This phone is easy to use, even for us old folks, who are not tech savvy. Even the camera takes great pictures.

I love this phone! The camera takes really great close ups. Zooming out it seems a little fuzzy. I have tried everything, so I just don't zoom so far out. Great videos though! Love all the things it does! There is just about no end to all it can do! The battery doesn't hold a charge as long as I would like., but hey, I can't complain to much...

Initially loved the phone and all its features. Camera took great pics until 6 days before its one month anniversary, I turned on the camera and got the message "Unfortunately Camera has stopped." Two days later it would say, "Warning, Camera Failed". After speaking with both Samsung Rep at Best Buy and Verizonn by phone, Samsung went through all the trouble shooting steps .all the way to factory reset. AND it still won't work. Now I have to send it back under warranty to repair. Samsung, nor Best Buy provide a courtesy phone to use during the 12 or so days it will be gone. I''m not a happy camper. A camera should not fail in first month. No drops, cracks, water damage... Nothing!

My S7 is a Verizon phone. Verizon has very good coverage in our area, so we don't get many dropped calls or other problems with phone calls. I didn't expect to have any phone issues with the S7, and I didn't. * The S7 has an IPX rating of IP68. That means that the phone is dust tight and can be submerged in water up to a 5-foot depth for a half hour. To my knowledge, no other consumer grade smartphone can make that claim. (I have no intention of testing the waterproof claim, but it's comforting to know that the phone designers considered water-tightness to be so important.) * I really like the size of the S7. I once tried a phablet, and I didn't care for the larger size and weight. At 5.6"x2.7"x0.3", weighing 5.3 ounces, the S7 is a nice compromise between portability and ease of use and screen size. It fits easily in my pants or jacket pockets. * A big battery - 3000mAh - is one of the highest capacity batteries I've seen in a smartphone this size. I haven't had any problem getting a day's worth of use out of the phone between rechargings. * The cameras are especially good, with fast autofocus and sharp photos with good color saturation and contrast. I haven't really challenged the image stabilization feature yet, but it's an unexpectedly nice feature for a smartphone camera. The rear camera has 12.2 MP resolution (4032x3024). It also shoots 4K video recordings at 30 fps, 1080p at 60 fps, 720p at 240 fps. * I like the always-on display, which can be customized to your own preferences (or turned off). I left mine in the default configuration, which means I can check the time and battery condition while the phone is in stand-by mode without pressing any buttons. * I don't have a wireless charger yet, but I'm looking forward to using that feature of the S7. The S7 does include a 5V/2A AC charger and a USB charging cable. * The Quad HD Super AMOLED display is simply stunning for its clarity and brightness. At 5.1" (diagonal) with 1440x2560 resolution, it's the best display that I've personally seen on a smartphone. * The micro SD card slot is invaluable for expanding the S7's memory, especially for storage of videos, photos, and music. It's easy to remove the card holder using a little tool that comes with the phone. So that's my quick take on the Galaxy S7. It's a remarkably powerful phone with tons of features. It's easily the best smartphone that I've used.

I upgraded from a galaxy s4 and was very satisfied. The S7 is so much faster and it also had a SD card slot for extra memory. The camera is crystal clear and this phone is water resistant up to 5 feet around 30mins. The battery life is also great. I highly recommend this phone if you're looking for a good phone.

I was upgrading from a Galaxy S5 which, like many others, suffered greatly from the Lollipop update in terms of performance and battery life. You can imagine my elation with the S7's improved specs, battery capacity & management, and Marshmallow. And since I skipped the S6, I never had to do without my SD card or not being waterproof. Out of the box, and now a month and a half later loaded with a good number of apps, photos, and videos, it performs buttery smooth. The camera is highly responsive, voice call quality is great, and when you're done it will sip on the battery and easily get you through the day under most circumstances. Held up fantastic on a recent vacation to our 50th state. It is beautiful to hold be behold. Quality materials, thought and design that easily rivals the latest iPhones. And, while the Edge version eliminates side bezels altogether, this standard form factor still has smaller bezels than the S5 had, sides *and* top. In fact, length & width-wise it's smaller than the S5, though ever-so-slightly thicker & heavier. Watch it: it is SLICK! Get yourself, at least, a minimalist case for better grip and to protect the gorilla glass back. Also: be *very* careful which tempered glass protector you choose... ALL but a few actually take into account the front glass's rounded edges. Cons: can't remove the battery, no IR blaster, shows off fingerprints very easily.... but these are all EASY compromises. Grateful to have a top tier phone that really does 'just work'.

The Galaxy S7 has good performance in all categories. It is the perfect size, not too big not too small. Excellent screen quality. Great camera. Powerful processor. What more could you ask for.

This has been the best Galaxy phone I have owned so far. I've used the Galaxy s3, Galaxy s5, Galaxy s6 Edge, and finally the Galaxy s7. I've seen the progression and im very happy where it has led to so far and cant wait to see future iterations. It has a great clear screen, calls are nice and loud, best battery life, and the best camera I have ever seen on a smartphone. Granted I've only used Galaxy and iPhone and only borrowed other android phones for quick picture taking comparisons. The build quality is on part with other phones in its price range and the added feature of water resistant is a plus. The performance is unbelievable and have yet to experience any issues with it. Any first time android user will definitely be pleasantly surprised with this phone. It definitely takes a bit of exploring to truly appreciate the technology that Android/samsung has to offer and if that fits your style it's definitely the phone for you. If you want a stable phone with reliable performance, this is also the phone for you.

this is a great overall phone. after about a week, the battery really settled in and is doing as well as my Note 4. coming from the Note, it was hard to adjust to the smaller size again, but it's nice to have a more portable phone. screen is great, although with AMOLED it's really hard to get a perfect screen, so mine has a bit of discoloration/screen uniformity issues where the upper right corner is darker than the rest of the phone, but after reading people's horror stories with returning the s6 for a perfect phone, i didn't want to deal with it, so i'll keep this one. either way, it's a very fast phone, the camera is great, and gear VR is real cool!

I absolutely love the Galaxy S7. My previous phone was and S4 and Samsung has come a long way since then. This phone is so easy to use and is much faster than my old phone. The battery life is amazing.

I am an andriod girl thru and thru, I stand by this OS and will never switch to iOS. The phone is very fast to react and I love having the Always On Display (which doesn't take much battery at all!). The camera takes amazing photos compared to that of my Galaxy S5 that I had before. I mainly bought this phone for the camera in low light options. I will be traveling a lot in the next year and also needed a battery that would last me more than a day. This battery has been amazing so far! I still have about 60% when I am done with work! I do like the fact that it's water resistant, so I don't have to worry about the rain or it being by the sink when I am doing the dishes.

To say that I am pleased with this phone would be a bit of an understatement. It does just everything I am looking for in a smartphone, and came with a super pricing package (Free Wireless Charger + $300 Best Buy Gift Card), which makes it well worth the price I am paying. The camera is excellent, and my photos come out great. Even in low-light conditions, it performs well. The battery will last a full work-day, though I am not a power user (I work from home, so most of my tasks include sending a few texts, checking e-mail, and at times making calls). Perhaps my favorite feature this phone offers over my previous Samsung experience (Note 4) is the Fingerprint Reader. With the Note 4, I had to swipe my finger over the home button, sometimes several times before it picked up my fingerprint. It was slow at best, and often did not work at all (forcing me to use my PIN to get in). With the S7, the Fingerprint Reader recognizes me almost instantly. I used to just have the phone launch without any security . . . now I have excellent security, but don't waste time getting in. The fast charging cable works extremely well . . . though I haven't timed it myself, it seems to go from 50% back up to 100% in about 30 minutes. Very convenient. Like most Android users, I am happy that they brought back the ability to add a microSD Card . . . giving me all of the memory that I need. Now, bring back the swap-able battery. Two minor issues I have with the phone (actually, they are more of a software issue): When I try to crop photos I have just taken, it is now a two-step process: 1.) Hit the "Edit" button . . . then wait a moment or two and . . . 2.) Hit the "Crop" icon. It used to be a one-step process on the Note 4, so this is very annoying to me (things should go faster with less steps, not go slower with newer technology). The second annoying issue is the periodic popup asking me about upgrading the "Gaming Function" or something like that. I'm not into gaming, so it's not something I care about. Unfortunately, I only have two options: 1.) Later 2.) Update How about a "Don't ask again" choice? With the upcoming release of the S8, it looks like the pricing on the S7 has come down even further (when paying monthly), with a couple of hundred dollars in gift cards. That makes this a great option if you are looking for an excellent phone, but don't need the absolute latest.

The Samsung Galaxy S7 is unparalleled in the quality that it offers. It's hard to describe but the screen clarity, the responsiveness of the processor, the overall experience keeps me informed keeps me entertained and organized. It offers features like Sound Alive that allows you to tailor the sound to your ear and it changes the way you hear everything whole using, crystal clear. It expands the Android universe and allows for Endless creativity. I prefer the cinema mode especially when late night binging is needed. I love my Galaxy S7.

The S7 is everything I thought it'd be, and then some. The CPU is lightening fast and not at the expense of the battery! The screen quality is outstanding, and the memory management in the latest version of Android is much improved as well. If I could change one thing, it would just be the weight of the device (big battery).

This is EXACTLY the phone I have been waiting for- a water-resistant Samsung. I have this phone in a Otter Box Defender case so water and impacts should be no problem. I fish on a small, open boat for a living so this phone is perfect for my application. Battery life is excellent so not having a removable battery is not an issue. Samsung moved the sleep/power button down some from being directly across from the volume buttons so now you don't accidentally turn the phone off when changing volume (or change volume when putting the phone to sleep). Daytime viewing in sunlight is vastly improved (from S4). Camera is very fast to snap image, and of course resolution is over-kill. I paid $100.00 for this phone (with 2-year Verizon contract) and it came with a free inductive charger which is a fantastic accessory! When you would normally just set your phone down in the kitchen, and not go to the trouble of plugging in the charger, just set it down on the inductive charger and a tone is heard confirming charging status! I haven't used the corded charger at all! Great! I put a 128GB Amplim micro SD card in ($40.00 Amazon) so memory is over-kill as well. Top that, Apple! Never have been a fan of iphones, but I do like the ipads (with wireless capability). Iphones rate consistently bad every year on ...guess what...being a PHONE! Basics such as talking and listening are always poorly rated. Onle last thought, a phone any larger than this Samsung S7 is too large for me to carry in my pocket, and that goes for other Samsung products as well such as Note, etc. Just my 3 cents worth. This phone works well for me.
