A: Yes this does have a micro SD card slot.

A: I think you are asking "Can I use this tablet with my cellphone providers WiFi?” The answer is NO, this tablet can not be used with cellphone service. You need to buy one at your cellphone company store that is built to use cellphone service, but those models will cost you a lot more. But if you travel a lot, then using a cellphone service model (at a much higher cost) will be worth it to you since you will have ALWAYS ON Internet service no matter where you are. If I read your question incorrectly and meant to ask "Will this tablet work with my cellphone's Wifi if I tether it?” (Assuming you know how to tether devices to your phone) Then the Answer is YES. I have tethered my tablet to my phone using WiFi and it works quite well.

A: No. Samsung recommends customers use an OEM headphone dongle. It has something to do with the fit of the connector. I use a AKG USB-C headphone.

A: It depends on what tablet model you get, now if you're talking about the internal Ram, for the Samsung Galaxy S7 plus tablet it comes in two versions, the lower models like the 128gb model is 6gb of RAM and the other version the 256 GB model is also 6gb of RAM but the 512gb model the highest version is 8GB of RAM. Q: is there a military discount on this tablet?
A: I dont believe best buy gives Military Discounts to us. But if you go look at the Samsung website, they have a discount that significantly drops the price. You have to go through the Government identification site "ID ME" so they can confirm youre status as a vet, but that doesnt take long, its a near 100 dollar reduction in price.
Q: Will this Samsung 7+ USB port support an OTG type C thumb drive?

A: I'm pretty sure you can still get a warranty for a open box tablet, because all these tablet have warranties from Samsung, just because the tablet is used or in a open box does not mean it doesn't have a warranty, if you really want to make sure, the warranty is still valid, just ask Best Buy, if the warranty is valid on that tablet. Or call up Samsung, the number is 1-800-Samsung. And give them all your information, like your phone number, email address, and name. They will ask you for your model number of your tablet and other certain information, then they can look up the warranty, and tell you everything about the warranty. But all in a nutshell more than likely the open box tablet has a warranty. Or you can purchase Geek Squad warranty. The only difference between an extended warranty is that certain damages to the tablet, will not be accepted, such as water damage, or opening up your tablet damage, which will void the warranty. Geek Squad warranty covers almost all damages, of course for a extra price but in the long run it will be well worth it. But if you are tight on funds. Your tablet already has a one year warranty.
