The photos of this case seem to show a hard shell, but this case is in fact more of a firm rubber case. Installation is fairly easy and quick. Seems like it will do the job.

The case is exactly what you pay for. It also covers the back entirely. I bought a color that wasn't my favorite, because it was a good deal, but thanks to the case it looks like just a sleek black phone.
