Great size and it fits perfectly above our 72 wide entertainment console. It’s an impressive picture. Working out just great for my family. The only thing I don’t like is that it seems to occasionally display a message saying it didn’t quite understand what I’m saying.... which is odd because we weren’t talking. It is obviously listening for voice commands and appears to be trying to interpret the sound from one of my surround sound speakers. I guess I need to invest some time and figure out how to make that stop. All in all, a great addition to the family room!

I had this TV installed by the Geek Squad along with a Samsung Sound Bar. They mounted hiding all the cables through the wall. The picture is great, easy to navigate and playing with the settings was user friendly. Extremely satisfied with this buy

Great picture and technology. Have all the streaming sites hooked up to it and an Xbox one x and Nintendo Switch. UHD movies on Disney+ is amazing. Really like the remote control. Best remote I’ve had in a TV. Watching this tv is like having your own movie theater. I used Geek Squad for the install due to the size and weight. If you’re thinking about this model...DO IT!

Awesome to watch games and movies and the color quality is extraordinary. It is expensive but still worth it.

Even after owning this TV for a year now, the quality and superiority of the picture still blows my mind. I had a 75” SONY high end that the screen went bad within a year of purchase. The quality was very impressive but still this Samsung is just slightly better. I’ll totally recommend this tv to anyone. So far so good, it as delivered what I expected and more.

This was an excellent buy, I purchased this TV as an open box for $1400 $1808 out the door with a 5-year Geek Squad protection plan and $65 off for my reward points. The picture quality is amazing on the television I also purchased the Samsung T510 sound bar and I feel as if I'm in the movies.

Colors! Colors! Colors! For being rated a mid range television, it certainly delivers everything us non TV raters look for in a television. Picture and clarity are awesome!

Awesome TV but realized a standard HI Speed HDMI cable would not work and had to by a 4k HDR Hi Speed HDMI cable to connect to my 4K Direct Tv Genie

Purchased a 82” Samsung QLED 70R and great deal for an open box fair condition TV. TV did not come with a remote or box. Only the TV, stands, and power cable. TV had no cometic imperfections. Not a bad deal at all.

The spectrum app is you can load onto screen means I can access on demand etc without a cable box in my living room. The resolution is pretty darn good but you know, for my eyes the smaller screens still seem higher resolution that my 82 inch monster - but I have a big room and smaller would seem compromised.

I love my new TV and it's beautiful huge 82" screen. Set up is very easy. Broadcast TV is very clear with great colors. HDR on Netflix and Amazon Prime looks outstanding. This is the best value per dollar. It's not the best TV out there but it IS darn good. I would buy again in a heartbeat. Very happy with this purchase. You can't go wrong with this one. Just buy it you won't be sorry.

I think my biggest concern when shopping for a TV was the darks. I’ve never really been a TV enthusiast, but over the years have grown a little annoyed that blacks on regular TV’s were grey and washed out. I couldn’t really see store display models in a dark room, so I took the word from spec/review sites, and spent a little extra on the Q70. So far I’m very pleased. When watching movies with black bars in a dark room, I really can’t see where the screen ends and wall begins. The color on this TV is also great. It is vivid but not overbearingly saturated. The TV gets very bright, even a little brighter than I’m comfortable with. The picture is smooth and fluid and I really can’t see how flagships could get much nicer. The UI is fairly fluid and very easy to use. The only con I can think of is that the TV (82”) was very heavy and wasn’t easy to get upstairs. (Best Buy delivery guys failed, so we had to do it ourselves.) If you dig a little deeper into the specs, the only major negative that these sites point out is the viewing angles. The way we have the TV set up, you walk into the room from the side. I can say that the viewing angles aren’t nearly as dramatic as I thought they’d be. Keep in mind that the closer these TV’s get to top of the line, the more they’re picked apart and dissected by die hard enthusiasts. There may be some small shift, but it’s barely noticeable to mostly everyone. I would easily recommend this TV.

This TV is HUGE but very thin. Bought it to replace our antiquated 62" Samsung and wow! What a difference in brightness and color. We did a ton of comparisons on all the current brands of televisions and found this Samsung to have the best picture, options and reviews. I particularly like the apps like the send tv sound to my phone so I can hear it with buds when I don't want to disturb or the play video from other devices. The remote is small and simple, however, there are so many apps it gets a little getting used to to navigate through them. We love the purchase!

Went in to get the 75” Samsung but husband decided to go with 82”. Thought it would be too big for living room but it fits space just fine. The depth and colors are truly amazing. The movie Avatar was on after installation and it was like sitting in a theater. Picture was unbelievable. Would recommend this TV to anyone. We had Geek Squad install and they hooked all of our components up. We already had a sound bar so sound is amazing. Wouldn’t hesitate to buy this TV.

Recently sold my 2018 75” Q7. Decided to upgrade in size to an 82” 2019 model. First purchased the Q70 thinking that it would be similar to last years Q7. This was a huge mistake, as the 2019 Q70 is inferior in nearly every way to last years Q7. The Q70 has a semi gloss screen (as opposed to a glossy screen), horrible reflection attributes (terrible for bright rooms), poor visibility for angled viewing, a less than stellar black point, with unequal distribution, and does not upscale nearly as well as the Q7 did (1080 looks horrible). In addition motion visibility was poor, and unless you plan on only streaming in 4K, or gaming, save your money and either wait until next year, or make the upgrade to the Q80. I exchanged the Q70, for the Q80, and couldn’t be happier that I did Trust me, it’s worth the extra money. The picture offers deep blacks, the screen basically swallows light (meaning minimal reflection), the viewing angle is great, sports look great in 1080, and streaming in 4K is amazing. I can’t really comment on the sound, as I have It connected to a Bose system. Another upside about this years QLED’s is that they have built in Apple TV, and Airplay. With the tap of a button, I can shoot images/videos from my iPhone onto my TV. Although the Q70 can do this, the Q7 couldn’t. You could previously do this through the Samsung app, but it’s horrible, and crashes pretty much every time I use It. This years models also come with remotes that have buttons designated for Netflix and Prime. It’s only a couple clicks to get to these apps anyway, but if you stream a lot, this is a nice shortcut. I mounted my 82” Q80 on the wall and it looks awesome. It’s a pretty big tv, so make sure that you’re at least 10-12 ft away from the screen when watching. I’d recommend getting the cheapest HMDI cables you can find. They all work the same, and expensive ones do not offer you a better picture. We are only a week away from college football, and I’m really happy that I have The Q80 all set up for the season.

Great, fully featured set with good colors and solid brightness. The set is great for general watching, movies, but shines in 4K. Full array with local dimming much improved over previous KS8000 that used edge lighting. Xbox in game mode is super bright and responsive. Finally, the size was the biggest draw. However, without the advantage of the picture quality the 82" would only emphasize image flaws. Recommended purchase.
