It's best to purchase this range hood during renovations, as its power outlet is about one foot higher than normal and requires modification and additional installation. If the ceiling height is 8 feet, it will be quite cramped near the ceiling. If there are ceiling joists, a custom offset duct will be needed. The inlet is 5 inches, and the outlet can be 6 or 5 inches, but the thickness cannot exceed 3 inches. Other positive points include a built-in air purifier function, a built-in backflow prevention valve, and exquisite workmanship. Installation is somewhat complicated, and the installation height is quite tight. Professional installation is recommended; it's considered complex for individual users. The product itself is excellent; the installation difficulty is due to the wooden structure of the house. It's highly recommended.
