This is my 3rd Windows Tablet and I'm very pleased with my upgrade. My first tablet was an Atom based ASUS, nice and light, good battery life, but was not great for multi-media. My 2nd was a 64G Surface Pro 2. Great performance, and connectivity, but it weighed about the same as my work Lenovo Laptop, which was a disappointment. The Tabpro S has solved the issue between light, and powerful. It has been a joy to use, great screen, great battery life (getting 8+ hours), nice and light. Performance has been great, the screen is just about the right size for accessing my work apps on the road or at home. The Tab also charges very quickly, just a couple of hours for a full charge. I've also added a Microsoft a bluetooth mouse, so I can use this as my desk top as well. All of my legacy apps loaded without issue, and everything has been functioning great, even apps from 2005. The single USB C port is a mixed blessing. I learned that this is like Apple's Macbook which also has only a single port, but plugging in a USB drive was not an option until I purchased the USB C Multi-Port Adapter (just available) from Samsung. I purchased an adapter made for the Apple, the HDMI and USB port worked, but the pass through charging port did not, so I returned it and waited for the Samsung product to be released, and now have one in my possession. The keyboard is great, but I did have an issue with the keyboard, not mechanical, but cosmetic, and it occurred within a month of owning the Tab. If this was a review for Samsung customer service I would give I 1 star as it was an infuriating experience that got literally no where. They wanted me to send the tablet and keyboard back to Samsung for service, all I wanted was a replacement keyboard and that was not going to happen after spending hours talking to off-shore service reps. I finally got to a U.S. based rep, could not get any satisfaction. I added a photo to show the defect. Thank god for my local Best Buy, they swapped the keyboard without an issue. So 5 Stars for Best Buy - 0 Stars for Samsung. I actually would have given the Tab 4.5 stars, but I can't so i am giving it 5 since I really like this Tab. BTW, I bought my wife a Surface Pro 4 with an i5 and my usage performance is the same for both Tabs, battery life is better in the Tabpro, however I do like the Surface keyboard a little better. This will be a keeper for a while, writing this review on it as well.

Samsung gets an A+++ on concept and design. They get a straight C on execution. The Good: This tablet is as gorgeous as the reviews say. It is incredibly thin and very well made. Of course the display also lives up to the hype. The AMOLED screen is absolutely to die for. Second to none. The M3 processor is also very snappy and performed just fine for my day to day activities which include heavy usage of PowerPoint, MS Word, Excel and Outlook. No lag at all. Performs way better than my i5 Surface Pro 3 which I wasn't expecting. The not so good/bad: Samsung did a really poor job of implementing the USB-C standard. Most current USB-C hubs so far including the Dell Dock, the HP Elite USB-C, HooToo, Aukey and more don't work well. Update on this: Last week Samsung finally made their version available - for $89! Good news is that it works well. I also pre-ordered the OWC USB-C hub with HDMI. It just came out last week and it works great - but it is way overpriced. The device sporadically goes into a coma and won't wake up until I fiddle with the Power button, the volume down button, etc. Once it goes into it's coma, you can't wake it back up with the power plugged in. Strange... I also experienced way too many crashes and reboots including both the blue screen of death and the rarely seen red screen of death. Hopefully the Samsung engineers will catch up quickly with some much needed BOIS patches and driver updates to have this work as intended. Buyer beware. I'll most likely be keeping the device on a leap of faith that the bugs will be worked out. Sadly that means I need to keep my Surface for a while longer as well.

Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Inexpensive, super amoled display Cons: horrible (non-existent) palm rejection, included keyboard is not very comfortable, the c-pen is not comfortable at all. The Good: The screen is gorgeous, it’s the perfect size, and it would be great for note taking (which is the primary reason I bought it.) The performance, for the M3 chip, is quite acceptable for light office usage/note taking (see below how horrible that is!) Battery life and boot time are both very good. The bad: No 4G-LTE option in the USA. No expansion ports (except for the single USB-C port.) They surely could have fit a Micro-SD slot in there somewhere, especially given that the device only has a 128 GB SSD. 4 GB of RAM is also “low-end” in this day and age. 8-16 GB of RAM would be a whole lot more appealing. To expand on the USB-C problem; I have tried several different hubs that provide power as well as USB-A/SD ports. However, I’ve yet to find one that will support fast charging (or charging at all) while using the included ports. Also, I’ve found that the USB-C port is quite flaky. Sometimes, I have to turn the plug over, or jiggle it a bit get it to be seen properly by the tablet. Sometimes, the tablet flat out refuses to see what’s plugged in in the USB-C port. The ugly: Palm rejection is horrendous, if not non-existent. I have been taking notes on tablets since the very first Samsung Note 10.1, then migrating to the Note Pro 12.2. They both had excellent palm rejection, and I never had any problem (other than the hobbled version of OneNote available on Android.) I then migrated to the Microsoft Surface book. Its pen was extremely comfortable and palm rejection was excellent. I also have an iPad Pro 12.9 and its palm rejection is flawless as well. Which brings me to the TabPro S. The pen itself is much less comfortable than the 1st and/or 3rd party pens that were available on ALL of the aforementioned tablets. On the TabPro S, I get erratic lines from where my palm touches the screen, sometime a line zips across the screen from my palm to where the pen is touching the screen. This is heart-breaking as I’d REALLY love to be using the TabPro S as my primary note taker (with the full-blown MS Office OneNote 2016.) As it stands, I’m back to using my iPad Pro as my primary note taking device, while holding out some hope that Samsung will figure out how to get palm rejection right. Should that happen, I will instantly be back to using the TabPro S for note taking. It also seems that Samsung does not have it together when it comes to this tablet. The nightmare reports of Samsung customer service reps saying that there isn’t a pen for this tablet are ridiculous. Samsung needs to decide what they want to do with this tablet. Right now, it feels to me, like it’s being treated as a step-child or an experiment. It doesn’t seem to me like they are doing much advertising or promoting of this tablet, which, despite all of its flaws, is still a joy to use (for the things that work well on it.)

This Samsung Tabpro S is great! It powers up quickly and loads fast! The keyboard is a great INCLUDED FREE tool!! I personally would recommend this product to anyone considering a Surface or a lightweight designed laptop.

This is a great computer that almost gets it all right. It is super light, really fast, and smooth. The screen is beautiful. My only complaint is the single USB-C. You can't charge the computer and use an external drive. There are no USB-C hubs that will allow charging. If they would add a second USB-C and or USB 3 then I would recommend it.

I bought the tab s to use mostly when travelling. It is ideally suited for Web email and moderate Microsoft Office activity. The battery is amazing and the screen is as well. The single USB Cable port took some getting used to and I found a hub that offers VGA out and power input. The keyboard is tight and track pad takes getting used to. The fixed angle of the device with keyboard also takes getting used to. But once you are adjusted it is easy to use. One issue I did not foresee is the timeout for the screen to shut down. It is 10 mins or so max and that will not fly for presentation use. I am sure they will allow it to be adjusted someday.

Perfect size. Keyboard comes with computer, feels good, is part of protective cover, attaches with magnets, and easily removed from tablet. Beautiful, bright colors on screen. Mirrors home desktop. Lightweight. Easy transfer between other Samsung products. Cameras average. Would had liked an extra storage slot. Very happy with this product. Highly recommend.

Have had this a couple weeks. Seems nice so far, but I am partial to Samsung. Like that I can pair it with my Samsung Note 5 phone. Windows 10 makes it more versatile. I installed Office and QuickBooks. Setup is much like a computer, still not so sure about Windows10, I installed Classic Shell for more Windows7 look after getting frustrated struggling with Windows10. A really nice tablet, but don't like the keyboard, hard to touch type without looking with spacing of keys. Only other thing I'm disappointed about is only one usb port (type C). Disappointed about Samsung not having more ports and memory expansion slots, and now using batteries that are not easily changed. The one type C usb port requires that I use an adapter, type C to type A (or B). I've found it annoying & frustrating that many of my usb flash drives still don't fit securely into the Insignia adapter cable I purchased. Too much adjusting. The slim design of the tablet is nice, but I would rather sacrifice some of that to have more slots, a memory expansion slot and replaceable battery. The tablet works great, I'm just finding that the design lacks things I would rather have more than light weight and slimness. Can't have it charging and work from a usb flash drive at the same time. All in all, it's something that can be worked around, but with a $1,000 price tag (by the time you get done with tax and a protection plan), I would like not to have to deal with the frustration of only one usb port and it being a type C which needs to be adapted to all my other usb devices. I did a lot of research and comparing for two months and decided on the TabPro S instead of SurfacePro. It's definitely comparable to the Surface Pro except for the number of ports.

I like everything about this machine except its ability to import data thru the USB C interface. The adapter that comes with the charger is not fully functional as it will only allow charging. I bought an adapter and a 32gb memory stick and loaded the data I needed to transfer but the Samsung unit would not recognize the memory stick. It seems that the only way to import data is thru the Cloud which I do not want to do. Other than this issue, which I will continue to work on, it is a nice portable PC. I have a feeling that the problem lies with the Windows 10 OS . I would not recommend this to a friend until My issue is resolved.

This is a great little laptop/tablet for the busy traveler. I love the size and portability. It works and feels like a real laptop. It has become my laptop of choice when I travel. One negative is that the case only lets you work on the laptop with keyboard in one position, wish I had choices! Also, you have to get a converter to use an USB thumb drive with this machine. I picked one up for less than ten bucks on Amazon, so not a big deal though!

I am definitely happy with my purchase of the Samsung TabPro S. This is my first Windows tablet and I'm glad I went with Samsung. Pros: The display is phenomenal! Battery life is amazing (100% @ 7am to 20% at shutdown around 9pm with average use) Keyboard/Track pad/Case is responsive and functional CPU is responsive and can handle multitasking with ease Rear camera is decent Front camera is better Cons: One USB port (and it's Type-C) No memory expansion capabilities (Cant add an SD/MicroSD Card Limited SSD size

This is a great computer / tablet and with the keyboard included, the capabilities are tough to beat at the price point. I do wish it had more than the single connectivity port, I had to order the adapter from an alternate reseller. The performance is great, it is light and does an excellent job for office productivity uses. Windows 10 is a great mix between the features I loved on Windows 7 and the upgrades that came with Windows 8.1. The small amount of options for adding an additional monitor or docking station is the only drawback the reason for 4 out of 5 stars, instead of 5.

Perfect substitute when I don't want to lug around my laptop. I've moved most files to cloud, so I can access docs between the two systems. Beautiful screen (I added a tempered glass protector), fast enough for short work periods, nice for movies, lasts long enough, easy to carry, just needs a better keyboard.

Upgraded from Galaxy Note 2014, this new tablet is fantastic. It's lightweight, powerful, and comfortable. I purchased in Oklahoma City before leaving for Kuwait. I was a little nervous leaving my laptop home, but this has been a great experience. This is the first Windows 10 device, changing from 7 has been a little difficult, but this TabProS is extremely easy to use. Have it connected to a 32" LED TV and it runs both perfectly. Did also purchase he Samsung Action Mouse, makes the experience even better. Would also say the TabPro pen is also a great buy if you need to do any writing or sketching.

I was looking for a portable, lightweight laptop to use when I am on short business trips and gravitated to the Galaxy TabPro S after reading a number of reviews. I use the TabPro for basic business purposes including e-mail, internet use, Word and Excel. The m3 processor is fine for the intended use as is the 4 gb of RAM. I would have preferred the option of a larger SSD but Samsung does not offer one. A backlit keyboard would have been nice but is not a necessity. I was initially concerned about the single USB C port but purchased a couple of adapters online that provide the ports that I need. I should add that the OLED screen is awesome and makes the small screen easy to read for extended periods of time. Speaking of time, this thing last for hours without requiring a charge. When it does need to be charged you don't have to deal with a large "brick", just a plug-in adapter slightly larger than a cell phone charger. Finally, my 5 star rating is based on the price I paid for an open box model. The one I purchased was still covered in the packaging film and had obviously never been used. I was prepared to pay $799 (plus tax) and instead got it for $505 (including tax). At $799 this would grade out at a solid "4". At full retail of $899 I would rate it as a "3".

This tablet/computer is remarkable. The super amoled display is just a joy to look at and a very unique option for a windows laptop. The size is so compact and the keyboard that comes with it also acts as a case. It is also compatible with a pen that will be coming out soon. This is an awesome device. I highy recommend it.

I wanted something that I could take on travel for work without carrying my giant DELL laptop, so I purchased the Galaxy TabPro S to see how it would work out. It works great!! I looked at the Surface Pro, but decided I did not need to pay that much for what I needed, which was email, word, excel, and power point. I have purchased other Samsung products and have always found them to be reliable. I especially like the screen clarity and the speed of the TabPro. I needed to share files with my laptop, so I linked it to a cloud storage and I can easily exchange files while I am on the road (without the weight).

Really like the TabPro S, it is the best of both worlds as a laptop and tablet. Great for traveling as it is light weight even with the keyboard but I have the option of just taking the tablet if all I want is a way to read a book or play a game on the plane. Screen is large and has great resolution. If it had a port other than a USB3C I would have given it 5 stars because that is the only down fall. I bought the adapter but you cannot charge other devices using it. All-in- all though I love it and am happy with my decision to purchase it.
