Sturdy for drops, but ring broke off in 4 months

Had the case 4 months. I like the look of the case, and it is good for protection for my Pixel. The ring on the back was great as a stand and finger brace. But today it broke off when i went to use it. I don't overuse it or crank hard on it. Both sides snapped off at the metal. For the price it should last more than 120 days. Disappointed.

Case is average. The flipper on the back lost paint after a couple weeks and becomes super loose with not much use. The back of the case is also a bit bulky. Going to get a different case and cut my losses.
