Classic title with better graphics and thousands more options of style and grace!

This game is getting ridiculed with bad reviews and I must say it's not fair at all. Saints Row has never been a critical acclaimed game maybe other than the second one. But after 3 and 4, people should not be surprised with how this reboot came about. Yes, it's silly and sometimes the dialogue can be "cringe". But that doesn't take away from how fun the game can be. The gameplay is awesome and fun whether you're playing by yourself or co-op. The customization is also limitless; you want to look like Shaggy, Homer Simpson or The Rock? Well, look no further those are in the community creations which you can download at anytime. Want to feel like a major crime boss? No problem, you can take over parts of the city that belong to rival groups. And on top of all of this, the game doesn't look that bad graphically. It is very cartoon like but that's always been like this since the beginning so it's staying true to the series. All of this to me outweighed the cons such as glitches but that's nothing a patch can't fix. I will say if you're a fan of saints row, I highly recommend this for you. if you're looking for a fun game to play with your friends or family, I recommend this as well!

For those complaining about gun play, driving mechanics, physics etc understand Saints Row has never been groundbreaking in any of those departments. I don't understand the hate for this game, it's literally just another installment to the series. Did it need a reboot? No. Could it have spent more time in development? Yes. It plays it safe by sticking to the same formula SR3 offered so don't go into it thinking it'll be a trip down Stillwater because those days are gone. This is what you can expect now from a SR title. Get over it. Stop following trends, have an opinion of your own and stop bashing everything just because you have a keyboard in front of you The game overall isn't bad. Bugs are hit or miss with some just being silly others messing with the actual camera or weapon wheel. Characters in this game are for the most part believable in terms of chemistry. Their motives obviously being over the top to tell a story or get you to the main event. I've liked every mission since “The Forge” so far. Some chapters are short but I have yet to beat the game. I'm leaving this with four stars for the bugs (I'm sure it'll be fine after patches) but I know these glitches won't prevent me from completing the story.

SR3 is still the pinnacle for Saint's Row for me. 4 was too over the top with the flying and the super powers and aliens etc, but I LOVED 3. This one is a maybe just a step under 4 IMHO. There are some clipping issue and physics issue that I am hoping get patched, there are some other strange issues (like can't draw a weapon or get into a car or do anything till you exit the game and come back in) but hopefully they will get patched. Gameplaywise, it's fun and has all the silly jokes but I don't feel as connected to it as I did with SR3.

Dialogue and characters are cringey. Too many "woke-isms" that make interactions uncomfortable. Game is also a buggy mess. Core mechanics like aiming and steering have many issues that should have never cleared their QA. Freezing and crashing constantly. It is embarrassing the game released in this state. Art direction is good though, for what it is worth.

This game is not as bad as people say just wish they had cheat codes. I actually loved this game the missions are good and the graphics are amazing.

Very fun game. Does not deserve all the hate. Played at launch and enjoyed it thoroughly enough to platinum. Its a mindless fun open world action game in a beautiful new setting.

Gave it 4/5 Stars because graphically it could be better. I’ve played and enjoyed every Saints Row game so I decided to buy the reboot. I’d you’re looking for a fun and not so serious take on GTA this would be your game. It’s definitely mindless fun and will hold you over until GTA 6 comes out. Yes, there are still some bugs and clipping issues but overall a fun game.

Great game. Better then I thought. Love the fact that it came with a free saints row three DLC.

Great game , good graphics my kids enjoy playing this game

The game is pretty okay and fun as a Saints Row fan just wished they kept the or brought back the original/ classic characters from previous games. Plus im waiting on the first DLC drop.

Got this due it being on sale, gameplay is the best it's been in years. Story however could use a lot of work. Giving it 4 due to the gameplay improvements driving more specifically.

To start with, yes this game has more bugs than an antfarm! However all the hate this game has gotten is way over blown, the game is fun and thats what saints row was always about fun with huge explosions and gun battles.i enjoyed it.

Saints Row has always been a crazy game, and this one is no different. There’s plenty of activities to do, customization and a good story. Some bugs to iron out will make it even better.

Everyone is out here jumping in on reviews first and not even giving games an honest try first anymore. Yeah even I was turned off by how different this was at first, but you know there was no recapturing the old games magic for what they were, this one is very much fun and fine and stands on its own, seriously if you are even a little curious give it a try and go in with the game and let it work off its own merits.

Writing and weapon variety aren't super creative but the graphics, gunplay and driving aren't bad at all. It's buggy, however.

The open world game of 2022. This is the only open world game I can play in 2022.

I love this game series just have to remember that it is a reboot so its not going to be the same as the last few games. In my opinion it is very enjoyable to play it only took me to the end of the first mission to know that i was going to like it
