate, whether they prefer using a remote or other controls.

I purchased this robot as a gift for my daughter to use in her classroom. She is a primary teacher with a stem background. I am a retired technology coordinator with 32 years in teaching in Milwaukee and am still excited about new techie stuff. I thought this would be challenging for her kids to try all the different science related skills that come with a toy of this type. Wow! when I started my career we had to teach programming languages like basic, logo, and programs like Oregon Trail! (Looking back "Kind of boring"). This robot will find the specific kid that really buys into taking technology to the next level. The kind of kid that just turns it on an experiments. Skip the manual!. I must admit after playing with it it will be kind of hard to part with it. The ability to program the actions of the robot can make kids that are a little older also buy into it and gain the logic behind programming.

The package arrived promptly and notably packed well enough to tolerate shipping. My grandson who just turned 6 took to his bot immediately learning its functions moving room to room making it perform for the family. Dancing and figuring out that he could feed the baby and dog were the first things that that came to his mind. We had an entertaining playtime and he didn't want to stop when it was time to go home. Luckily I have mostly solid floors where it works best, I wouldn't recommend using it on a tabletop for fear of it falling. I learned this the hard way. My son says he is playing with his bot most days and finding new things about it while dreaming what else he can make it do to serve and entertain everybody. This is a great interactive toy to encourage learning disguised as play,

The robot moves surprisingly well for something that looks like it belongs in a discount sci-fi movie. The dance moves aren’t exactly professional-level choreography, but they’re fun enough to keep you watching longer than you expected. It’s the kind of thing that starts as “I’ll try it for a minute” and somehow turns into ten minutes of pressing buttons just to see what else it can do. The music feature is decent. It’s not going to replace your phone or a real speaker unless your standards are… flexible, but it’s loud enough and entertaining, especially paired with the dancing. The lights and sounds together give it a lot more personality than you’d expect from a chunk of plastic.The remote control is simple and easy to use, which is great because nobody wants to read a manual just to make a robot wiggle. Controls feel responsive, and it doesn’t take long to figure out how to get it moving. Overall, it’s a fun, slightly ridiculous toy that does exactly what it promises: dances, plays music, and keeps you entertained longer than it probably should. Not life-changing, but definitely a good time.

Damm what an amazing toy it is! The kid loved it and played with it all the time. Love the way it walks, and the quality is great(kid dropped it accidentally, but still good in shape). The golden colour is also classy, and the flashing light gives it a charm. 100% recommended for your little one.

This pink robot entered the house and immediately developed the confidence of a middle manager with a Bluetooth headset. It talks nonstop, spins around the carpet like it owns property here, and dances with the energy of somebody three iced coffees deep at 2 PM. The female voice is weirdly cheerful too. No hesitation. No anxiety. No existential collapse. Just pure robotic optimism while crashing directly into furniture at full speed. Honestly inspiring. The movements are actually smooth and funny. It waves its arms around like it’s hosting a fitness class nobody asked for and rolls across the room forcing everyone to acknowledge its existence. Kids absolutely love it because apparently tiny loud creatures with flashing lights are the pinnacle of entertainment. Scientists could’ve cured diseases but instead we made disco WALL-E. Priorities. The pink and purple colors make it look adorable while it aggressively patrols the living room floor. It’s surprisingly durable too, which is important because children interact with toys the same way raccoons interact with trash cans. 10/10. Tiny plastic diva. Would absolutely recommend if you want your home temporarily ruled by a dancing robot woman with unlimited confidence and no understanding of personal space.

The Ruko Robot 1088 was one of the best gifts I’ve purchased! It was an instant hit the moment it came out of the box. The robot is much larger than I expected,which made the excitement even bigger. It dances, tells stories, plays music, responds to voice commands,and can even be programmed to perform custom movements, making it both entertaining and educational. The battery life is impressive,the remote and app are easy to use, and the build quality feels sturdy enough to handle plenty of playtime. I also love that it encourages creativity and introduces kids to basic STEM concepts without feeling like a lesson. If you’re looking for a gift that keeps kids engaged long after the wrapping paper is gone, the Ruko 1088 is a fantastic choice. I would absolutely buy it again!

My son has loved playing with this robot. Thank goodnes it has rechargeable batteries. He is still learning everything it can do... voice commands.. voice recording...dance mode... etc.. So far it is holding up great considering all the moving parts...

This robot is great! Great interactions with kids. They enjoy the dancing and talking with the robot. Very easy to operate and the remote is very user friendly. The robot is very intuitive and makes playtime a blast.

I purchased this smart robot for my two grandkids but I had to try it out myself first. I am very impressed with the amount of built in technology, there are many ways to interact with it including asking it certain questions and it will respond or make up dance moves or play music on it. My grandkids have an older version of it but when they saw what this one can do they don’t even want to use that one anymore. They are having a ball with it, the only bad thing about it is that I will probably be buying one more so they stop fighting about whose turn it is. Ruko came up with a teak winner on this one.

The voice control is great . The downloadable app makes it also convenient . Got this as a gift for my cousin and he loves it . It’s pretty active most of the time and talks and moves and dances . Good selection of songs and music . Fun movements . Overall recommend .

My daughter had been wanting a remote control robot for a while and when we found this one we quickly purchased it. She was thrilled when she opened it. Then the fun began. We had to literally pry it out of her hands for the next week because it was so much fun. She seemed to catch on to the controls pretty quick (without reading the manual) and in no time has it playing music, dancing and moving around. When she finally fell asleep, I got my chance to play with it for a bit. I did read the manual and found it a lot of fun. 3 weeks later, it is still going strong and she still enjoys playing with it and has become quite adept at using it. Battery life is strong. Controls are quick to respond and intuitive (for kids at least).

Very cool and fun to okay with. My nephew loves it.
