I got this SSD just about a year ago and still works flawlessly. No issues and super fast. I use this SSD for my PlayStation 5 and still has enough space for any other games in the future. It seems to be perfectly compatible with PlayStation 5 and I have a Heatsink on it so it won’t over heat while using it. Definitely worth it and pretty affordable.

This was one of the 980 Pros that were affected by the firmware issue that leads to corrupted and non-functional drives. Fortunately I found out just as I got my m.2 and was able to update the firmware to fix the issue. Overall about 5000 MB read/write speeds in a Gen4 slot. Make sure to format it as GPT like your boot drive so you can use Resizable BAR with your 3000-Series NVIDIA graphics card.

This buy was simply unbeatable. The Samsung 980 Pro 2Tb SSD NVME M.2 I bought was refurbished and discounted to about $140. Theres nothing bad I can really say about this: it was already formatted so my board picked it up immediately and I assigned paths to it, it has read/write speeds 5,000-7,000Mbs, it's the price of an HDD and offers faster and more reliable storage, cuts out SATA cables and power so space is optimized. Simply the... "Best Buy" :D

I've bought numerous refurbished hard drives from best buy and always got basically new drives with hardly any written data on them. I checked and confirmed my finding with samsung magician only 1.8TB written on hard drive. So I'd take those odds with the money saved then buying brand new

This is my 2nd Samsung 980 pro nvme. I have no complaints on this 2tb or the 1tb. I had been using the 870 SSD and upgraded to nvme.

it's too good to use for laptop or computer.and it's easy to use and easy to find out and get more ssd for app or picture

I don't usually buy refurbished SSD but since its Best Buy I thought I'd give it a shot. Caution for those individuals who maybe using this as an external drive. - The SSD was in a loose non-anti-static bag. - Unformatted (usually SSD have been formatted for 1st time use) HD seemed to format ok, but hope its as good as a new one.

Was sent a brand new 990 pro with heatsink. Would’ve been sweet if it was just the regular 990 pro. But unfortunately i cant use the heatsink.

Solid SSD. Great price. Bottom falling out of the NAND market has made SSDs crazy affordable. Replaced existing SSDs with this unit (2TB) in both my laptop and desktop PCs. This unit runs cool...even under heavy workloads rarely gets above 135 degrees F in my laptop.

Decent for a refurbished drive, Samsung magician shows there was 4TB previously written, During benchmarking it got super hot and still pulled 6800mb/sec, really needs a heatsink. Overall, didn't die and satisfies my game storage needs.

When I first purchased this item, I was surprised to recieve the 1TB version instead of the 2TB. Thankfully it was still on sale and I was able to repurchase after returning the original. The second purchase was perfect! Recognized instantly by the Samsung Magician software as a genuine product. Full read/write speeds of a PCIe Gen 4 drive with the correct amount of storage space this time. Only about 1.2TB of TBW so it was basically new and still has a long life ahead of it (Samsung rates the 2TB version for 5 yrs/11,200TB life). Highly recommended!

While it does look like the drive was used for over 300 hours when it came in according to CrystalDiskInfo, the drive health is still 100% and total bytes written was under 1 TB. Drive works perfectly. Installed this in a Lenovo Legion 7i Pro 16" Gen8 laptop. Gets the full performance of the drive. Packaging was in very poor condition. Drive itself looks pretty new.

I've bought a number of used NVME drives and I have not had any issues with them. This is a great deal for a really fast, large storage device. This is my only drive for my gaming PC (aside from an external backup drive), and I have plenty of storage left over to store games, and my computer boots up lightning fast. I am very happy with this product.
