does this one has dry cycle only feature?
Answered by SamsungHi Green, No, this Samsung dryer model does not have a dry cycle-only feature. The closest to a dry cycle only is the Baby Care cycle which is a downloadable cycle and accessible through the SmartThings app. The Baby Care cycle has three steps (Rinse>Dry>End). I have shared this model's user manual link. Please visit the link and turn to pages 31 and 56 for the Baby Care/Download Cycle information and how to operate the cycle. https://downloadcenter.samsung.com/content/UM/202308/20230809163709370/North_America_DW5000C_WEB_DW0003_English.pdf Should you have additional questions, please feel free to get back to us via the following options: 1. Does this unit preheat the water for washing? or rely on the hot water coming in?
Answered by SamsungHi there, No, the unit does not preheat the water for washing. The water temperature depends on the dishwasher cycle you are using. Please see the "cycle overview" section on pages 27-29 of the user's manual. The description for this model under system specs says it includes heated dry, but no it does not. I bought this dishwasher because it listed heated dry as being included. It's been installed in my kitchen and now I have a dishwasher full of wet dishes.
Answered by SamsungHi Brandy, Thank you for bringing this to our attention. While this model does not use a traditional exposed heating element for drying, it features AutoRelease Dry, which automatically opens the door near the end of the cycle to release steam and allow fresh air to circulate. It also uses Samsung's condensation drying system. To learn more about how the drying system works and the drying features available on this model, please visit: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshoot/TSG10007201/ We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience.
