While the watch is "unlocked" in the sense that it isn't physically locked to a single carrier, its LTE connectivity is tailored for North American networks and may not function correctly on European or Latin American cellular networks. Decent battery with good display.
The display is good even when the sun is at peak. Battery lasts one day. You have to charge every night. Features are good.

I had to upgrade from my Gear 2 since I got a new phone. The upgrade of this smart watch is amazing as the functions and features have been great!
