The Best Tech Purchase I’ve Made in Years – Absolute Game-Changer I don’t usually write reviews, but this laptop deserves one. After weeks of researching, I finally decided on the Samsung Galaxy Book4 Pro 14", and I can confidently say—it’s worth every single dollar. The AMOLED touchscreen is jaw-dropping. Colors are incredibly rich and accurate, and it’s a huge upgrade from any standard laptop screen I’ve used before. I actually enjoy working now, whether it's spreadsheets, design work, or just streaming Netflix. It’s also shockingly lightweight without feeling flimsy. I carry it daily, and the build quality is solid—no creaks, no flex. The Intel Core Ultra 7 handles everything smoothly. I’ve had over 15 tabs open, Zoom running, and video editing in the background—still buttery smooth. Battery life easily lasts a full workday, and the keyboard and trackpad feel premium, not like an afterthought. It even boots up in seconds, which I didn’t expect to appreciate as much as I do. Let’s be honest—$1,200 is an investment. But this laptop truly feels like a high-end machine built for professionals and power users. It’s the kind of device that makes you feel like you made the right call every time you open it. If you're even thinking about this model—go for it. You won’t regret it.

I am really happy with my new Samsung Galaxy Book Pro. It's a light and portable laptop with a beautiful screen. The speakers on the device provide surprisingly good audio quality. As a big fan of the Samsung ecosystem, this laptop is a great addition. Unfortunately, like most devices, this one also has drawbacks. When playing games or running heavy applications for extended periods, the laptop does generate some heat. Moreover, it's not a top-of-the-line gaming laptop that can play any game at any resolution. Still, the laptop is very capable for its price point. It can run most AAA games that came out before 2016. I've successfully run Doom 2016, The Forest, and Frostpunk on the device along with others. Its also no slouch on Emulation if that's more your cup of tea.

Works okay, screen is touch but no pen input. Is fast but gets hot

The 2024 Samsung Galaxy Book4 Pro 14 inch has one of the most premium builds for a Windows Laptop in its class in my opinion. It's very light-weight (2.7 lbs) and easy to throw in a backpack or carry in a suitcase. Aesthetically it looks very sleek, professional, and has ultraportable functionality. In terms of design & build quality, it's a worthy Windows competitor to the Apple MacBook Air M2 & M3. I'm an on the go professional that works in the Construction, Engineering, & Architecture space and this is a laptop I’d feel comfortable using to conduct client presentations. I will start off my review with the major positives: 1) The 3K AMOLED screen on this laptop is gorgeous. Colors really pop & make for great video streaming. 2) Really Easy DIY m.2 storage upgrades (I was able to upgrade storage from 512 TB to 8 TB) - Getting access to the motherboard to replace the OEM m.2 ssd and add my own took me literally less than 20 minutes with the help of YouTube tutorials + a Cheap PC Tool Kit. 3) 2 Thunderbolt 4 Ports, 1 HDMI 2.1 Port (that can run 8k), 1 USB-A Legacy Port, and 1 MicroSD slot. 4) Fantastic Build Quality & Ultraportable - a true Windows Built Design rival to an Apple Designed Product. 5) Some special integrated "Samsung Only" features if you're especially invested in the Samsung Eco-System (w/ Galaxy Smart Phone, Quickshare, Smartthings, etc). 6) Intel Unison Software allows call, text message, and image retrieval compatibility with iPhones & iPads. 7) Keyboard comes with the new Microsoft Copilot Key integrated & a dedicated ai NPU chip. 8) Intel ARC Graphics (much better than Intel XE Graphics of the past several years). 9) Intel Evo Certified. 10) Battery Life runs at 8 hours (with full brightness and performance set to maximum with constant load with two m.2 ssd's). I imagine many more hours if you reduce brightness, performance, and are running the stock OEM SSD. 11) Fast Charging. Some of my nitpicks: 1) The 14 inch " Pro" version is capped to a maximum of Soldered 16 GB RAM in the US. 2) Bezels of the screen aren't terrible but they could've been smaller especially given premium positioning. 3) Same Design as Last Year's 2023 Galaxy Book3 14 Pro. 4) A small nitpick, but this laptop is only available in one color scheme in the US. It's nice...but c'mon Samsung.... Ultimate Redemption & Saving Grace: I will say that one of the most redeeming aspects of this laptop despite its some of its quirks is the fact that this has TWO m.2 NVMe slots (rare in a laptop of this size). I love that Samsung made it super easy and uncomplicated to get access to the motherboard. Theoretically, you could DIY upgrade this to having potentially 16 TB (yes TB!) of storage space in your laptop if you can run two m.2 8 TB drives. It is indeed possible. I prefer Samsung Products for their superior storage reliability & I'm currently running two Samsung 990 Pro SSD's with 4 TB each (8 TB total). Cloning the OEM drive was super easy with Samsung's Magician Software. I must give major kudos to Samsung on this feature – Ultimately, this is one of the unique standout features of this laptop that differentiates it from its competition and saves me from having to carry a portable SSD for extra data!

Its an incredibly capable laptop that falls short in refinments, the OS is filled with random Samsung apps, and it gets very hot when chraging and doing simple work. However the rest of the experience is wonderful, excellent build quality, gorgeous display, extremely responsive and more than capable of handling any workload, and was getting more than enough battery to last the entire day.

I loved the laptop. It worked great for college and some gaming. I used it for all my schoolwork and a little Forza Horizon 5 gaming on the side and it worked great for my needs. Good battery and beautiful screen. That was the only problem is the screen is very fragile. It doesnt take much pressure at all for it to crack. Be very careful with it.

Oled screen is gorgeous and laptop feels light, premium, and keys feel nice to type on. My only major complaint is that it can get really hot, though given its slim size it's not surprising.

I use a MacBook in my personal life but prefer a Windows machine for work. The Galaxy Book 4 Pro was really disappointing, and I returned it after just a few days. On the plus side, the build quality was very good, and the screen was fantastic. The list of cons is many. Battery life and thermal management is downright awful and Samsung should be ashamed for releasing a product like this (especially at this price point). The keyboard got unreasonably hot even under (what I'd consider) minor load (Edge running, Outlook in the background). In fact, it got so hot at times it seemed almost dangerous to touch. And unless you own lots of other Samsung devices, do yourself a favor and go with another option. There is such a massive amount of Samsung bloatware on the thing and it's basically impossible to get rid of (the Surface line is probably the least bloated of modern Windows laptops).
Since it have been a year..the laptop health and performance are really excellent..I really like this laptop..Amazing
