I recently upgraded to the Samsung Odyssey G8 Ultra Wide OLED, and it’s hands-down the most impressive monitor I’ve ever used. The oled panel delivers deep blacks and vibrant colors that make games and movies feel incredibly immersive. The 175Hz refresh rate combined with near instant response times makes fast-paced gameplay buttery smooth perfect for shooters and racing games. The ultra-wide 34” curved display really pulls you in. Whether I’m gaming or multitasking, having that much screen space changes everything. It’s also surprisingly sleek for such a large monitor the slim bezels and premium design look fantastic on my desk. Setup was straightforward, and I appreciated the built-in smart TV features like streaming apps, which means I can use it without my PC on. If I had to nitpick, the brightness could be a little higher for certain HDR content, but it’s still one of the best displays I’ve ever seen. Overall, this monitor exceeded my expectations. If you want a high end ultra wide for both gaming and productivity, the Odyssey G8 OLED is worth every penny.

The moment it went on sale again, I didn’t hesitate—I bought it back and haven’t looked back since. The Samsung Odyssey G8 isn’t just a monitor; it’s an investment in quality, immersion, and pure enjoyment. If you’re tired of settling for less and want something that truly stands out in every way—design, performance, and features—this is the one to get. I’m so glad I gave it a second chance, and you won’t regret giving it a first.

I don’t know where to begin. This product is outstanding. It uses very easy to assemble use the stand that comes with it and even easy to mount to a wall if you choose. I love the Samsung hub and features. It is excellent for gameplay and workstation use. I love the fact it receives updates from Samsung. I also love the fact that it comes with a remote. You just have to see this thing in real life action to believe it. If there was anything negative I’d have to say at all the only thing would be that the main menu screen itself fits entirely in the screen as is the same with video games and Windows in general but if you want to use it to watch TV or stream video content whether it is being streamed on your PC or on the regular screen via any of the apps (YouTube, Hulu, Samsung TV, etc.) it will have the 2 bars on the sides and the video in the middle of the screen because most video content isn’t created to fit wide screen formats. But that’s not really Samsungs fault. It doesn’t look horrible. It’s just something to note before buying if you want to watch TV on it or use it to stream video content. It’s not really a big deal or a deal breaker. It’s just something you should be informed of because if not then you would assume that by the look of the hub at first glance that everything is going to fit in the screen exactly. Other than that, it is super awesome.

This is the first gaming monitor I’ve had and I have so far been impressed. Not only does this get up to 120hz but it also has speakers and built in Apps. A lot of monitors don’t offer all of that. I also really like the wide screen, which did take a bit of time to figure out to how to get the PS5 and monitor settings to allow it, but man it’s impressive.
