A: Previous answer is wrong. California Prop. 65 does not cover microwaves. Warning has to be due to a chemical used in the device..
Q: Can this be installed in a ductless system? We have no outside vent installed in our kitchen.
A: That is how we mounted it. You have to unscrew the blower fan and rotate it so that it blows toward the duct that carries the exhaust toward the top front vents of the microwave which will vent back into the kitchen. Not hard at all, just read and follow the install instructions.
Q: Does this microwave have a light that illuminates the range top?
A: Yes there is a light for the cooking range below. It has a low/high setting
A: The minimum recommended height of the cabinet above the range to which the Microwave would be attached is 30", which would place the bottom of the ME16H702SES approximately 13" above the cook top. Thanks for the question, Ms. Samsung
Q: Does this unit come with the mounting hardware, e.g., the bracket, bolts, etc.?
A: Yes, the ME16H702SEB comes with the mounting hardware (including brackets and bolts), as well as templates, filters and instructions needed to install it. Thanks for your interest, Ms. Samsung
Q: is it hard wired or plug in
A: My microwave came with a plug.
A: Thanks for the question. The ME16H702SEW doesn't have a "zero-radius" hinge, so it would need approximately a 1/2" clearance on the side for the door to swing open. - Ms. Samsung
A: We had the same problem! Finally, we figured out that you have to take the vent looking panel off that's at the top when the door is open. The charcoal filter sits on a slant in the center section inside of there. Getting the panel on/off was kind of tricky because you have to work around the open door.
