Made the jump from s8 to s20. Screen is great as expected (120hz really is noticeable). Superfast charging means this phone charges from low battery to full within an hour. Battery has been great for me with 120 hz on (about 5-6 hrs sot, but i also don't take many pictures or use social media at all so take that as you will). Camera is great. In-screen fingerprint sensor is a bit slower than a typical fingerprint sensor, but i mostly rely on face unlock so not a big deal. I was afraid the camera hump would be prominent but it's quite subtle and not an eye sore. One UI 2.1 is really clean and responsive; i like it, but I've always liked One UI so i may be biased. In-box headphones sound pretty good. I just read that this phone will be receiving 3 major updates as opposed to just 2 on previous phones so that's a win. Overall a great phone.

Great phone - very fast with 12 GB RAM, awesome display, tons of storage (upgradable with micro SD expansion slot), great camera, and very good battery life (can go a day and a half on 1 charge that takes less than an hour). Would definitely recommend.

This is the best phone I have ever owned including 3 versions of iPhone. The 5G is truly and improvement that makes a difference. Graphics are great, sound quality is excellent (for a phone) and the addition of a screen protector (out of the box) is really neat. Like my previous phone (Galaxy S8), it is easy to use and comfortable in the hand with an added protector case (Otter Box in my case). If there is a negative for the Galaxy in general, it would be the Android operating system. When Samsung pushes updates, they often make significant changes that change the user experience; sometimes for the better, but often-times worse. Samsung is terrible at communicating changes and their affects and can be very difficult to contact to address issues (I'm not sure Apple was much better). Bottom line, I would definitely purchase this phone again!

this phone is way better than my old phone and better then my other friends phones when I compare it to iPhones Its fast and reliable, has multiple features on it that I use, it charges in less than an hour which is great for someone like me who is always on the go and is in need of a quick charge. Speaking of the battery it lasts long i could go a whole day and it wouldn't die. The speaker is so good on this phone as well. I was watching a show and like it was so loud and clear like I was watching a movie. My only gripe really is the 5g. Yea it's new so I'll be patient but in certain places like a train or even on the bus when I'm moving at a certain speed, the internet kinda dips but the phone itself makes up for it by instantly doing the thing you needed when it goes back. And the design is slick and the camera quality is so good it's like a mirror but I think this review is long enough so I'll end it here. All and all great phone and I think samsung really popped off and put their best work into this

I'm a long time Samsung phone user and they still don't disappoint. Camera is better than most other brands. This is the selling point for me. Easy to use. Great battery life. I charge every other day with moderate use. Would definitely recommend.

Upgraded from the S8. The battery is long lasting and the camera takes great photos. It's a great phone and only slightly bigger than the S8.

Samsung is showing promise with this new model, the battery life is greatly improved and the new camera, far surpasses previous versions. The price tag is kind of steep, however, it is possible to find a better price for it here on best buy. (never buy your phone from the carrier).

OK I got this phone for my wife and she loved it so much all I heard about was how great the pictures are that it takes and how fast it is and now I should get a better phone like hers. Perfect! It comes with ear buds, a super fast c-type charger and a Factory screen protector that I recommend replacing.

Great camera, big display, 5G enabled, lots of space at 128GB. Screen protector is not so great. Enjoy using the phone so far.

Absolutely love the S20! Upgraded from an S7. I never buy the current model, but I wanted to get a phone that supported 5G because I'm sure it'll become standard one day. The display is beautiful, and it runs so smoothly!

I pre-ordered this at the height of the hype and traded in my iPhone XS to get a special break on the price. A phone's camera and smart assistant are the two most important factors for me, but unfortunately, the S20 disappointed me on both points. The camera's HDR processing blows out bright spots, and although pictures taken at 10X are okay, the 30X option is hopelessly pixelated and grainy (read: "pure marketing hype"). By comparison, the pictures my iPhone produced had a much better balanced HDR processing resulting in more realistic and pleasing pictures. When I drive, I keep my phone dash-mounted and rely on phone's virtual assistant to handle things for me. Here again, Google Assistant on the S20 disappoints. When I received a text message, I asked the assistant to read my last message. It replied with "you have no new messages." I reworded the command a few times, but Google Assistant on the S20 was completely unable to see or read my incoming text messages. When I asked the assistant to play my driving playlist, it said "sure" but then said "Oops! Something went wrong. You'll have to do that using the app." These are things Siri could easily do on my iPhone. When I was getting ready for bed and wanted to change my wake up alarm time, I asked Google Assistant to do that for me, but it rudely responded with "you can do that yourself using the app." Again, this is something Siri has no trouble doing for me. After about 2 or 3 weeks of really trying to like this phone, I simply couldn't justify the price for the experience and I sold it. I went back to the iPhone, this time picking up the iPhone 11 Pro, and haven't been happier. No more disappointments.

I got this phone on March 8th because I needed a new phone. I had the Samsung Galaxy S8 and I've been with Samsung for a while, but my phone was starting to get old and really bad battery life. I've been getting about 2 days usage out of this phone's battery life if not more, and I love it. Not to mention there's a load of other features that I haven't even had the chance to use yet.

Traded in my Samsung 7 edge for Galaxy S20 with no regrets. Sharp screen and I love the camera. Plenty of storage. Bestbuy made it easy by transferring all my data from my S7 to my S20. Very happy with this phone.

I've had this phone for 3 months and am still looking for a negative. No Bixby button. Yay! Best looking screen, top 3 camera, 120 Hz, all day battery. This phone will likely last me 3-4 years.

My wife and I each bought one. Though reluctant to go through the process of transferring data, passwords, a learning curve and making payments on a phone again, the Galaxy S20 5G is many times faster than our previous model. This is the best smartphone I've had. Not pleased with Bixby thinking it heard me activate it while I was making a public presentation over a public address system. It said to me and to the audience that it didn't understand me, and I replied that I didn't understand it either.

I was in need of an upgrade. I have an S7 before this that had really slowed down. This one had instant speed. Camera is nice and the sound quality works for me.

This is my 5th Galaxy phone, started with the 7. Storage is incredible and the phone is super fast. Nobody could be anything other than thrilled with this device.
