Q: What is the distance between the foot supports. I can't find that online. I need to know if it will fit on my TV stand.

A: 39" YOU WOULD NOT RUN INTO THIS ISSUE IF SAMSUNG WOULD RETURN TO THE BETTER CENTER STAND.

Q: Anyone else with this or similar Samsung TV have trouble where the TV will turn itself back on? This typically happens within 5 seconds of turning it off, but had an instance the other night where at least 30 seconds elapsed. The remote batteries are new.

A: Try turning OFF HDMI-CEC in the menus. it's called "Anynet+" on a Samsung. It's likely to be the only thing that can turn the tv back on, when it's supposed to stay off. This setting is located in: Settings > General > External Device Manager. Also check this setting, : Settings > General > Network > Expert Settings > Power On with Mobile, and turn the setting off. Try either or both of those, and see if it doesn't fix the issue with powering off/on.

Q: What is the difference in the different models of the QLED Series, and why would this affect me as a consumer?

A: Q60 lots of color but narrow viewing angle, slower refresh rate. Q70 in between. Q80 has terrific color, superior viewing angle, and faster refresh rate for sports. Hope this helps. Q80 is the only one comparable to my plasma that gave out.

Q: How is the sound quality? Also, does the sound come out the bottom, back or sprayed out sideways from the back? Definitely not looking for something that is louder on the sides.

A: It's very even sound and very good quality for a TV it's better then last year I will say that I actually dont even use a soundbar but if your worried about sound then just get a soundbar and dont worry about it but yeah the TV speakers are great and again very even not more to the right or to the left it doesnt sound far away either it's very good for a tv

Q: What year model is this, 2018 or 2019?

A: I believe it is a 2019 model.

Q: I have read several review talking about how the q80 crushes blacks too much, sacrificing shadow detail and suppressing highlights. Is there a way to fix this in the settings, and does it then introduce more blooming as a result?

A: Web site RTINGS.com. Lots of info about adjusting/calibrating all the models they evaluate, including the Samsung q80 series. Good site for 'how to' regardless of whether or not you agree with their reviews.
