First and foremost...this 55" is a "beast!"; I had been in the market for a 4K tv for the longest time, in that time I have diligently researched all 4K tv's from 40" on up to 55". I came across this Samsung model and compared it to every other tv in its price range, screen size, & features on hand; and after careful consideration, I knew this was going to be my final decision. For the "price", "quality", and "feature-rich amenities", I was sold on this Samsung 55" inch set. I purchased this in February and I am still just as impressed as the day I bought it. If I had to complain about anything, it would be the generic-ish controller that came with such a beautiful tv, other then that let me "emphatically" suggest this model for your future 4K purchase.

Bought this as an upgrade to a TV I've had for 5 years. And the quality of the product is amazing and is more than I expected. For a smart TV I don't have to use any other equipment to watch Netflix, YouTube or Amazon prime video. And it was somewhat easy to program everything I needed to program. #5stars

For those looking for a very affordable midsized TV this is a great choice. Color and picture are exceptional for the price. 20x better than a 50” RCA that I bought for only $100 the prior year. SmartTV functions have worked excellent so far no issues. Very good speakers on the TV itself although I use a sound bar and woofer with it. Cons to be aware of are the fact that it has only 2 HDMI ports (I was able to make it work since the SmartTV replaced my Chromecast/Firestick) and it does not have a headphone jack.

Ok. I decided to hold off on the review until I had a chance to experience the TV. So here we go. It is a super fast responding television for the class. The smart features are very quick not laggy like the models before in this price range. The picture stays sharp, but there is an issue with the hdmi CEC. It does cause the tv to randomly reboot when a sound bar or controller is connected. It's not all the time it's usually on startup because the sound device will boot before the TV turns on. It's a bit of a head ache when you are trying to have a movie night and you just turned on the TV, but this is avoided by using analog or optical cable, but the sound is very low quality not being processed through the CEC, but all and all the TV is great if I can leave it on and not have to deal with powering on all my devices out of sync. BTW..The sound bar is also samsung..so it's strange this isn't better in-sync.

Great picture and sound! Very easy to setup and connect to Samsung account if you choose to do so. However, you will need a Samsung account to download additional apps.

Bought this TV as an upgrade from an older Samsung model. The picture is wonderful! However, I should add that viewing basic cable on this television does not result in the best image quality. Since we rely more on television subscriptions than actual cable, I should note that my husband and I found the smart TV option to be seriously lacking. We have gotten around this problems with a Xiomi Mi box that we were using with our older television. Other reviews are right to criticize the television sound (it's not that loud by itself). Once again, we found a way to resolve this shortcoming by using the sound system that we were using prior to purchasing the television. All in all, we are quite happy with the upgrade in image quality for the price. Samsung is always a solid choice!

This tv has all the great features that you expect from a smart tv in 2020. You can download multiple streaming services, and the interface is well laid out. I give this 3 stars because the tv constantly lags. I find myself battling the lag for minutes at a time. The controller also doesn’t seem to respond well with the tv either. Sometimes I would click a button ,and it would take seconds before it was relayed on the tv. Also the airplay is very hit or miss on this tv. I don’t think that’s the TVs fault, but I have a brand new iPad Pro and when I try to AirPlay YouTube it just doesn’t want to sometimes.

If you are looking for a smart tv with good picture quality, decent speed of apps and good sound this one is for you. I have been using the product for a couple of months now and I am very happy with the purchase. It has been a good decision to buy this product. If confused between this and Series 7 or 8 I would ask you to look into your requirements. If you have 200 bucks more to share just for a bit of better picture quality then you are most welcome else it is not worth it

Really nice tv for the price. Easy to setup. My only complaints so far is that on occasion, it seems to drop the WiFi connection forcing you to setup WiFi all over again. It does this randomly. WiFi is less than 5 feet away. Also wish the remote buttons were backlit. Remote is small and hard to see buttons at night. I have to turn on the light or use my flashlight on my phone to see what buttons to press.

Not only is the picture so amazing, but the fact the apps are ready for you to login to and start watching your shows is awesome! It’s so easy to use I don’t need my kids to give me a tutorial on which remote does what. It’s all integrated into one. I’m not a boomer but I still don’t know how to use the game consoles to change from one app to another. So I’m impressed with myself for navigating my new tv by myself. Thanks Samsung. I know you had me in mind when you designed this tv!

Love this tv! The clarity and color on this tv are both phenomenal! Connects easily with Apple TV as well as with the kids’ game system. Great purchase at a great price!

I’ve had this TV for about a month and really happy with it so far. The picture is pretty amazing and so clear. The price is what really sold me and it hasn’t disappointed yet. I have struggled a little bit navigating the menus, but it’s just a learning curve that I should get past.

I love this TV, the picture is better than real life, it is light weight and hangs on the wall easily.

This Samsung TV and stand are excellent quality for the money. The delivery, with Chris and team, were wonderful! They set up the stand and tv, brought extra hdmi cords and patiently showed me how to access various streaming services from the home screen. Highly recommend this TV, stand, and delivery service.

The picture quality and clarity is amazing. The price for this brand is unheard of! There were some unfortunate hiccups with delivery, but I am thrilled with the purchase.

This television is a good size for our room. The color is great. There are good clarity and depth definition. It sits nicely on top of our library table. We feel good about our choice and the price point.
