As a Sprint customer for many years I am used to Samsung's flagship phones, having had the Note 3, S6, Note 8, and S9+. So when I decided to change carriers and replace my damaged S9+, I wanted to see what was in the lower price market and I came across the A21. I read the specs and a few scattered reviews and decided this was going to have to be the one. Going on day 4 with the phones, and so far, I am pleasantly surprised! With Samsung smart switch, all my files were transferred over to my new phone in less than 8 minutes, and when my new phone restarted it looked exactly like my old phone, wall paper, home screen folders, everything. Phone is MUCH more responsive than I thought it would be, easily comparing to my S9+ in touch and responsiveness. Camera is more than sufficient for the average user and again surprised me a little bit in the low light category. Sound is a little tinny out of the box but was easily fixed with the equalizer and is actually quite loud when cranked up. The body. It is plastic and you defiantly know your not holding a flagship phone, but again, get a case and that goes away as well. As I had both phones active for two days I held them side by side and walked around the house and property and signal strength was exact on both phones. Conclusion: This is a fantastic phone for the price and would do well by any novice to moderate users.

For a budget android device I have been pretty impressed. I needed a loaner phone, something android that wouldnt take long to set up and use. This phone surprised me with its abilities for the price. For being an entry level device I was impressed. It lacks some of the more advanced features you find in flagship phones but overall I was surprised to see how well this phone did in the 2 weeks that I needed it. I am happy to turn this device off and keep it in reserve is I need a backup phone again.
