This monitor is honestly next-level for gaming. The OLED panel makes a huge difference—colors are insanely vibrant, blacks are truly black, and everything just looks way more alive compared to regular displays. The 240Hz refresh rate feels incredibly smooth, especially in fast-paced games, and the response time is basically instant. The 49” ultrawide is super immersive once you get used to it. It’s amazing for racing, open-world, and productivity, but some games don’t support the full resolution properly, so you might need tweaks. Text clarity can also be slightly worse than traditional monitors due to OLED subpixel layout, but it’s not a dealbreaker. Overall, if you want top-tier visuals and performance, this is one of the best monitors out there. Just make sure your setup can fully take advantage of it.

The picture quality on this monitor is absolutely stunning, with vibrant colors and excellent clarity. Despite its large size, gaming feels very smooth and incredibly immersive. The curve is perfectly balanced and really makes you feel like you are inside the game. On top of that, the overall design looks sleek and premium on the desk

I’ve always had high end computer monitors but nothing compares to the quality and performance of the G9, you feel immersed in the content you’re watching/playing with improved image quality, depth and performance.

Wow, what a case of mixed feelings. Purchased as a door buster for $900 to a company my Strix scar 18 5090. After about a week and alittle less then a dozen hdmi/display port /type c/connection variants I ended up returning it for the LG. Not to Mention the hours of YouTube / trial and error connection variations ive tried. Problems include: (1) absolutely inconsistent connection display / hdmi etc (2) Ridiculously slow and clunky interface. (3) SAMSUNG software makes it feel like going through 4 doors in a maze before you can click the simple. PC Input. (4) the light curvature R and size makes uncomfortable to use. Sitting about 7-10 feet away still Requires turning of your neck. (5) speakers are purely asthetic & decoration. (6) Connectivity with my Galxy 25U & S9 Ultra tab was so odd and complicated to get working I ended up ignoring it. (7) Packaging really feels cheap and lack of enough cables provided. Good points: (1) it's pretty. (2) Connectivity with Samsung ecosystem

Great buy and amazing monitor. You won’t regret buying this!!!!
Picked two of these up during the black friday. 2 for the price of 1 makes these 110% worth it. It took a little bit of time to adjust to how big they are, but now I don't see myself having anything smaller. The quality is insane, and the refresh rate is perfect for gaming.

I purchased the Samsung 49" Odyssey OLED G950 Curved Smart Gaming Monitor for my wife's demanding school work, and it has been an absolute triumph! The sheer immersion from the 49-inch, DQHD curved OLED display is incredible. She uses it for multitasking, having multiple documents, research tabs, and video conferencing open simultaneously without missing a beat—the 5120 x 1440 resolution and vibrant OLED colors make everything crystal clear. Even though it's packed with top-tier gaming specs like the 240Hz refresh rate and 0.03ms response time, it translates into a seamless and stress-free productivity setup. She absolutely loves this monitor. It's not just a tool; it's a centerpiece that has genuinely improved her workflow and enjoyment. In fact, she jokes about how much she loves it because it's so much better than the monitor I own. I can't argue with her—the contrast and speed on this thing are honestly next level. If you need the ultimate screen for productivity, entertainment, or, well... anything, this is it! Highly recommend!

My first impression of this monitor was awesome. Very good build quality and of course the Samsung brand name. My first 49" Ultra Wide monitor was an LG with the same performance specs 240hz etc etc but a non Oled. Almost 2 yrs with that one and no issues. Once i unboxed and set up the this monitor to my computer it was undoubtedly a beautiful picture. Here's where things went south concerning other features. This monitor has a smart hub which enables it to be a TV. I set up monitor on wifi and logged into my Samsung account at which time monitor did a firmware update about the same time. I read some reviews about this monitor and some were saying they were having issues with random screen timeouts and screen going black and having to power back on with the remote. I was hoping i wasn't part of that lottery pool. Well as fate would have it I also started experiencing this phenomenon as well. I proceeded into windows settings to check power options and all was normal, I set it to Game mode immediately in the monitors settings. Set monitor not to go to sleep in its own GUI. I should also note I have 3 other Samsung TV's in my home. After a few power off situations i realized my main TV remotes were able to power down my gaming monitor when they were shut off. This has happened many times and continues to do so. The other thing i had to change was to set computer to rest/sleep mode when PC shuts down otherwise you must use the remote to power back on every time you boot PC. So at the end of all my internet queries about this monitor and work around solutions not working i had an idea to log out of my Samsung account on the monitor and take the monitor off of my WIFI and turn off as many smart features as i could. (I should mention i did try to watch TV on it with the Pre loaded apps and live TV etc but being an Ultra wide it was not a good viewing experience being that monitor is 32:9 ratio). Now back to some success after these changes and monitor doesn't randomly shut off on its own. The only thing it continues to do that is annoying is that the monitors audio if muted will float around on the left side of the screen if you keep it muted, it must be on 0 or 1 so the muted speaker doesn't float around on you. On the other issue of any Samsung TV near by and using the remote on it will sometimes raise the volume on the monitor if your not careful and of course will power it down as well. I am not happy about these existing or remaining issues but dealing with it hoping for a firmware update in the future to solve these things. I haven't spent much time with HDR enabled etc etc. The monitor as is being an OLED is plenty nice viewing out of the box. I am sure i will tackle that soon to get even more out of this monitor in the not to distant future. In closing I would love to have this monitor without any smart features or a remote as I purchased this with the intent of using it on my PC. My PC specs are as follows: Asus Rog Maximus Z790 Hero, I9-13900k, 32gb DDR5 Gskill Trident Z5 system memory, Asus Rog Strix RTX 4090 OC edition, Rog ryujin 360 liquid cpu cooler, Rog Thor 1200w Platinum PSU, 3 Samsung 2tb 990 pro's for storage.Audio is Logitech z906 5.1 connected via optical cable to motherboard. Along either side of 49" monitor i have to inverted 24" monitors for the 3 monitor set up.

While it’s great to hear that you’re enjoying the OLED picture quality and overall performance of the G950 monitor, I’m sorry to hear of the difficulties you experienced with the Smart Hub features, remote interference, and power behavior.
If your SolarCell Remote is turning on nearby Samsung devices, it's due to its use of infrared signals, While the IR function cannot be paired to a specific Monitor, there is a helpful workaround. If both Monitors have been added to the SmartThings app on your mobile device or tablet, you can use the app’s remote control feature to control each Monitor individually. This method uses a direct Wi-Fi connection and helps avoid interference with other devices.
To set this up, open the SmartThings app, add your Monitors if you haven’t already, and use the in-app remote under each Monitor’s control panel.

Great monitor, got it on sale and haven’t been happier with a purchase. I got it for the size, makes working and multitasking so much easier. Plus the oled makes everything look amazing. Doesn’t do well with Mac + hdmi, so I had to get a usb-c to DP cable. Minor inconvenience

The quality of graphics for the monitor is fantastic! I use the monitor for both graphic design and gaming. If you want to be fully immersed in your gaming, this monitor is perfect. It also offers versatility if you switch from your paid subscriptions (Netflix, Hulu) and is great with PS5! Basically a tv and computer monitor. It is the second monitor! Especially with the space to view discord and play Honkai games. With League of Legends, it would be full screen gameplay, but you can see if your lane will get ganked by jungle LOL. I am so happy with this purchase and Best Buy is the best deal for this product. If you have a Samsung phone it’s the best comparable device but the monitor also offers an app to download and control anywhere else.

I've had OLED monitors since they came out. Started with a first gen LG OLED, swapped to a 2nd gen 27 in LG and then a 34 in LG ultrawide. One thing I have to complain about all the LG units I've had is that they have a matte coating which leaves them feeling dim. The Samsung panel on the g9 OLED is a QD OLED. Glossy Panel, even blacker blacks and more vibrant colors. Sure it's a lot more reflective, but if you don't have direct lighting on it, it's hardly a problem. On this model specifically I love the additional real estate for productivity since this doubles as my WFH monitor. Highly recommend, don't let the steep price tags dissuade you from OLED monitors, they are worth every cent.

I use this computer daily for work, and it has been incredibly efficient for multitasking. I can keep multiple pages and applications open at the same time and quickly switch between them without any lag, which really helps me stay organized and productive throughout the day. Navigating between tabs is smooth and intuitive, making it easy to access exactly what I need when I need it. One of my favorite features is the built-in speakers. The sound quality is surprisingly clear and well-balanced for a computer, whether I’m on work calls, watching videos, or listening to music while I work. Overall, this computer has been a reliable and enjoyable tool for my workflow, and it has significantly improved my day-to-day work experience

I got this and yes it a little clunky but honestly you just have to mess with the settings, very good in every way. The neo is big but not oled and this monitor is amazing.
