One thing to always keep in mind as you are shopping for your next TV is, while at the store you may notice a few differences but in your home, you're only looking at one TV! That said, I am replacing a 10 year old Samsung LN502A650 which treated me very well. I plugged it in and played my content and was often complimented on the quality of picture it produced regardless of what we were watching. I will say, i have a simple set up where I use an over the air antenna for live TV coupled with APPLE TV 4k for streaming services.. This TV is aesthetically pleasing and equally impressive when it comest to picture quality. I also have not had to play around with all the different picture settings to find the right one. The X900e was a very nice TV however here are a few reasons why it was returned after 4 weeks of viewing. I had to review several YouTube Videos to "calibrate" the TV and even after a few hours, the RED's in some movies looked like a BRIGHT orange. When watching NCAA the Syracuse Basketball team's uniform also looked NEON Orange. AUDIO-If you have a surround sound system and want the option to listen via the TV speakers, you have to manually go in and change the speaker setting on the X900e from "AUDIO" to "TV SPEAKERS." If you are watching TV and want to switch to your surround sound, you have to go in the tv menu and manually change it back to "Audio Speakers." With the Samsung, once i turn on my surround sound, it automatically detects and pushes out the DD sound. While I mostly use my Apple TV, the Android App store in the Sony is much better than the Samsung APPs. However the Android TV on the Sony would often freeze and become non responsive (known issue check out CNET review on x900e) and that just added to my frustrations. In summary, both TV's are great but for ME the Samsung was clearly the better choice. The image attached is an OTA image in a very bright room.

The picture and features are phenomenal. The only issues that I have found is that sometimes my connection gets disconnected or interrupted frequently from the remote to the tv... I'm not if its a bluetooth issue or what. But other than that, great purchase!

This seems to be a problem with Samsung TVs across their entire spectrum of TVs. I started with a 6000 series that I ended up filing a claim with Samsung for blotches of light on the screen. Samsung took that TV back after 2 months of phone calls and follow ups. Being a Samsung loyalist, I figured that that the problem would just be in their lower models, and bought a 9000 series. This TV not only has blotches of light on the screen, but also has vertical light banding. I'll be taking the steps to get this replaced with another TV, in the hopes that this is just some crazy coincidence. I've been to a few different forums about this topic, and the problem seems to be across the board. Not sure if they sell a TV that doesn't have this problem. This is the first time I wouldn't recommend a Samsung product to a friend.

This is my second Samsung TV I’m having issues with. The screen began to get vertical grey lines every 4 inches or so. Started since 6 months ago. (Just about 18 months of use) Unfortunately I didn’t purchase the extended warranty as or my previous TV I had some screen spot that spread like a web. It was wall mounted professionally and was not touched since. They said it was accidental or intentional damage . Samsung TV do hold a good reputation and I loved mine as long as it worked . The extended warranty being 1/4th cost if TV doesn’t make sense when the repairs are not 100% warranted . I’m staying away from Samsung going forward. Both my TVs were purchased when introduced and paid a premium purchase price ☹️

All my electronics are Samsung. Even kitchen appliances. The only negative reviews I’ve heard are about service, and I have never experienced that. This tv is above a huge stone fireplace, and it was light and easy to mount for such a large one. Picture is great without having had it calibrated. Had a bit of trouble syncing the sound bar but support walked us through it. Great purchase

The picture quality and high dynamic range are amazing. The one connect feature makes adding components and other devices easy and convenient.

This Samsung TV has a beautiful picture. The new HDR technology is very impressive. After I purchased the Samsung, I read about the "Magic Zoom" feature on the LG. Since my husband is very near-sighted, the magic zoom feature seemed to be the answer to his difficulty in reading sub-titles and program descriptions because they were too small for him to see comfortably. With the zoom/focus feature, you can move a virtual magnifying box to any portion of the screen that you want to magnify and keep it there until you are finished reading it. It is easily controlled from the remote. We returned the Samsung and switched to the LG model 65SJ9500. My husband is thrilled to have a virtual magnifying glass for the screen!

Great picture, great sound, easy to use, easy to download apps... but I had to hardwire it to my internet. The wireless function on it SUCKS. It would take too long to login, and it would randomly kick itself off. Some days it wouldn’t connect at all! I thought it was my WiFi at first, but I never had a problem with any other device. I got online and started to research the prob, and apparently it’s a common thing with these TVs. Way too much money to be having this problem!

We were looking for a new 4K HDR TV and saw this one on display. You won't believe the image on this TV. It is like looking out of a window. Simply. Amazing. Go see this TV and you'll see it's the best one in the store.

User-Friendly, Fast, Sleek, Efficient, Perfect size for the living room. I am in love with this T.V. Looking to buy a second one. I highly recommend buying this from best buy and using the points you accumulate to get the wall mount. Their delivery /installation services were excellent as well!

I tried the review from another buyer on here and took the advice to adjust settings to what Best Buy had and the Cinnamon cables and I was fully blown away. Great tv great uhd great hdr. Everything is good about this. I'm super stoked about this purchase. Best tv for the money.
