This TV has the brightest and clearest picture we have ever had in our home. The colors are absolutely brilliant which must be related to the mini LED's. I am shopping for another TV for our bedroom and would not hesitate to purchase one very similar to this model but smaller. We are avid sports fans and love the clarity provided during hockey games. The players and puck are so clear and easy to see it feels like you're sitting in the arena.

Visually pleasing. Exceptional picture quality. This Samsung 65 inch TV is budget friendly without compromising TV quality. No white film in the picture like some crystal TVs.

We’re sorry to hear you returned your QN70H. From what you’ve described, you may be referring to the Now Brief feature, which uses motion detection or voice commands to display useful information, such as weather and connected device status, while the TV screen is off.
For future reference, Now Brief can be disabled by pressing the 123/Quick Settings button on the remote, then navigating to Settings > All Settings > Advanced Features > Now Brief and switching off any enabled options.
