Best choice for phone
I'm very excited to expound on the great abilities of the S22 Ultra! It's of no negative consequences to use, and easy to navigate its options, it gets all updates very frequent, and I LOVE it extremely for its 5G speed, I play my favorite game "Soul Calibur" explicitly, even though I have fully downloaded over 300 high gig content choices from the Google PlayStore...I've come from the S20 5G platform, so it's great to come up to the next level of user experience! I don't forsee myself changing to ANY other phone platform as I'm very much in love with the S22 Ultra! PS: don't forget to use the Tech21 ultra slim protection cover, it's my favorite also!

Not a major paradigm shift, but vibrations are bad
It's a phone that exists. Not a major paradigm shift except in that it brings back the Note line - which many knew wasn't dead, just taking a break due to the chip shortage last year & an attempt to make a sold-separately S Pen in the S21U. I'm glad they returned to form, I love that they changed the camera array to not be the personally ugly mess the S21 line and S22/S22+ use. Also very much appreciate bringing all the colorways to every configuration, instead of forcing those who want more storage to only get it in black. Coming from a Note 10+, anything's an upgrade, though. The battery life doesn't feel better than what I had - but also not worse. I am running on high resolution and 120 hz constantly though, with gaming and otherwise heavy use and still ending each day with 20-30% battery. Where this phone really stings and where I have to dink points - because honestly if I could get back my old phone I traded in for this, I would - is the vibration. Some will regurgitate Samsung and say it's "more precise," but the shift from a horizontal to a vertical motor (might have that backwards but honestly I don't care) has resulted in the weakest vibrations. I often can't tell that my phone - with vibration intensity turned to 100% - is buzzing from a text or call even from right in front of it. I have missed countless alarms and even woken up late for work once because of it - and the thing is, sound doesn't wake me; the shake of the vibration has for close to a decade now. Now I need to reenable volume for my ringer and notifications because this vibration thing is absolute garbage. If you rely on vibrations on your device, I strongly recommend waiting for next year if you can. Hopefully, they roll it back with the S23U.

Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra 512GB
While I like the phone, I only had to upgrade because my Note 9 was failing. I do not like that there is no micro SD card slot. I had to get the 512 because I already had 260GB in use on my old phone. Charging is hit an miss with chargers that are not plugged in. Swapping to the new phone worked well enough.

Good/Fast working phone!
This device does have a slight heating problem but that's okay since it sits in front of my air conditioning vent in my car to keep it cool while I drive for Uber/Lyft. I love how I can use the multi-window feature from Samsung to manage the 3 primary apps I use: Uber Driver app, Lyft Driver app, and Google Maps.
