Q: Can you use this item with a phone number through your carrier?
A: Yes, you have to sign up for a new phone number through your carrier
Q: Is there a place on the tablet to dock the s pen?
A: There is a space on the back of the tablet where the pen can be docked (this will also charge the pen). Alternatively, you can get a book case or a keyboard book case both of which have spots to hold the pen.
Q: is it possible to use Excel, Word, or Powerpoint on the S7?
A: If it's in the app store it should be useable.

A: Yes it has a micro sd slot

A: No
A: The S7+ is larger. S7 is 11" and the S7+ is I think 12.7". For the difference in price the S7 is fine.

A: Yes
A: Any Android w/ @ least a 10.5" screen @ removable, upgradable storage. I prefer Samsung, but Acer is a manufacturer..
