A: 39" YOU WOULD NOT RUN INTO THIS ISSUE IF SAMSUNG WOULD RETURN TO THE BETTER CENTER STAND.
A: Try turning OFF HDMI-CEC in the menus. it's called "Anynet+" on a Samsung. It's likely to be the only thing that can turn the tv back on, when it's supposed to stay off. This setting is located in: Settings > General > External Device Manager. Also check this setting, : Settings > General > Network > Expert Settings > Power On with Mobile, and turn the setting off. Try either or both of those, and see if it doesn't fix the issue with powering off/on.
A: Q60 lots of color but narrow viewing angle, slower refresh rate. Q70 in between. Q80 has terrific color, superior viewing angle, and faster refresh rate for sports. Hope this helps. Q80 is the only one comparable to my plasma that gave out.

A: Web site RTINGS.com. Lots of info about adjusting/calibrating all the models they evaluate, including the Samsung q80 series. Good site for 'how to' regardless of whether or not you agree with their reviews.
