Customer Ratings & Reviews

Worth every penny, works fast and was in nearly the same condition as brand new, just "opened box" if anything. No dead zones, no issues whatsoever. Would buy the 8TB if it was offered cheaper.

I received the drive to find that only 1tb was recognized. I checked my magician software, and indeed, it was showing up as 990 Pro 1tb Heatsink. I went ahead and checked the Serial Number, and it was different from the one on the label. Looks like someone switched the drives out when returning, and Best Buy never checked it. Now I got to return this drive, and they probably think that I did it. What a bad experience and waste of time.

This has been inside of my launch PS5 and has been running great. Plenty of storage for so many games. Of course it generates a bit of extra heat so just make sure you have cooling

I was hesitant to buy, as it a refurbished item. Wanted more storage for my PS5. Got it for a really great price, and it has been a great purchase so far. No issues. Runs games great. Transfer speeds have been pretty good also.

990 Pro is still one of the best nvme drives available. Unless you need a faster drive for a special use case, these drives are more than you'll need. As far as the 'geek squad recertified ' goes, I've bought many of these and they have all been brand new with just the box showing signs of wear or maybe an extra barcode sticker or two.

Got it open box and ya couldn’t tell it was even opened before- except for the box of course. I have been enjoying this it’s fast it holds all of my games mainly each and every COD and it’s just seamless. 10/10

Easy to install, works great and has a lot of storage

Perfect in myPS5 and the price compared to a new one is outstanding.

Easy to install, no issues at all! Expanded my game storage from 15 games to every single game I own (about 50 ps5 games installed)

Good download speed and big storage space for its price

Works great and at a great discount no worries here

Love it works great, loads fast. I’ve had for about a year and a half with no issues.

This turned my ps5 into a beast, i have all my games in one place and to need an external storage

I originally bought this to use with my ps5, but instead end up using it on my pc that supported the hight of the heatsink. One of the best, if not the best, nvme gen5 ssd on the market. Insane bootup speeds, apps load almost inatantly. excellent all around. As with many pc components, update the firware/drivers right after installation.

Works like a charm, which is great considering it was a refurbished item. Would highly recommend this product.

Love my Samsung 4tb ssd! Great price and fast shipping!

Easy to install for my PS5, and it works lighting fast!

Got this for my PS5. Popped it in and it was instantly recognized. Performed the format and setup the configuration and it is working perfectly. Load times are fast.

GREAT value on this refurbished drive - cheaper price on what was at one time the world's fastest SSD. It's still a monster to this day!

Great product. Got it on sale a while back for my PlayStation. 5 was able to load up 25 games that I have on to this for a 4 terabyte and still have plenty of room.
