Description: Limited heavyweight vinyl pressing remastered at legendary Abbey Road Studios using the Direct to Metal Mastering (DMM) audiophile copper plating process, all from original analogue masters. Rush's fourth album, 2112, first released in 1976, proved a breakthrough, highlighted by it's seven-part title suite - written by Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson, with lyrics by Neil Peart - recounting a dystopian story set in the year 2112. It came in at #2 on Rolling Stone's list of 'Your Favorite Prog Rock Albums of All Time.' Most Rush fans consider it the band's definitive recording and it has sold over 3 million albums in the U.S., going triple-platinum. Album Tracks 1. 2112 Overture 2. The Temples Of Syrinx 3. Discovery 4. Presentation 5. Oracle The Dream 6. Soliloquy 7. Grand Finale 1. A Passage To Bangkok 2. The Twilight Zone 3. Lessons 4. Tears 5. Something For Nothing

Should you buy it? Just do it!
Rush fans know this to be one of the finest concept albums ever recorded. This 200 gram digitally remastered vinyl is a heavyweight hitter. Don't let the "digitally remastered" fool you. This is analog sound for the purists. The album jacket lyrics are a plus. It's nice to see Best Buy bringing the vinyl back into the stores. I would like to see the vinyl availability expanded in store. Shopping for music is fun again. Thanks Best Buy!

Sounds SO nice!
The music doesn't need to be rated...it's Rush 2112! Musically the album sounds so much better than digital...no compression, has that warm sound so missed by people who grew up in the vinyl days. The disc quality is very high, no pops, tics, and it tracks perfectly. The album jacket brings me back to the good ol' days when admiring the jackets was half the fun of buying a new album. If you're a Rush fan...or even just a vinyl fan...buy this, it is essential!

Super impressed with this album.
I was never a really big rush fan. I always appreciated their music but never got into it. Sitting down and listening to this album and really taking it in has given me a whole new perspective

Rush at its finest.
Those who listened to 2112 back when it came out never forgot it. Having it come out on vinyl again is a blessing for us. There's no need to discuss the musical content. The vinyl album here looks like the original and sounds stunning. As in perfect, as in it'll bring you back in time, as in like you remember it. Rush fans buy this album!
