Purchased in-store and took a couple weeks to get delivered and installed. 4 months after purchase, the screen would only show a black box in the center with white on the sides. Of course, it was slightly outside of the return window at Best Buy. Samsung hired 3rd party support company to come out to repair…took a few business days. It’s not fun watching a $7K purchase get dismantled on your living room floor…and finding out that they couldn’t fix it and will need to order additional parts and wait another week or so to get repaired. To top it off, could have bought it for much lower this week at BB. This is my first Samsung tv. The matching soundbar sounded great and 4k/8k HDR video looked amazing too…although a lot of the 8k content on YouTube seems to get hung up and skip frames. Gaming also worked well, however, when on the tv homescreen, my PS5 would turn on randomly even when not engaging with the gaming hub. Overall, after the issues with the tv, I cannot recommend anyone else spend an insane amount of money to go through the lackluster experience. Considering the time spent trouble-shooting, texting with Samsung support (not in the US), and waiting to schedule appointments with 3rd party repair company, and missing work to be available for service appointment…this has become a much more expensive purchase than intended.

We appreciate you sharing your experience you went through to have your QN900C TV serviced, but I hope your TV is now performing as expected.
If your external devices turn on when your TV turns on, please disable Anynet+, as this controls external devices that are connected to the TV via an HDMI cable and will turn on/off when you turn the TV on/off. To disable, go to: Settings > All Settings > Connection > External Device Manager > Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC) = OFF.
Lastly, for optimal performance, please ensure you've got the latest firmware version installed. You can check this by going to: Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Software Update.
You may also want to further optimize performance with the self-diagnostic tool, which checks memory, frees up unused cached memory, and closes background apps. Go to: Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Device Care > Start Device Care

Wow, wow, wow... As advertised and reviewed by professionals and serious home theater fans like me. This TV delivers on all points. Style, Quality, and performance!! the cherry on top is 8k capabilities setting you up for the future. Went from a 78" 9000 series curve that was painful to replace and never realized what true deep blacks and depth of colors really meant. Simply put, Samunsung hit it out of the park with this one. Im set for the next 5-7 years :)

After seven months with the television I have been very pleased. Setup was amazing easy. Integration with Samsung sound bar was super smooth. This TV is super smart in recognizing everything attached. Samsung SmartTV is so So SO full of stuff. The picture and sound (combined synced with the sound bar) is fantastic. I have enjoyed everthing about this Television.

I love the tv. I was apprehensive about buying an 8K when movies, TV broadcasts and sports are currently in 4K. The 8K still has the best picture I have seen in comparison to the 4K. My previous TV was a Samsung 65” curve and it had a great picture or so I thought until I purchased the Samsung 8K. All I can say is WOW!

The best TV I've ever used. The borderless display is amazing. I got the 85 inch. I had the OLED S95D and returned it for this one. However I bought the TV open box. and it did not come with the Samsung one connect box. So I was not able to use the tv for months. Best Buy stores and managers refused to take any action even when in the open box notes it said it came with all accessories, specifically the one connect box. And it was missing the remote as well. I contacted Best Buy online and they sent a geek squad tech but he wasn't able to order the box. The TV was a paperweight for months. I had to keep scourging eBay everyday until I could get a one connect box used and paid out of my pocket for one. I think Best Buy should refund me for this.

11 months after purchasing the screen has large central vertical white bar (2/3 screen width) with a blue vertical bar on each side. In the background are shadows of what should be playing on the tv. Not what i expected for what i paid.
