Be aware that this "state of the art oven" has no option to turn the fan off, which is definitely not standard in convection ovens and does impact some types of baked goods. The control panel isn't the most intuitive I've used and definitely takes practice. Unfortunately, the manual for this range is AWFUL. There is no user-friendly quick-start - even online. We had to pull up YouTube videos of random (not Samsung) people using various features to figure out how to start. There are some features that only seem accessible via the app, so be prepared to download. Security for the app is also AWFUL. Apparently, Samsung assumes only one person in the house will be cooking, because there's no way to share the appliances with others, except to have them use whatever login you use to set it up. Really bad app design. LG does this WAY better. I will say, this is A LOT of black in a white kitchen. Not much stainless. I REALLY wish that with the title "Bespoke" and an option for white, we could have selected white glass for the ovens, but that is not an option. The oven has a sleek appearance in the store, but with the cord (which doesn't come with the oven - you have to buy separately,) it doesn't really fit flush against the wall, because there's no room for the excess cord as part of the design - which you need to pull out the range. There is an attachment you can screw on to hide this, but the range will not be flush to the front with standard counter depth. On the plus side, the convertible oven works well. The burners heat and cool immediately, as they should with induction.

We just got this last week, and so far have sauteed & boiled on the induction cooktop & baked & air fried in the flex oven. The stovetop stuff cooked quickly, which was nice. The oven stuff was good, too. It also has a small drawer at the bottom which is a bonus because our last double oven did not. The air fry basket stores nicely in there. The scratch resistant cooktop is beautiful & so far cleans easily. It looks sleek in our kitchen & love that the backsplash is exposed now. A nice feature I discovered in the user guide was an induction compatibility check that you can do with your cookware. I will say with this and all of the Bespoke appliances we bought, you get only “quick" guides that are useless. You’d think a “quick guide” might for example tell you how to change your dishwasher back to English after accidentally changing it to French. This was something even a Samsung rep couldn’t help me with- “shut off the circuit breaker and it will reset” (it didn’t), or how to turn on the stove and oven...seems like a no brainer but even the installer had a hard time figuring it out. You would also think all of the available settings, like the ambient lighting, would be available in the SmartThings app, but they are not & the app seems lacking considering the technology of the appliances, but that’s just my opinion. Also would be nice if they included some recipes or at least tips for the many different features – air fry, sous vide, dehydrate, etc. I’m still giving 5 stars based on performance so far. Right now it’s smarter than we are, but not for long (hopefully).

Love the oven and the features! Simple design, but elegant. Not the biggest fan of the top side controls, but once you get the hang of them they're not too bad. Cooks fast, and great control of the temp. Still working on getting the internet connected, but I'll keep working at it...
