📦 UNBOXING: Inside the box, you’ll find the Galaxy Book6 Pro laptop, a USB-C charging cable, and a USB-C charging adapter that supports up to 65W. 💪 BUILD: The chassis of the Book6 Pro uses aluminum for a sleek minimalist look that doesn’t track fingerprints and is incredibly lightweight for the size. At a mere 3.51 lbs, it is reasonably light for a 16” laptop with a premium aluminum chassis. With a thickness of only 11.9 mm, it’s also easier to fit into many bags and backpacks. 🔌PORTS: Unfortunately, the Book6 Pro downgrades its port selection by removing the microSD card slot that has been included since the Galaxy Book Pro series was first introduced. If this was removed to reach the current thickness, I’m not sure if that was a compromise worth making. While I don’t expect I would want to use the microSD card slot very frequently compared to a full size SD card slot, I do feel that its omission will be missed since there isn’t otherwise an improvement to the port selection to make up for its loss. On the left side, the Book6 Pro still includes 2x Type-C Thunderbolt 4 ports, an HDMI 2.1 port that supports up to 8K@60hz or 5K@120Hz, and a status LED to indicate battery use or charging. On the right side of the laptop you will find a single Type-A USB 3.2 gen 1 5Gbps port and a 3.5mm audio combo jack. Overall, it’s a fairly standard port selection, but I think the regression here for the increased price is worth noting. 🔧 EXPANSION & UPGRADES: The Book6 Pro has limited room for expansion which is really unfortunate when memory and storage requirements for a lot of software seems to be increasing. The 16GB RAM is soldered across 8x2GB chips, reports a quad channel memory configuration in HWInfo and Windows Task Manager, and clocks in at 8533 MT/s On the upside, there are 2x m.2 PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD slots, so if you want more onboard storage, you can add another without needing to replace the existing 1TB SSD (which happens to be a SAMSUNG MZVL81T0HFLB-00B in my unit). ⌨️ KEYBOARD & TOUCHPAD: The keyboard on the Galaxy Book Pro lineup has been controversial in prior years, and that hasn’t changed this year despite some notable changes. Historically, the 15”/16” Galaxy Book laptops have always had numpads, but they opted to remove the numpad for the Book6 lineup. This means the keyboard is now centered along with the trackpad. I personally like this more, but I’m sure there will be numpad enjoyers out there who will be disappointed with this change. While the key travel is pretty low compared to most laptop keyboards, I do find that my typing accuracy is quite consistent on the keyboard of the Book6 Pro. It didn’t take too much practice to get comfortable with typing on this keyboard. The power button also functions as a fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication, and the keyboard is backlit. The haptic touchpad is new to the Book6 Pro, and it’s a welcome addition. Rather than mechanical clicks, the trackpad has a motor that simulates the sensation of a click, no matter where you press on the trackpad. This means that it’s more responsive compared to mechanical trackpads, and will register clicks across the full trackpad without any dead zones. You can now change the sensitivity to register a click, and change the click intensity if you prefer a more gentle or strong haptic feedback. 📺 DISPLAY: One of Samsung’s strong points is their displays, and the Book6 Pro uses a touch-enabled Samsung AMOLED display (model ATNA60HR05-0 in my unit). The display is 16” with a resolution of 2880x1800 and has a variable refresh rate between 30Hz - 120Hz for fluid motion on-screen and power-saving properties when you’re simply working on documents. It reaches 500 nits brightness in SDR content which is plenty bright, and can reach 1000 nits peak in HDR content. It’s color accurate, so professionals who need a color-accurate display should be delighted. You can select sRGB, Adobe sRGB, and DCI-P3. color space profiles in the Samsung Settings app. Samsung also has what they call an “AI Vision Booster” in the Samsung Settings app to brighten and dim based on your environment. So it should remain clear when outdoors, and not be blindingly bright when indoors. It’s enabled by default, but can also be disabled. 📹 WEBCAM & MICROPHONE: The webcam is only 1080p 30fps and unfortunately does not support Windows Hello Facial Recognition. In good lighting conditions, the image quality is decent, but I would have hoped for a 1440p image sensor at this price point. The dual microphone array appears to be right above the webcam on the edge of the lid itself, and it also sounds clear. It’s using a Cirrus Logic XU and has AI noise cancellation via the Fortemedia AI Noise Cancellation app which runs on the NPU of the Intel processor. You can use zero noise reduction if you want the highest recording quality, Fixed-Beam mode for noise reduction in standard voice calls, and 360 mode for circumstances where you have multiple people in the same room sharing your computer for a call. 🔊 SPEAKERS & HEADPHONE: Flanking the keyboard is a set of new stereo upward-firing speakers—a definite improvement over Samsung’s prior implementations. By default, Dolby Atmos is disabled despite it being an included feature. Turning on Dolby Atmos yielded a better listening experience, albeit not dramatically better like it often is on some other laptops. Even so, I did find that enabling it and using one of the Music presets yielded a decent listening experience on the speakers. Your mileage may vary, but I felt like the Dynamic preset yielded much more distortion and caused the treble to be a bit more tinny. The 3.5mm combo audio jack is also good. A headphone like the Sennheiser HD 560S has no issues being driven by the integrated amplifier without coloring the sound (at least when Dolby Atmos is disabled). When I tried using a 3.5mm analog headset, the microphone audio was loud and clear without any additional noise. ⚡ PERFORMANCE: This Galaxy Book6 Pro has an Intel Core Ultra 7 356H which does not have Arc graphics. So if you’re looking for the model with Arc graphics, you will need to opt for the much more expensive model with the Core Ultra X7 358H or look at the Book6 Ultra with dedicated graphics. If you were hoping to do some light gaming on this thin laptop, it could be done at lower resolutions with low settings, but it won’t be running games like Cyberpunk 2077 since it doesn’t use Arc graphics. Because of the lightweight graphics, I wouldn’t use this laptop for video editing, but it could certainly do some light photo editing. The Core Ultra 7 356H uses 3 different types of processing cores to balance performance and efficiency. It uses 4 Performance cores, 8 Efficiency Cores, and 4 Low-Power Efficient Cores. Bursty tasks that need maximum performance like code compilation and gaming will make use of the performance cores, while general multitasking and background tasks will be delegated to the Efficiency cores. And simpler tasks like viewing/editing a document or streamig video/music are assigned to the Low-Power Efficient cores. For example, while writing this review in Google Docs, the Windows 11 Task Manager showed only the LP cores were active while the other 12 cores were parked. In my experience, the Book6 Pro doesn’t have a ton of pre-installed bloatware. Samsung includes some useful features across the Samsung Settings app and the Galaxy Book Experience app, but they also don’t shove it into your face like some other manufacturers. If you already use a Galaxy phone or tablet, you may find features like Second screen, Quick Share, Storage Share, Camera Share, and Samsung Notes tangibly useful. But if you don’t use other Samsung devices, then these apps generally stay out of your way, and you can disable them Fan noise is also excellent on the Book6 Pro. In my mixed use scenarios, I never heard the fans, and that’s likely due to the LP cores being used most of the time. Playing a 3D game will cause the fans to kick on, but they’re still very quiet. The vast majority of my mixed use testing was done on battery, and I never experienced lag or stutter. Samsung overall has a good track record of delivering a responsive experience on their Galaxy Book lineup. 🔋 BATTERY: My real-world testing used the default “Balanced” power mode with display brightness of 70%-80% and keyboard backlighting set to 30%. Energy Saver mode also kicked in at the default 30% battery remaining, which brought the display brightness closer to 40%. With this configuration, I could achieve 9 hours of mixed use on battery. If you are using lower screen brightness, and doing very lightweight work in a browser, then you may be able to achieve closer to 12 hours. I think the Book6 Pro can handle a full typical workday of mixed use, but more demanding tasks will necessitate charging more frequently. Idle power draw is reasonably good for a Windows laptop, varying somewhere around 0.25W to 0.5W for an hour, so on a full battery, you can expect somewhere around 7-14 days before it reaches 0%. 🧐 CONCLUSION: The Galaxy Book6 Pro is for folks who want a premium laptop with a superb touch-enabled OLED display that delivers responsive performance for every day tasks. But like previous years, the launch price makes it difficult to recommend. Prior generations have had a Pro 360 model with S-Pen support and microSD card support at the same price, making this version just as expensive but with fewer features. But if it goes on a significant discount, the Book6 Pro could be a great option for someone who wants a premium laptop for general use.

This is my review of the Samsung - Galaxy Book6 Pro Laptop - Copilot+ PC - 16" 3K AMOLED Touch Screen - Intel Core Ultra 7 - 16GB Memory -1TB SSD, upon which I rate a 4 out of 5 stars. Out of the box, the laptop comes with a power adapter, USB-C to USB-C cable, and a quick start guide. The chassis of the laptop is in a flat metallic gray having a brushed finish that deters fingerprints. Opening the lid, you will find a nice sized touchpad, standard keyboard layout with speakers on the left and right side of the keyboard. Externally, the laptop has 2 USB-C charging ports, 1 USB-A charging port, 3.5mm headphone jack, 1 HDMI port, and a front facing 2MP 1080p camera with built-in microphone. To note, there are no microSD ports. This laptop is showcased by its 16" AMOLDED touch screen having a 2880 x 1800 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 1000 nits brightness to push graphics through any bright room. The Windows 11 system is supported by Windows AI Copilot and an Intel Core Ultra 7 Series 3 processor for power users demanding multitasking performance. On a different note, this laptop is only supported by an entry level graphics card, so this laptop will not support heavy gaming or intense graphic requiring programs. This laptop is also supported by 1000gb storage capacity and 16gb of system RAM enough for all your music, pictures, graphic editing, and home office needs. The lithium-ion battery is large enough to power your laptop up to 30 hours without AC intervention. There are some shortfalls in my opinion of this laptop which I'll mention here. At this price point, this laptop only has an entry level graphics card. Consider this if you like extensive video (gaming) or graphic editing. I found the speakers very basic and would need to connect them immediately to a set of reference speakers to keep me engaged. I did find the backlit keyboard lacking sufficient luminance so would not be used in darker settings. For these reasons I have deducted 1-star in my review. I hope you enjoyed reading my review and it aided in your purchasing decision.

This brand-new Samsung Galaxy Book6 Pro CoPilot+ laptop is a superb combination of technology and functionality which will outperform almost all existing laptops thanks to its incorporation of a new Intel Core Ultra 7 processing unit which integrates the CPU with an advanced GPU, an image processor and an NPU. The display is an outstanding 3K AMOLED touch screen in an elegant, very compact but sturdy casing. Samsung is one of the world’s largest consumer electronic firms. It was founded in 1938 as a diversified trading company which grew to include heavy industry, chemicals, financial services and food processing. It is the largest South Korean company. A subsidiary began to focus on electronics in the late 1960s. Today Samsung is a leading manufacturer of semiconductors, cell phones, LCD panels, digital TVs, computers, tablets, audio equipment and consumer products such as kitchen appliances, laundry equipment, air conditioners and floor care products. The Samsung Book6 Pro with CoPilot is their newest entry for high-end computing use. Visually, the Samsung Galaxy Book6 Pro is a stunning design with an ultra-slim beautiful slate grey body. The high contrast white-on-black keyboard has white backlighting which is activated automatically. The superb 16 inch 3K AMOLED screen seems larger because it is jet black when off and incorporates a frameless thin black edge. Overall, the impression is very sophisticated and high tech. This design would be just as much at home in a corporate boardroom as in a college dorm. Consider these incredible specifications: • Samsung Galaxy Book6 Pro 360 (Model NP960XJG-KA2US) • Intel Core Ultra 7 356H CPU 4 performance cores/8 efficient cores, up to 16 hyper-threads, 25 watt base power with 80 watt turbo power mode, speeds 1.5 GHz to 4.7 GHz, 18 MB L3 cache • Integrated Intel 2.45 GHz 4 Xe Core GPU uses shared system memory • Intel Image Processing Unit version 7.5, 16MP max resolution • Integrated 5th generation NPU 50 TOPS Peak • 16 GB LP-DDR5X high efficiency 5,200 MHz RAM primary memory • 1.0 TB Samsung PCIe NVMe Gen 3 SSD fast hard drive • 15.6” IPS AMOLED-backlit touch-screen display with 2880 x 1800 (3K) resolution @ 30-120Hz and 1000 nits brightness capability, Gorilla Glass panel, supports Vision Booster software • 64 bit Windows 11 Home operating system with CoPilot+ AI • Full suite of Samsung utility programs • Bixby voice assistant built-in, also supports Alexa • 4 AKG-tuned Dolby ATMOS 4 watt stereo speakers and audio processing • Full HD (1080P) wide-angle Webcam with auto-framing and dual microphones • Bluetooth 6.0 connectivity • 2 USB-C 4.0 (up to 40 GBps), 1 USB-A 3.2 (up to 5 GBps) (All can be used for charging) • HDMI 2.1 port • WiFi 7 Wireless LAN (802.11be) provides max 46 GBps connection speed • Headphone out/Microphone in 3.5 mm port • Ultra-quiet dual cooling fans and vapor chamber cooling system • 4 cell 68 Watt-Hour Lithium Ion battery provides up to 30 hours use • Compact 65 watt USB Type C charger restores 40% of power in 30 minutes, full recharge in 90 minutes • Full size back-lit keyboard with fingerprint scanner key to unlock PC • Haptic touchpad • Fingerprint-resistant aluminum casing is certified for military-grade durability • Very slim and compact: 14.1” wide x 9.8” deep x 0.5” thick • Weight: 3.4 pounds • One year warranty on parts and labor Those features culminate in a truly powerful, capable device. It is almost as fast as dedicated gaming laptops but has the portability and features which will make it the go-to choice for business travelers. It is beautifully engineered. The solid-state hard drive and low power needs of the CPU/GPU/NPU make fan noise almost non-existent. This is a very quiet device! It seemed pretty fast, so I ran a well-regarded benchmark program (Novabench 5) on both it and four of my other computers to determine their relative performance. This test measures both CPU (general processing), GPU (graphics processing) and data storage rate so they give a good overall measure of a computer’s speed. The four computers included two desktop all-in-one PCs (an older medium powered model with a HDD and a newer model with more RAM, SSD and a more powerful CPU/GPU combination), an older Samsung laptop and a Surface 4 laptop. All computers were well-maintained, running the latest Windows versions with no other programs active. Here are the results (higher is faster): Novabench 5 Results: 2016 All-in-One Desktop (Intel i5-6400, Intel 530 GPU, 12GB ram, 1TB HD): 615 (base) 2022 All-in-One Desktop (Intel i7-1255, 16GB ram, Nvidia MX550 GPU, 1TB SSD): 1242 (+102%) 2022 Samsung Galaxy Book2 360 Laptop (Intel i7-1260, 16GB ram, Intel Iris Xe GPU, 1TB SSD): 1805 (+193%) 2021 Microsoft Surface 4 Laptop (AMD Ryzen 7 4980U, 8GB ram, Radeon GPU, 0.5TB SSD): 1851 (+201%) 2026 Samsung Galaxy Book6 Pro Laptop (Intel Core Ultra 7 356H, 16 GB ram, Intel GPU/IPU/NPU. 1TB SSD): 2811 (+357%) The 56% speed advantage by this Samsung laptop over its 2022 predecessor clearly shows the massive improvement in the new Intel CPU/GPU/NPU. You will find this Samsung capable of out-performing anything you currently own (unless you have a really geeked-out special system). I loaded some graphics-intensive games and it was very smooth and responsive on all. Put this elegant notebook to work on most business software and it will never even break a sweat. Use it for photo or video editing and it will calmly do whatever you want, no drama. Samsung has done a superb integration of AI in this laptop’s functions. The NPU (Neural Processing Unit) has a 50 trillion operations per second (TOPS) rating. CoPilot requires 40 TOPS so this laptop easily handles the demands of that AI in all tasks. The screen on this laptop is incredible. It uses AMOLED technology, the same as that found on Samsung’s premium cell phones, so it is very responsive and the colors are very vivid with blacks that are truly black. AMOLED also provides the highest contrast ratio (1 million to 1) of any screen type and supports HDR video. The anti-reflective screen also adjusts its refresh rate automatically from 30 Hz up to 120 HZ (depending upon content) to conserve battery life and is protected by Gorilla Glass. The quality of the display alone justifies the price of this laptop! The AKG Dolby ATMOS sound system on this notebook is surprisingly good. I listened to some of my favorite albums from Spotify and the speakers were much better than typical for laptops. They are mounted at the sides of the keyboard, have decent volume and good stereo separation – certainly good enough for watching Netflix or YouTube videos. It also provides intelligent noise cancellation during Zoom calls. A major plus for this Samsung laptop is the outstanding battery life. I always test laptops by streaming a Netflix series on battery power with a bright screen and high speaker volume. The combination of WiFi modem usage, video rendering, screen lighting and speaker volume usually drains most laptop batteries in less than three hours. But this Galaxy Book6 lasted 14+ hours before exhausting the charge! That is long enough for seven full movies or a full season of a TV series and certainly would suffice a traveler for even the longest international flights. You can thank the ultra-efficient and power-miser Intel CPU/GPU and the new screen technology for that amazing performance. Recharge time was 90 minutes. Another advantage for travelers is the compact size (just 14.1” wide, 9.8” deep and only 0.5” thick) and very light weight – about 3.5 pounds. The USB-C power cube is tiny (about 2” x 2” x 1”) so it won’t take up any precious space or weight in your briefcase/backpack, plus it can be used to charge your other USB-C powered accessories. The notebook is nicely balanced with a great lighted keyboard and a big haptic-touchpad. It also runs very cool with dual silent fans and a vapor chamber cooling system, so those who like to literally use their laptop on their lap will be pleased. Other bonus features: Built-in Bixby and Alexa voice assistant, a nice fingerprint reader key, auto-framing by the 1080P wide-angle webcam, WiFi 7 connectivity, military-spec durable aluminum case, ability to run multiple monitors simultaneously, adjustable keyboard backlighting level, a nice suite of bundled utility apps, great integration with the Samsung family of phones and tablets. What are the weak points? Really, I had to dig deep to find any complaints. • It would have been nice to have a form-fitting cloth carrying case included (as many other notebook brands provide.) • Previous Galaxy Books had a separate keypad. If you do a lot of data entry this feature will be missed, but removing it did provide a better typing keyboard layout. But these are really just minor quibbles. When you consider all of its power and functionality you will agree that the price is a bargain. I can enthusiastically recommend the new Samsung Galaxy Book6 Pro CoPilot+ for both serious stay-at-home power users and for those who need a perfect travel companion.

The Samsung Galaxy Book6 Pro arrived quickly and was really well packaged. Everything was protected nicely, and once I had it out of the box, setup was super easy. I basically went through the normal Windows setup, connected my account, let it do its updates, and I was ready to go. Right away, the first thing that stood out to me was just how thin this laptop is. It is probably the thinnest laptop I’ve had to date, coming in at under half an inch thick, about 0.47 inches or 11.9mm. That is crazy thin for a 16-inch laptop. What’s interesting though is that even though it is so thin, it still has a little bit of weight to it. Not heavy by any means, it’s only about 3.5 pounds, but you can feel that it is made with quality materials. It feels durable, solid, and premium. You can feel the metal build when you pick it up, and it doesn’t feel cheap or flimsy at all. I actually like that balance because it gives you the thin and portable design, but still feels like a high-end laptop that should hold up well over time. After getting it set up and turned on, the next thing that really hit me was the trackpad. It’s huge! This is one of the largest trackpads I’ve used on a laptop, and it has a really smooth haptic feel to it. To be honest, it did take me a little bit of getting used to. I have really big hands, so you would think I would instantly love a trackpad this large, and I do love it, but I think the size of the laptop and the large space between the keyboard and the front edge changes my hand placement a bit. After using it for a while, I started getting more comfortable with it, and now I really appreciate the extra space. I honestly wish more laptops came with trackpads this large. The larger the better, in my opinion. If the whole bottom area was a trackpad, that would be kind of neat too! The keyboard also feels great. The keys are responsive, comfortable, and easy to type on. I haven’t had any issues with missed keystrokes or anything feeling awkward. The display is absolutely one of the best things about this laptop. The 16-inch 3K AMOLED touchscreen is beautiful. The contrast, deep blacks, and bright colors really make everything look top of the line. Watching 4K movies on this screen is fantastic, and even casual gaming looks incredible because of the color and clarity. This is not a gaming laptop, and I wouldn’t buy it expecting it to replace a dedicated gaming machine, but for lighter gaming, entertainment, work, and productivity, it looks amazing. I also do print-on-demand work, so having different display modes like sRGB, Adobe RGB, and DCI-P3 is a really nice feature. It helps me get a better idea of how my artwork and designs are going to look while I’m creating them, which is really useful for that type of work. Performance has been top notch for everything I’ve used it for. With the Intel Core Ultra 7 processor, 16GB of memory, and 1TB SSD, it feels fast and snappy. Apps open quickly, multitasking is smooth, and I haven’t had any issues with lag or slowdowns. It also has a nice mix of ports, a compact USB-C charger, Wi-Fi 7 support, and some Samsung ecosystem features if you already use other Samsung devices. Overall, I’m extremely happy with the Samsung Galaxy Book6 Pro. It’s thin, sleek, powerful, beautifully built, and the screen is absolutely incredible. It’s not going to be the best choice for someone looking for a serious gaming laptop or heavy graphics workstation, but for work, productivity, media, school, everyday use, and creative tasks like my print-on-demand work, this laptop is fantastic. I highly recommend it to anyone in the market for a really nice premium laptop.

This is my first experience using the Samsung Galaxy Book6 Pro as a primary work laptop, especially coming from traditional brands with Intel processors. I was particularly interested in how the Intel Core Ultra processor with a built-in NPU handles day-to-day productivity along with AI workloads. I’ve been using it for work (Teams calls, dashboards, document reviews, Copilot usage) and content creation for marketing, and overall, this feels like a very practical, well-rounded laptop that focuses on usability and display quality. Design and Build • Very light for a 16” laptop (~3.4 lbs), easy to carry around for travel and meetings • Clean and premium aluminum finish, typical Samsung design language • Large screen real estate without feeling bulky • Keyboard is comfortable for long typing sessions Touchpad and Audio The touchpad is large, smooth, and very responsive with good gesture support. The side-firing speakers are a nice improvement. The audio doesn’t get muffled when placed on a desk, and the clarity during Teams calls and video playback is noticeably better than bottom-firing speakers. Bass is still limited, but overall it’s a practical upgrade from my year-old laptop. Display and Visual Experience • 16” 3K AMOLED touchscreen (2880 x 1800) • One of the best displays I’ve used on a laptop—deep blacks, vibrant colors, and excellent contrast. Great for dashboards and data review, watching videos, and long document reading sessions One thing I noticed right away is the deep blacks on this AMOLED screen, especially when using dark mode apps. It makes a visible difference compared to IPS displays, where blacks look more grayish. Spec and Performance • Processor & AI (NPU): Intel Core Ultra 7 with integrated NPU • Memory: 16GB RAM • Storage: 1TB SSD • Graphics: Intel Arc integrated GPU What stood out: • Smooth multitasking with Teams, browser tabs, Excel, and Copilot running together • AI tasks like summarizing notes, live transcription, and background effects run efficiently. Runs quietly while doing AI tasks • The NPU helps offload some AI workloads without slowing down the system • No noticeable lag in day-to-day productivity tasks Battery Life • Easily lasted a full workday with moderate usage. • Fast charging is useful when you’re on the move—charges 50–60% in under an hour. The small USB-C charger is great for travel Connectivity and Ports • 2x USB-C (Thunderbolt), USB-A, HDMI, headphone jack, and a microSD reader Good mix of ports for a thin laptop, with no need to rely on dongles, which I prefer. What I Liked • AMOLED display is the biggest highlight • Lightweight and easy to carry despite the 16” size • Reliable performance for everyday productivity • Good balance between AI features and app compatibility • Solid port selection What Could Be Better 16GB RAM is good for most use cases today, but I do feel 32GB would have made this more future-proof—especially for heavier multitasking and AI-driven workloads. At this price point, if Samsung had gone with 32GB, this could have been an even more compelling option for both productivity and gaming. Overall Impression This is a very well-balanced productivity laptop with the right specs—display, portability, and consistent performance. It’s not trying to be the most powerful or the most AI-focused machine, but it does a great job handling real-world workflows without any issues. Great pick if you use it for office work, meetings and collaboration, watching videos and content creation. Overall, a premium, reliable laptop with one of the best displays in this category, built for everyday productivity.

Samsung can be associated with some of the best smartphones and displays ever manufactured. The company is also known for their robust storage devices and memory. The Samsung Galaxy Book6 Pro makes the most of the company’s proven dominance in the aforementioned technologies in a sleek portable formfactor. As packaged; • Samsung Galaxy Book6 Pro • USB-C to USB-C Cable • USB-C Power Adapter (65W) • Quick Start Guide Leaflet • Terms & Conditions Leaflet Although I generally prefer 14-inch sized laptops, the Galaxy Book6 Pro’s 16-inch display is simply brilliant and worthy of an exception! The screen incorporates Samsung’s AMOLED display technology renowned for deep blacks and vivid color reproduction. Outdoor use even in sunlight conditions is possible on account of the exceptional brightness and anti-reflective features. With a maximum resolution of 2880 x 1800 pixels, the display is classified as 3K. Images are sharp and videos smooth due to the maximum 120Hz refresh rate. The ability to vary the refresh rate allows the laptop to conserve power when needed or perform unrestrained otherwise. As an added bonus, the display is touch-enabled but I subconsciously appear to forget this during use possibly due to the screen’s previously stated sheer perfection. The Irony, however, is that it is constructed of Corning Glass making it scratch resistant. Impressively, the Samsung Galaxy Book6 Pro is very portable even with a 16-inch display. It is less than an inch thick overall, weighs about 3.5lbs and comes encased in aluminum. The hinge mechanism appears robust and operates very smoothly, firmly supporting various degrees of opening. With dimensions of about 6 x 4.25 inches, the multi-gesture haptic touchpad is one of the largest I have ever used. To put this in perspective, the backlit keyboard is sized at approximately 11 x 4.25 inches. It incorporates a power button that doubles as a fingerprint scanner. Yes, it is a very accurate scanner. Tactile feedback is on par with a premium laptop, helping deliver accurate and fulfilling keystrokes. For personalization, 30, 60 and 100 percent are three available brightness levels. Maintaining a minimalist theme, the Galaxy Book6 Pro houses only 5 ports which include a 3.5mm headphone/microphone jack and a USB-A (3.2); the other three ports are an HDMI (2.1) and two Thunderbolt 4. As technology rapidly evolves, Samsung’s decision to offer a 3.5mm jack and a USB-A port will help facilitate connections with older peripherals/devices minus adaptors. The quad speaker setup is more than adequate for a laptop although I typically route audio through my Galaxy Buds. For videoconferencing or selfies, a 2MP camera is on board. The available Camera Share feature permits the use of another camera should you choose, provided that device is on Wi-Fi and has the same Samsung Galaxy account. My Galaxy Book6 Pro configuration includes 16 GB of RAM, 1TB of solid-state storage and an Intel Core Ultra 7 356H processor. I am able to take full advantage of the laptop’s Wi-Fi 7 standard and establish connections with blazing download speeds since my wireless router also supports Wi-Fi 7. My current internet service supports downloads speeds of up to 1300 Mbps and upload speeds of up to 35 Mbps. Performance is quick for everyday tasks and streaming fluid, without any lag. For familiarity, Samsung provides their own “settings” menu which will be familiar to anyone with other Samsung devices. To promote the Samsung ecosystem, Multi Control, Storage Share and Second Screen are three features available on the Galaxy Book6 Pro. With Multi Control, I can use the touchpad or keyboard of the laptop to navigate or type respectively on either my TabS9 tablet or S24 Ultra smartphone. Storage Share enables access to files stored on either my tablet or smartphone right from my Galaxy Book6 Pro. Second Screen allows my tablet to be used as an additional screen for the laptop. All three features are available under the Connected Devices setting on the Galaxy Book6 Pro. I commend Samsung for these features which encourage additional use of existing devices a user may own. With my 1TB setup, I envision using my Galaxy Book6 Pro for several years to come. As the RAM is not upgradeable, you may need to factor long-term use/goals prior to taking delivery, in my opinion. The storage though can be upgraded. If my other Samsung devices are a testament to quality, my Galaxy Book6 Pro will stay reliable and supported by Samsung for years to come. I recommend.

I’ve been a fan of the Samsung Book line for a few years now. Samsung is well known for a wide variety of eletronics, so I wouldn’t sleep on their laptops either. With a simple and sleek design, and versatile processor, you get big bang in a large 16” laptop. **Performance** I think the most compelling feature to note is this uses intels new Core Ultra 7 365H. I’ve ran several benchmarks to measure the quantative values but just from user experience, I can see this being a laptop that you want to take with you to the office, on vacation, or sit down at a cafe. Aside from having a bunch of tabs open, I’m still able to play a video while also scrubbing the timeline around in Samsung’s Studio app, using the balanced power setting on battery. There’s also the NPU for AI workflows. With a dedicated Co-Pilot button, you can launch windows AI and create quick visuals, summarize data, or provide general assistance with gathering information or helping with a problem. It took about a minute and a half to get my favorite AI image, a “Crab Raccoon”! If you lean on AI to help with workflows or every day tasks, I can see this working to your advantage. One of my favorite things to do with AI is to summarize articles. It’s also worth mentioning that this CPU has integrated graphics. I wasn’t going to spend any time testing games because I didn’t think it was that kind of computer until I entertained launching Battlefield 6 and found that it launched into the game and let me play around in a match. It was not good, around 22-30 FPS at best on the lowest settings. What it did inspire me to do was launch Tribes 3 Rivals which played wonderfuly at 50-60 FPS at 1080p resolution and low settings. Gaming is definately doable on this laptop as long as you’re not playing very demanding titles and don’t mind lower settings. **Design** Samsung makes all kinds of products for the home and every day life and stick to a similar design language. Well built with a clean, minimalistic design while not cheaping out on quality of build materials. The laptop looks sharp, everything just flows and blends well. There’s a very large palm rest for typing. In fact, my wrist and the top of my forearm wrests on this laptop. This leads me to my first critique. I feel like the keyboard sits very high on the chasis and could have came down about half an inch or so. Also, the speakers hugh either side of the keyboard, I would have liked to see the keyboard get a bit of extra room by shrinking the speaker mesh. These are small improvements that would result in the shrinking of the mouse pad which is huge. Some people love their giant track pads, I am not one of them, but I can live with it. There is just a small logo on top of the lid and some intake vents on the bottom. Aside from a few ports on the sides that’s pretty much it. If you have a lot of perephials to attach, be prepared ot maybe pack a hub or small dock with you. There are 2 Thunderbolt 4 ports on the left along with an HDMI 2.1 port. You only get a single USB A and headphone jack on the right. Keyboard, webcam, and speakers are all about average. I find the keyboard works well enough but can be a bit spongy. Trackpad is very large and has good palm rejection, the clicks feel tactile and responsive. Speakers I thought got as loud as you’ll ever need in a laptop and without getting mushy at the higher volumes, but didn’t really stand out as being special, however, I can appreciate them being decent. Webcam is falls into a similar category as being okay and acceptable, but as more interaction is handled remotely, it’d be nice to see the standard webcam get a bit of an improvement. **Display** Samsung is a world leader in display manufacturing, I have several monitors from them, and they’re all fantastic. This 3k AMOLED display outputs vibrant and engaging colors. Buttery smooth at 120Hz refresh rate, you can easily get lost in 4k HDR content. There are 6 different dispay profiles under windows settings that you can choose from. You can also find these same profiles under the Samsung settings app. I like that the refresh rate is variable to help save battery life. I also love that it’s touch screen. **Battery Life** Battery life is advertised as being around 30 hours. You can read the fine print and get the exact testing parameters which doesn’t really reflect how most people will use this laptop. However, if you don’t mind using around 40% brightness and low power mode when browsing the web or checking emails, I can see someone easily getting two or three afternoons of use out of this without needing to charge. If you do need to juice up, this laptop juices back up at 65 watts which I think is very convenient for use with modern power bricks and battery banks. **Other Thoughts** WiFi is blazing fast. I found that connected and fairly close to my wifi 7 AP I was getting 2.8 Gbps connection speeds. This is great if you’re working off a network drive and you have these types of speeds setup. Unfortunately I do not have other samsung devices to test with but there are several apps that integrate use across your devices. From using a tablet as a second screen to seamslessly transferring pictures and files from your Samsung mobile devices, you can fire up apss such as Samsung Flow that assists with some of these features. One thing that would have been nice is if Samsung offered a “Hub” of their different apps and nestled them in a central location to easily find and know what each of them do. I think 1TB is a good starting point for almost every laptop and should be the starting point, along with 16GB of RAM. However, with AI becoming a larger selling point, you have to bundle it with more RAM. It’s the case here that they instead decided to go with faster RAM. I saw it clocked in at 8,533 MT/s which I believe helps them get away with less RAM. It’s also likely a large part of why this computer feels snappy. I think this is the perfect buy if you have other Samsung mobile devices or tables and you’re setup within the Samsung ecosystem. I think this goes down to a great buy if you’re not a Samsung user but are looking for a large beautiful screen in which to consume media, do work, maybe do some light gaming and video editing, and use some AI tools. It’s very well rounded while having a great battery life, build quality, and backed by a trusted brand.

I’ve been using the Samsung Galaxy Book 6 Pro for about three days now, and it is absolutely amazing. I do a lot of writing and multitasking for work, and I wanted something that would support extended typing/usage sessions and was lightweight enough to carry around easily. What stands out right away is how easy it is to type on this thing. The keyboard just feels right. The keys have a nice, satisfying travel distance without being too springy or shallow, and there’s enough feedback that I never have to second-guess whether I actually pressed a key. I'm in the process of writing a book to publish, and so I have been doing a lot of typing lately. Even after a couple of hours straight, the keyboard still feels great. The layout is clean, the backlighting is adjustable, and it’s easily one of the best typing experiences I’ve had on a Windows machine in a long time. Beyond the keyboard, this laptop is snappy. I’m not doing heavy video editing or gaming, but I do run a ton of browser tabs, spreadsheets, documents, and the occasional video call all at once. The Intel processor and 16 GB of RAM inside this thing handle everything without bogging down. Everything opens instantly, switching between apps feels seamless, and there’s zero lag even when I’ve got a ton of tabs open and am running several programs. Battery life has been solid too, but the performance is what keeps me coming back; it just feels fast and reliable all day long. And then there’s the touchscreen, which, to be frank, might be the most gorgeous screen I have seen on a laptop period. The 3K AMOLED display is stunning! I don't use the touch function often, to be honest, the screen seems too nice to use as a touchscreen, but it does work fine. It gets nice and bright too, no issues using it in a bright room. The Book6 Pro is an amazing piece of tech. It is lightweight, has an amazing AMOLED screen, is pleasant to type on for long hours, is snappy, and has great battery life. I highly recommend this unit if you are looking for a capable, multi-tasking unit and not focused on graphics-intensive use like gaming or video editing.

TLDR: If you are looking for a sleek, relatively light, laptop with a beautiful screen, very nice keyboard. and great performance, you will be very happy with the Samsung Galaxy Book6 Pro (from here on out I'm just gonna call it the Book6). Let me start off by saying this is not going to be a review with me just regurgitating the specs for this laptop. Best Buy does a great job making those easily accessible on the main page for the Book6. What it is, is a review by a guy who has been using laptops for decades and is well versed in using technology in the classroom (I was a HS teacher). I got the Book6 because while I had planned on buying my nephew a new laptop for his Junior High graduation, his current computer (a Chromebook) gave up the ghost before the school year ended. My nephew is on the spectrum and actually does not like technology much, so being minimalist and straightforward is a serious plus. I would have purchased him a MacBook Air, but his High School recommends Windows PCs for the greatest 'interoperability'. Fortunately, the Samsung Book6 is probably the closest Windows laptop to the last generation MacBook Air (style-wise). I mean that as a sincere compliment, because the previous generation of Airs are timeless and well done. A lot of Apple fans were actually upset when the Air moved away from the 'wedge' and went to basically a slim Pro profile. The wedge actually did make typing nicer and the Book6 brings that benefit to a Windows PC. Where the Book6 also excels and is like an Air is in typing and its trackpad. The keyboard, while not as great as my all-time favorite, the ThinkPad, is outstanding. Also, the trackpad is absolutely HUGE! It is also nicely responsive and has very good haptic feedback. I also appreciate the fact that Samsung went with a numpad-less keyboard centered over the trackpad. That is a must-have for me, and I believe it will help my nephew become even more comfortable with typing (making small typing mistakes really makes him anxious). The 3K OLED screen is absolutely gorgeous, and while I abhor using a touchscreen (especially one that has a glossy surface like the Book6), I know my nephew likes it. Despite being a glossy screen, it actually does a fairly good job at minimizing the visual impact of fingerprints. The screen can be set pretty bright which is great, but since my nephew tends to like to do his school work in near darkness (cuts down on overstimulation), he'll be able to crank that down and get more battery life out of it. Speaking of battery life, while the Book6 claims 30 hours, I don't think it will get quite that good of life, but while doing my set up for him, the laptop did sip power despite doing all the updates and configuration work. I also really like that when the computer is off and you plug it in, rather than just a small indicator light, you get a quick 10-second or so screen icon showing its current battery life and it pops back on when it is at 100%. It's very smartphone-like and I thought it was pretty cool. If you or whomever you are buying the Samsung Book6 for, are Galaxy/Android phone users, you will get some extra integration between your phone and the Book6. It's much like the integration between iPhones and Macs, though I was unable to test out all the features because I have an Apple device. I also, appreciate that Samsung did not hugely overburden the Book6 with a lot of garbage software. I had a pretty easy time updating the laptop and cleaning up what little bloat there is on there. I got the settings and his software (or its Windows analog), set up just how he likes it and its going to be easy for him to get the hang of this very quickly. Finally, I appreciate how sturdy and well-made the laptop feels. It feels premium and has very little flex anywhere, which will be important to this laptop staying functional in the chaotic world of High School. My only grumble with the Book6 at all is related to its charging brick which is a nicely compact 65w USB-C charger, but the plugs don't flip up. I absolutely HATE charging bricks with fixed prongs! Fortunately, I love the fact that we a finally in the era of standardized power cords and bricks, so even if this one gets busted it will be easy to replace. While the Samsung Book6 Pro is not cheap by any measure, it is an outstanding school or work machine, and its VALUE matches its price. I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone who is looking for a stylish, well-built, powerful, and eminently functional Windows laptop.

Wow, where do I even begin with this new Samsung Galaxy Book6 Pro? I've been eyeing a new laptop for a while, and after some serious thought and maybe a little convincing of the wife, I finally pulled the trigger on this 16-inch beast. From the moment I unboxed it, I was really impressed. The thing just looks slick, you know? It’s super thin, barely takes up any space on my desk, and that gray finish is just so elegant without being flashy. It feels really premium in your hands too, not flimsy at all despite how slim it is. Getting it set up was a breeze, and right away I could tell this machine was going to be fast. I mean, genuinely zippy. I'm talking about booting up in seconds, applications snapping open instantly, and multitasking without a hiccup. My old laptop felt like it was moving through molasses compared to this. It's got that new Intel Core Ultra 7 chip, and whatever magic Samsung and Intel put in there, it's definitely doing its job. Even when I'm running a bunch of tabs, streaming some sports, and trying to get some work done, it doesn't even break a sweat. It just handles everything I throw at it with ease, which is a huge relief when you’re constantly juggling family stuff and work. And the screen, oh man, the screen is something else entirely. This 16-inch 3K Dynamic AMOLED 2X display is just gorgeous. Everything looks so vibrant and crisp, whether I'm looking at family photos, watching a movie with the kids, or even just working on spreadsheets. The colors pop, and the blacks are truly black, which really makes a difference. Plus, it’s a touch screen, which I honestly didn't think I'd use that much, but it's come in handy more times than I expected. My kids love tapping around on it when they're playing a simple game or watching cartoons. The 120Hz refresh rate also makes everything super smooth, from scrolling through webpages to watching fast-paced videos. It's also supposed to have this "Vision Booster" thing, which really helps when I'm trying to work out on the patio on a sunny day. I can actually see what I’m doing without constantly squinting, which is a blessing. Now, let's talk about the sound. I've always had pretty low expectations for laptop speakers; they're usually just adequate for video calls and nothing more. But these speakers on the Galaxy Book6 Pro? Seriously impressive. They're surprisingly good, delivering a much fuller and richer sound than I ever anticipated from such a thin device. I can actually enjoy music or watch a movie without immediately reaching for my headphones or an external speaker. It’s a small detail, but it makes a big difference for daily use, especially when the family gathers around to watch something together. This thing has quickly become our go-to for casual media consumption in the living room. It's truly versatile for all kinds of family fun. But the real showstopper for me, and I can't stress this enough, is the battery life. It's absolutely amazing. I’m talking about going through an entire workday, doing presentations, answering emails, browsing, and still having plenty of juice left to watch a movie or two in the evening without plugging it in. Samsung says it can go up to 30 hours, and while I haven't timed it scientifically, it definitely feels like it lasts forever compared to any other laptop I've owned. This level of battery freedom is a total game-changer. I don't have to constantly hunt for an outlet or carry a bulky charger everywhere, which is great for travel or just moving around the house without hassle. The new centered haptic touchpad is also pretty neat; it feels really good to use. Plus, being a Copilot+ PC means it's ready for all the new AI features, which is cool for future stuff. Overall, this laptop just perfectly blends into my busy life, handling everything from serious work to keeping the family entertained. It's been a great investment, and I truly couldn't be happier with how well it performs and how versatile it is.

This laptop suprised me. I was not expecting much. Whereas I have been using and setting up my work laptops with the exact same chip. The processor is a workhorse and I have no issues with it. This is my first Samsung laptop and I have to say I am very impressed by it so far. The unboxing is pretty minimal, which is awesome. Almost everything can be recycled. Also a great thing is that the power cord is a fast charger you get with anyone familiar with Samsung phones. It's not a big brick like other laptops I work with and have, which is actually a great thing when you think about it. When using it outside your home, you want a very portable device. I mean when you read that this is a 16 inch laptop, I initially didn't think I would be able to use it as a portable device. However, I was gladly proven wrong. This Book6 Pro is very portable and lightweight, the charging cord and outlet plug is not big as a brick. So this can go into a bag pretty easily. When you initially set this up, the first thing I noticed was how the display is so bright and crisp. It's a pleasure to look at. The boot up is super simple, even lifting the screen from the closed position can be done with one finger, just be slow and constant and use the weight of the laptop be the anchor while you lift the screen. The other tibits for this is because it is a Samsung, you can connect your Samsung account and internet things onto it. Copilot is a great companion on it as well. Everything worked as it should. I connected to my wifi instantly, no issues there. While the sound is actually really good, I normally throw bluetooth headsets to connect with it and every headphone I used connected without issues. Browsing was super fast and everything is what you want with a proper laptop. There is a very big track pad which is haptic and can be adjusted. How you may ask? Well the audible click when you click the track pad can be made louder with a setting, which is honestly, kind of cool which I didn't expect much, being this machine being the first I have used with a haptic trackpad. My only gripe, is a personal preference gripe. No number pad. I find it weird being that a 16 inch machine does not have it, but it is not a dealbreaker. Unless you are in finance and need a num pad. I guess you can get a BT one to add one if you really want one. Would I recommend it? Yes! It's a solid machine with everything I threw at it for a week. The battery is boasted as 30 hours or whatever, which is not realistic in my usage. I can get maybe 4 to 5 days off charger, but when you plug it in with fast charging, it charges super quick.

The Samsung Galaxy Book6 Pro is a very slim laptop. It comes with a minimalistic case in grey with a small monochromatic Samsung logo embossed on the front. There's an HDMI and two usb-c ports on the lower left side, the usb is also used for charging. The right side has usb 3.2 and a headphone jack. Opening the display is stiff, which means wherever you open it to, it'll stay there without flopping closed. The keyboard is the standard model, with a large touchpad below it. On both sides of the keyboard are speakers (and two more on the base of the computer). The power button which also doubles as fingerprint access is on the upper right corner of the keys, it is a blank key. The display is a touchscreen with the camera at the top and a mic on either side of it. The camera is a bit grainy and has a bit of lag when movement is made. When the camera is on there's a little green indicator light that illuminates. Setup was so very easy as with most computers, it has Edge as the browser, which runs seamlessly. And the Copilot Chat has an icon in the upper right corner. I went to the Microsoft store, downloaded a few apps including Paramount+ and Hulu so I could hear/see how well movies play. The sound is good for a computer. It gives a bit of spatial awareness to me, as opposed to Atmos, with the two speakers on the top and on the bottom sides. The movie flows without any glitches. Depending on your internet provider your speed can be pretty impressive while gaming. This is a nice option if you get tired of your phones small screen. I have a Samsung phone that I was able to connect with the Galaxy Book, which allows me to answer my phone from it. I'm very happy with the Book6 Pro

After using the Galaxy Book 6 Pro, I've been really impressed with its performance and design. The first thing that stands out is the display. The AMOLED screen is incredibly sharp, bright, and vibrant, definitely one of the best laptop displays I've used. Whether I'm working on documents, watching videos, or multitasking, everything looks crisp and easy on the eyes. Performance-wise, the laptop is fast and responsive. It handles multiple applications, web browsing, and everyday work tasks without any noticeable lag. It feels reliable and efficient, which is exactly what I need for day-to-day use. Battery life has also been an awesome strong point. I can comfortably get through a full day of work without needing to recharge, which makes it great for travel or long work sessions away from an outlet. Overall, I would highly recommend the Samsung Galaxy Book 6 Pro to anyone looking for a high-quality, portable laptop with excellent display and battery life. It's a great choice for professionals, students, and everyday users.
