This phone is a must-have for anyone who needs to multitask. I purchased this phone after being an iPhone user for 10 plus years and this was the best decision I could have made. The switch was pretty easy and all of my messages sent to the new phone. I chose this phone over the standard the fold eight because of the 200 megapixel camera. Best decision I made because the phone takes amazing photos. There is nothing I dislike about this phone. The battery life is better than expected I played with it the entire weekend and only needed to charge it twice. Now that I am in my work week it is still going strong. I took the phone off of the charger about 5 hours ago and I have only lost 7% of my battery. The phone is very thin and lightweight. I can easily hold this with both hands. I also like that I can choose between face id, fingerprints, and a pattern. When I'm in my car face ID is more convenient and when I'm holding the phone the fingerprint is more convenient. I like that I can have all of these options at once. The speakers are great and the inner screen quality is amazing compared to last year's devices. I did not like the way the graphite looked outside of the store so I did return it and exchanged for the Violet shadow.

I’ve been really enjoying my Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra. The large foldable screen is easily my favorite feature it makes multitasking, watching videos, browsing, and getting everyday tasks done much easier. The phone feels fast and smooth, the display quality is excellent, and the camera takes great photos. I also love the Violet Shadow color. it looks very sleek and premium. It took me a little time to get used to the foldable design, but now I really enjoy using it. Overall, I’m very happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend it.

Best Buy sent me a pink camera instead of the phone I ordered. When I contacted customer service, rather than simply correcting the mistake and sending the item I actually purchased, they told me to call the police. This was especially surprising because I’ve generally had good experiences with Best Buy. In this case, however, the wrong item was clearly packed and shipped to me, and Best Buy refused to correct the issue, leaving me with no reasonable option other than to dispute the charge with my credit card company. Then, have buy the phone from someone else.

I love how lightweight this phone is and how big the screen it is when unfolded. Been an Apple user for more than 10 years and I can say its not that much work or adjustment. But you really have to take your time setting it up how you want it to be. And also watch a lot of reviews because this phone is powerful! Im giving it 4 stars for now because I havent really completed a whole month with it but so far i am loving it.

I've been usinf this Phone for about a month and a half now and it is great! I'm coming from a Fold 6 and in almost every way this phone is better. First thing I noticed was the size. It is significantly thinner than the 6 and fits into a pocket just fine. The front screen is also so much bigger. A big issue with the fold 6 for me was fat fingering the keys while typing. It genuinely is a much better phone. My only issue is the whole punch camera on the inside screen. It is very annoying while watching content on the inside screen. I don't know why they didn't put it in the corner like the Pixel. With all that black space while watching things I think it just makes more sense. That is my only big issue with the phone. Overall great but that one issue can be very annoying.

Easily versatile and fast processor with astonishing camera functions

I’ve been a Z Fold user since the 3rd generation, nonstop. This one definitely feels lighter, and I feel like Samsung finally nailed it with the tighter close‑up and the flat foldable screen. The only thing that bothers me as a premium user is that plastic protector they added around the camera. I never use cases on my phones, so having that plastic piece there doesn’t feel premium at all. Anyway, I’ll survive with it!

I am an Apple guy so take this review with that in mind. Specifically Samsung has too much clutter over the Android core software. Competing text message apps and wallet app make it confusing trying to teach elderly 'non technical' people how to operate it. Other than the software issue, the phone works great and I have heard less complaints about this phone than any other phone that my mother-in-law has owned. She bought it and my wife and I are in house tech support for her, lol. We will have to see how durable the screen is but solar so good. Pros: Nice build quality. Displays are clean and sharp. Cons: The Samsung overlay is awful and confusing. To many competing and similar apps from Samsung and Google on the same device is confusing.

I've had the zfold3 since it came out. This is my upgrade and it was an excellent choice. Battery life on the folds is well maintained over my work day and personal life. Inner display quality is great for shows and YouTube. Highly recommended!

After upgrading from my Galaxy S25+ to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8, I can confidently say this is the most satisfying phone upgrade I've ever made. I loved my S25+, so I wasn't expecting such a noticeable change in how I use my phone every day. But the Fold8 has completely won me over. The OLED displays are stunning. Colors are rich without looking artificial, blacks are genuinely deep, and everything from scrolling through photos to watching videos looks crisp and smooth. The outer screen is great for quick replies and everyday tasks, but the larger internal display is what makes this phone special. I honestly thought folding phones were a gimmick, and that I'd open the bigger screen occasionally just to justify buying it. I couldn't have been more wrong. Now I use it constantly—for reading, multitasking, videos, browsing, and even handling things I'd normally switch to a tablet or laptop for. It's become one of those features I don't know how I ever lived without. The hinge and crease were two of my biggest concerns before buying. In actual use, the seam is barely visible. I only really notice it when light hits the screen at a particular angle and reflects off the surface. Looking straight at the display, it practically disappears, and running my finger across it feels surprisingly flat. It never distracts me when I'm watching something or scrolling. Battery life has also been a massive improvement over my S25+. I'm getting roughly double the battery life I was used to, which is especially impressive given how often I use the larger screen. Instead of constantly checking my percentage or planning around a charger, I can just enjoy the phone. What surprised me most is how quickly the Fold8 stopped feeling like a novelty and started feeling essential. It's polished, practical, beautiful to use, and genuinely changes what I expect from a smartphone. I bought it curious about the folding screen; now I can't imagine going back to a traditional phone.

Display is insanely clear, camera is comparable to the Ultra. Glad I made the switch. Makes multitasking so much easier.
