She was looking for great features in a simple, easy to use and read new phone. Kevin explained every advantage and we convinced her of going with an smart phone this time, he even programmed the phone for her with the easy mode. She can't be more happy with her phone. She loves to take pictures, selfies and video chats without getting lost with complicated features.

I purchased this phone because I needed a phone ASAP. So far so good and I like how easy it is to navigate. It doesn't have as many features as my previous phone had but for the price you pay you get a really reliable phone that does pretty much everything you need it to. Plus, you can always buy a memory card to increase the storage. I think it would make for a perfect starter phone.

Went from flip phones to this. Still figuring out the settings, so far so good. Takes nice pictures. Battery life could be better but when you're used to a flip phone that would need recharging every couple of weeks I understand this phone is always searching for apps which uses a lot more battery.

Good phone for a beginner easy to use light weight good pictures

I bought this for my mom. She's elderly and Samsung's easy mode is perfect for her. As well, the phone was very reasonably priced with all the bells and whistles Samsung is known for. Love it!

Got this phone for my son. It is his first phone. It is easy to use and has decent features. Never had any complaints with Samsung phones.

This is a great affordable phone from Samsung. It is very close to the Galaxy S7 phone without the higher cost. I recommend this phone.

I bought this phone to keep my monthly bill low. Has good graphics and is loaded with extra options. I am trying to remove all the extra programs it has in order to get better battery life. It does have a good sized battery with it and it will normally run a full day of use on a charge. Ebay , facebook, yahoo.mail, and most apps work very well. I use this as a business phone , so it runs non stop. I will probably add a screen cover and case to make it more durable next month. Not bad price after store discount and sprint discount. Paid under 100 for everything.

I really like my Galaxy J3. It basically does what the more expensive fancy phones do but with a much cheaper price. The picture quality is excellent. I would recommend this phone for anyone.

I got this phone because it was relatively cheap but it works great. I switched from the S5 to this and I like it just fine. Battery life is great, ease of use is fine and you can transfer previous phone info through the cloud of gmail. Some pictures were lost but I was able to USB transfer them.

Despite some technical issues initially with setting up location and battery saver and it working with different apps, this phone has turned out to be a great first phone for near teenager.

Product seems to be an updated S5, functions as expected. It is a pretty good deal for a functional phone. However being a Samsung expect all the quirks, gimmicks and bloatware.

If you're looking for a phone that's affordable but still has that Samsung quality, this is the phone for you! I've been using it for about two weeks now and I have no complaints.

I am still learning how to operate the camera. It is pretty easy to operate and figure it out. Very satisified to this point. Can't wait to learn more.

This is a great phone and easy to use. My husband has a hard time with using electronics but, as he only uses this to make and receive phone calls this is perfect for him.

Considering the deal I got on the phone I really should not have anything negative to say, but with that being said I am not impressed with the low battery life. Also nothing came with the phone (i.e. earplug), other than that the appears to work okay. I am pretty satisfied with the phone, but will definitely be saving towards the purchase of a newer Galaxy as i really do love Galaxy!
