Q: Can you add memory like an SD card?
A: Unfortunately there is no slot for expandable media such as an sd card, micro or otherwise. With that being said though, the phone is capable of adding more storage through it's usb-c port. All you need is a USB-C male to usb-A female dongle with a MicroSD storage chip with a USB style converter, or a USB jump drive, or any form of storage device with a USB-A or USB-C output that does not need to be powered by an external power source and it will work. I've got a 5in1 USB-C accessories hub with a built-in SD card reader that I use for any additional storage I might need and it works flawlessly. Just don't forget to unmount the storage device from the notification bar before unplugging it so as not to cause any data to be corrupt from a write sequence being interrupted. Hope this helped! A: Either or, if you have service you can just pay for it and activate it. I just purchased it and activated it.
